Now news for you either this morning. Looks like next week it is.

There's a major warning going out about 7-zip vulnerability. Version 16 has it fixed but the library is being used nearly everywhere so other software still have it e.g. antivirus scanners. Also the Universal Disk Format (UDF) is also effected since it uses 7-zip which means DVD, Blueray players reading unknown sources is dangerous. This is the most troublesome computer thing this years for private person because everyone is affected.

Looks like no other programs have been informed or updated beforehand. I seriously doubt it will be resolved soon, most likely this will haunt everyone for years to come. I have to at least update or replace my file manager, winrar, iso tools, emulators, MS office, etc. Gosh what else?

A bit older issue can be simply solved by creating an empty file (use editor) named UXTheme.dll in the 7-zip program folder. Then set file attribute to read-only. This will prevent the real malicious file from being put in that folder.

Obviously a problem solved by having something else on your mind or needing some sort of work accomplishment. If it's this easy any hobby thing could do (or just another propaganda post about board games). So why didn't people working in the field realize this earlier? It's probably not working for everyone. Probably depends very much on family relations.

Well I hope everyone knows by now that the only reason I haven't gotten back to Tenchiforum is
technical problems with the computer and nothing personal. I'd hate to think people thought I wasn't coming back from my anime hiatus because I was intentionally mad at somebody.

Hopefully the computer is back to working normally,or at least somewhat normally so we can all get back to a bit of normality.

Any ways I hope it doesn't decide to go all klabooey again.

If I am unable to get back on to Tenchiforum I will have to think through my options.

Any ways I watched Leverage all afternoon and evening yesterday from about 5 to 11.
They were showing the episodes that featured Jeri Ryan.

Finally I voted yesterday and sent my ballot in today. Yeah I confess I went over to the dark side
and voted for The Donald but then Lex Luthor wasn't running and neither were Darth Vader or
Khan...or should I say....KKKKHHHHHHHAAAAAAANNNNNN!!!!!" (makes a great campaign
slogan doncha think?)

As I see it if Dagon doesn't get back to you then my options are:

1. Wait a bit longer to see what happens.

2. Consider it all water under the bridge and go on from there.

3. Think of joining another forum instead.

Those are the three that come to my mind for now.

The computer was back in the shop again last week. So I don't know if you've heard back from Dagon
or not.

I didn't think that there would be this much problem getting back on when I left for my hiatus, then again I didn't think that we'd suddenly wind up getting upgraded to Windows 10 and all the fuss that followed.

I'm starting Magic User's Club OVA tonight should be fun. Also sent in my order for the
Mardock Scramble Trilogy Triple Feature DVD on Monday.

We went to our old house in the country to pick up some stuff for our church's rummage sale on Friday and I brought back some more of my comic book collection. I think I have now all of my
Catwoman comics.
I also brought along some Batman comics and what I have of Buffy,etc.
But the important thing were the Cat and Bat books.
The '90s comics have a very slick look to them on the covers. So glad I brought them back.
The only problem was finding the space to put everything in,but I worked something out for now.

Well any way I think I will wait until August to see what happens on getting back to Tenchiforum.

Supergirl is now on theCW so expect more crossovers with The Flash and Arrow
in Year 2.

Finally, OKC's futility in the playoffs continued this season. It would be ironic if they won their first
championship the same year Seattle got back in the NBA, and also if they did it without Westbrook or
Durant.

I saw some of the reality series Relative Race on the BYUtv channel yesterday. Basically couples from all over the country are given the object of finding new relatives by racing across the country.
When they get to their city or town of destiny for the day they have to send in a photo of a landmark
with the city/town's name on it as proof. Then they're given a task to do after which they're given
directions where they can find their relative.
Evidently is not so much about who comes in first but who doesn't waste time getting to the location.
Since the teams all go to different places it really doesn't matter the order of who arrives where.
Teams are eliminated once they get three strikes.

I haven't tried going back to Tenchiforum as I think it wouldn't be worth my time until we can get the entire thing with the password taken care of.

Well Marvel is now all douchebaggey since they decided to reveal that the one true Captain America,
Steve Rogers has been an undercover agent for HYDRA all along. As one blogger noted it's rather interesting that they waited until the co-creator of Cap died before they did this stunt.
And yeah, I think Jack Kirby might have a few choice words to say if he were still alive too.
Kirby co-created just about half the iconic superheroes that weren't named Superman,Batman or
Wonder Woman.

I guess it's one of those stunts they pull to get new readers and try to one up DC.

Pens and Sharks will have Game 6 after all! I saw most of yesterdays game and it was one of the most exciting sporting events I can remember watching. Jones played like a HOF goalie yesterday.

Congrats to the Penguins for their fourth Stanley Cup. Kinda saw it coming when the score was 3-1
and the Sharks failed to score. I wonder if we ever have a final between the Jets and Sharks if they'll
play a medley of hits from West Side Story during intermission?

Sad about what happened in Florida over the weekend. Sadder still the Left and especially the Far Left
are still unable to say the words: Islamic Terrorism and instead blame it on everyone and everything else from Trump to the Pope and guns. Sadder still the FBI knew about the shooter and had him on their Watch List but refused to do anything because they put him down as just a
harmless kook.

I think any Moslem or Mosque that spouts off about supporting violent jihad and groups like ISIS
should definitely come under 24/7/365 surveillance, and if they go out of the country they shouldn't be allowed back in. I also think that the more radical Moslems in the West should be forced to register
and report to the police wherever they live. Not all Moslems but just the ones that show sympathy to
Radical Islam.

It would sort of be like how sex offenders are treated, there would be an alert issued every time someone who supported violent jihad or radical Islam moved into a new neighborhood so people would know about them as well as the police and other authorities. Also they would be banned from ever owning any type of firearms or working with explosives of any type for life.

That's just how I feel at the moment.

Here's a sports irony for you: I live in Mariners territory but the local short season A team, the
Spokane Indians is a farm team of the Texas Rangers!
So a lot of the current Rangers actually played for Spokane, which means that it's tough in a way not to root for the Rangers when they play the Mariners.
( I grew up rooting for the Twins which is why it's so natural for me to root for them when they play the Ms).

So Vegas will get the new NHL franchise. No help for Seattle there. It seems like Seattle is now

Lupin The Third vs. Detective Conan in which I told them that since the check cleared I have no idea what happened. I also mentioned that Mardock Scramble Trilogy arrived alright and I plan on ordering RWBY as soon as I get paid next month.

I threw away the order number after I got the package containing Mardock Scramble Trilogy
because I thought it was the one for the earlier order and that meant it was on the way....

In other news:
Congrats to the Cavs and Lebron James for coming from a 3-1 deficit in the Finals to win the NBA
championship.

Also Ichiro has broken Pete Rose's hits record. Though some may quibble about the fact that half of those were earned in the Japanese League.

The #DumpTrump Movement would be comedic if it weren't so serious. Mostly it seems to be made up of a batch of embittered Neocons.

I've been e-mailing with Rightstuf back and forth about my situation with my May order. It looks like
I will simply have to go and ask for a replacement on Monday if it doesn't turn up before then.
I went to the PO yesterday and it wasn't there...so either someone else picked it up or it's now
lost for good.

AFAIG with the DVD cases I been looking up and Amazon as a set of 100 singles for about $20.
That might be my best bet for now, but I'm still hoping that someone here might have some
used cases they might want to give away.

That and I need also to locate some 17 or 18 multi-disc cases as well.

As soon as I get some DVD cases I will continue with putting the DVDs in the CD sleeves on the shelves.

Personally think the bad British economy for the working class and the ineffective way that the EU
has handled the refugee crisis and the shootings in Paris and Brussels had a lot to do with it.
Too bad the Scottish Independence vote hadn't gone the same way.

Thunder made another mistake by trading Ibaka to Orlando. Have to wonder what their front office is thinking when they keep either trading or letting some of their best players go. This is the same sort of thing that happened when Wally Walker ( fan favorite as a player but terrrible as a GM) was in charge of the Sonics when they were still in Seattle.

And speaking of which, I'm not as hostile to the Thunder as a team as I was in past. Though
the ownership is a different ball of wax altogether. They're still a bunch douchebags as far as
Sonics fans are considered.

Hello there. I am not sure if that's good news if any. I mean there are some good reasons to support Brexit, but that's not what the broad consensus voted in favor of leaving for. That being said, since i am stuck in investments, well interesting phone calls I had all day. Phones exploded.

That being said I hope some antics at work to deal with it were not discovered. Entering an odd sensation of depression and paranoia again. Oh well hopefully it will pass soon.

I think once all the excitement is over with the markets everything should calm down again.
What I find to be surreal is that a lot of immigrants,working class and older and poorer people were
for Brexit and the younger,better educated wealthier were Remainers. Ok, that's not the surreal part;
the surreal part rather was that you have these white well to do folks(men mostly) with University
education going around calling immigrants who support the Leave movement "RACISTS"!
I mean when was the last time you ever heard of a white man calling a black or brown one for that matter:"Racist!"?

In the meantime Scottish Independence may have gotten new life since the majority in Scotland support Remain. Though it is rather hard to think that the EU would support or even want a separate
Scotland in the Union.Certainly Spain has made noises that it will blackball any attempt by the Scottish people to get in on their own.

Reading Brookhiser's book on the Adameses from John to Henry. It's readable and concise,which is the best to be said. OTOH it does seem a bit unbalanced at times and the author's prejudices unfortunately
come through too often.

SBNation has been a godsend sports wise since I now can keep up with my favorite teams in a way
that I couldn't before and also get more into NHL with the Wild. I noticed the last time I was there
that their menu when you click on say NBA actually has the name of the various blogs instead of the teams now.
Of course with Seattle they always had it Sonics Rising, but now if you want to click on the T'Wolves say you go to where it says West/Northwest Division Canis Hoopis.

I think the election will be closer than a lot of people think, especially since no-one is counting the Independent or Third Party candidates in the polls. But whoever wins it will probably not be much of a landslide if any. Maybe 5-10% difference.

It might be in the next decade or two that the UK will end up being simply England and Wales.The fact that the pro-Union Scottish people only voted to stay if the UK stayed in the EU will be a telling point in the next Independence Referendum (whenever that is).
Also more likely that North Ireland will be interested in reuniting with the South which is in the EU.
