As a new beginner it's common to get tired. And anime isn't exactly easy stuff to begin with. What matters is to keep your progress up to a level where you feel confortable.

    --------------

After all that watching of israeli news it came to nothing... Aside from the social issues change there was supposed to be some change regarding israeli-palestinian mixed families who account for about 20% of the population. It's still common for society to "exile" "traitors of any kind".

A lot of news are about the tunesian shootings...not surprising considering it's one of those safe-havens for IS. But whats not making the news is that the rebels in Jemen are about to take over the country. The president palace was bombed just now.The president has fled etc...

And there was some nice shots of the smoked frankfurt skyline, Germany, when Blockupy movement cause all the chaos.

Tomorrow's the solar eclipse in Europe. I'm curious if any news of a blackout will turn up. I'm prepared to be hit by thunder if I'm wrong. Laughing

I wouldn't be too surprised if Yemen ends up splitting up again.Aden used to be the capitol of
South Yemen before the two countries united into one.

I wonder if anything happened since today's the 20th.

It's also the first day of Spring(but I always thought that was supposed to be the 21st).

Yeah, it does take time. I'm getting more and more to the point where I can recognize more words and phrases here and there. It's titles like Spice And Wolf and Black Lagoon that
can be the toughest to follow.

Well having a break once a week is a good idea, it'll give my mind a rest and I'll have something to shoot for.Plus when I re-watch something like Diebuster subbed or dubbed I'll be able to see
    what I might have missed.

I don't know if I have a sprained muscle somewhere or a pinch nerve but my left leg has been feeling sore for awhile now. To be on the safe side I'm going easy on the exercising until it feels better. I think
I might need to stretch more before riding my exercise bike or not ride it so long.

Lee Kuan Yew who founded Singapore and made it what it is today died. He was it's first Prime Minister and saw it through Independence and it's short lived union Malaysia. In the paper it said that the people regarded him as a strict but firm father figure. A lot of things he did like having harsh penalties for such things as littering though unpopular helped to make Singapore the livable city-nation it is today.

Looks like Norway's Svalbard Island was the place to see the solar eclipse this year. The Faeroes were
    clouded over.

You known it seems many elder people have this problem on the left side. I dunno about the details but maybe should should go check it out. It could be some problem with blood vessels.

    ---------------

One of my aunts died recently and was buried on weekend. Not many could come because of distance and the short notice. There's still chaos in the aftermath. Mostly about arguments from the past of what happened or not etc. Gosh, I'm glad not to be involved with any of this. You can guess she wasn't exactly popular.

So Richard III finally got his kingly burial. I wonder if the crown on the tomb was originally worn by him.

    ----------------

The news said there was plenty of electricity. Heh. But there were eye-damage-havocs. I bet they simply used sunglasses. My simple tip is to use film negatives. I used to use them for a lot of high energy experiments when I was small.

So Yemen finally made it to the news. Well, I doubt much can be done. We tried and I doubt many see any sense in trying further.

There's also been calls for some archeological soldiers to protect sites from IS. Of course IS sells items at a higher price. It's the cue for tomb raiders Laughing and mercenaries.

I think the problem is mainly from too much exercising. Exercising is good but still need to be careful.

Sorry about that Almael, It's sad when a relative dies like that and people are still angry over past
    slights and feuds.

Well it was definitely a better funeral than Richard III got the first time around. Though he still is one of the most controversial rulers in English history. Personally I think he did have to have at least known about his nephews murders beforehand if he didn't totally agree to it or order it.
Also considering Edward IV's womanizing a good case could be put to whether or not Edward V and
his brother were actually legitimate...a subject for some other time.

A lot of those relics date back to Biblical times which is why it is such a lost when IS destroys them.
After all they are remains of what used to be one of the mightiest and ruthless empires in World History: the Assyrian Empire.

Nigeria is having it's elections despite the terrorism. Goodluck Jonathan should have changed his first name to Badluck Jonathan considering all the bad things that have happened under his watch there.

I honestly don't know what to make about the new Indiana law.

We will see but it looks like some manipulation is happening.

As far as laws goes you have to always look at the worst usage because that's the most likely use. I think it's discriminating. It looks like a waiver to me i.g. getting rid of ethics and such.

Looks like some people really want to break into Ft. Meade...

It seems the pilot of the germanwing aircraft had suicidal problem since before becoming a pilot. I guess it would have happened sooner or later. The people getting involved are just very unfortunate ...not like anyone has a choice but to fly along.
With the changes going on in the industry I predict a rise in problems.

I'm ok with whatever time, though I'm only on here Mon.,Wed. and Fri.

So the opposition won in Nigeria, I suppose they figure the newly elected President will be able to take a tougher stance than Goodluck Jonathan on Terrorism since he used to be the military dictator briefly
in the 1980s and was known to be tough back then.

I think there's a major difference between refusing to serve someone and being co-erced
to serve someone. The proponents of the Indiana law seem to be trying to make the case based
on the latter. I don't know though, since it could be used as an excuse if someone wanted to get out of a pre-existing contract.
Though the over-reaction to it is just as bad.

They complain about corruption and all, yet they voted for the previous military dictator...said to be "honorable" etc...

Well, most "starting" laws are bridgeheads for more troublesome laws. We will see soon enough how it will turn out.
Apropos, turkish police are now allowed to shoot at their discretion. This is pretty much a license to kill undesired people.

You're going to have to tell me what to do then since I am still asea, my usual state of confusion when it comes to technical things. I couldn't replace a fuse without getting lost.

So it looks like the German co-pilot was wanting to commit suicide after all. But why did he have to
take so many innocent people along with him?

Just saw Killing Jesus on Fox News Channel. Technically not bad, they did try to make it as authentic looking as possible,so that part wasn't bad; otoh the theology was meh. It was more of a
    fictional account than anything else.
Not even a very good one at that.
    On the whole I think it merits either a B- or a C .

Cromwell...at the time there should be good military records regarding payments & hirings. Remember the navy had extensive records to track down deserters. You should be able to look up something from the british military history records. Maybe you can try asking the british military museum, London.

A russian n-powered sub is on fire due to repair works. Officially it's only an area of 20 square meters (=> more like 200 m^2) that's been burning for hours.

It's official the german army's G-36 rifle has bad aim when overheating. Imho bad muzzle design.

Interestingly the 11 billion germany supposedly owns greece are now 27x+ billions. Shocked

Switzerland criticizes NATO about giving/selling the Ukraine weapons but conveniently forgetting that it is profiting from the russian sanctions and the conflict. Switzerland is now selling more weapons to both sides on a scale never seen before. It also has record sales on the civilian sector.

    Yes, of course...

That again. It's been said there was no reason for given for Jackson or any other as to why they got onto it. But it seems purely personalities of politics.
And since the women you listed have acolytes in their own "field" I don't see a need for them to be featured. So I rather support the political note which means someone who did some major political contribution for women. Hence, I'm leaning on the women suffrage case.
Someone like Elizabeth Cady Stanton maybe.

With Hillary's temper she could be the first tsundere to be elected President.

Over the weekend a family had their cabin near Springdale,Washington stolen. Not just what was in the cabin but the entire cabin building itself!
The authorities finally found it ten miles away when residents reported seeing a shed being moved through town.Still wondering why the heck anyone would want to steal a cabin in the first place for.

Rand Paul is getting flack for the way he acted during his interview, so I guess he's pretty much shot his chances now even though he leads Hillary in some places.

Something fun for a change: I read at the Patheos website yesterday that some people want G.K.Chesterton canonized. Laughing Laughing Laughing
He would certainly be a fun Saint.
The article pointed out how paradoxical Chesterton's life was and included an ancedote involving him and his good friend George Bernard Shaw.
Remember Shaw was a rather skinny fella and Chesterton was anything but.
So it goes that one day Chesterton meets Shaw walking down the street and hails him by saying:
" I see that there's a famine in the land."
Shaw replied by quipping back: " And I see who was the cause of it all!"
Seriously Chesterton was so huge that they had to lower his coffin through the second story window because it was too large to carry it down the stairs!

I have the impression this year the Hannover Fair this year is making a change toward more robotics than it used to be. Also there's a rise in chinese presentation.
    http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/robots/g1872/what-robots-can-do-now/?slide=1

It looks like it's settled that the ESA is committed to get humans to Mars, too. It's also pretty much assured that Mars One will become a hoax after all. It appears the  number of people went down and more and more of those "selected" are starting to have doubts.
The latest SpaceX Falcon landing test also failed in an explosion. It's too ambitious at this time. I'm wondering if including a parachute as support would not reduce return fuel requirement.

    Realities you don't wanna know:
Well, I got into a little discussion about vacuum toilets e.g. space toilet
Did a vacuum-flush commode once suck a woman's insides out?
    http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/1171/did-a-vacuum-flush-commode-once-suck-a-womans-insides-out
    another case
    http://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/18/opinion/18iht-edkeillor.1.18791456.html?_r=0
But the actual common scarry occurrences is for divers/pilots who use the toilet in the pressure chamber. Due to the pressure difference someone's innards can be coming out. Therefore, modern chambers are specially designed to prevent that.
Obviously, this happened in the past.

I guess even insects have to keep care of their business.

Meanwhile in the paper it said that the probe that has been studying Mercury the last several years is going to crash into the planet soon. It found a lot of amazing facts about the planet in the time it has been orbiting it.
