Random Thought

Well I sold both my LD players today. Depending on shipping,
I may have made all of $10 off of them over and above what I paid
a year ago. Guess that's pretty good considering their condition and
the market since Pioneer imploded.

Least I've got the Dual recordings made.

Now I just need to sell my xbox 360 controller mod, a guitar special effects kit, maybe
a guitar, and a mannequin and I'll be in really good shape.

Um...lately i feel need to buy something new...just can't figure out what to buy. Since all my choises are very reasonable i can't just buy "fresh model" when it's nothing special compared to what i already have. So far i only decided to buy new communicator - something like iphone but not iphone itself (it's too limited for me) so i guess i'll be buying samsung WiTu i900 model which is like windows iphone and received great reviews and is even more reliable.

Speaking of selling old stuff - anyone need a real large boat? Great for vacation - only 100 tonn displacement, only 40 liter per hour fuel consumption, 25km/h top speed

We'll you being in the EU, not sure what I could suggest being the different frequencies over there.
If you wanted an Iphone alternative, I'd suggest something with Google's Android platform.

I have a portable DVD player....
You can swap the region codes on it manually and play any dvd region.
I might be convinced to part with it....

Evidently by pressing the multi quote button for each post you want to quote, then go into the regular reply panel... not the quick reply.

It's got the leather carrying case and all that mess, so it's a bit more than your average Wal Mart junk.
Was like 180 when we got it from CompUSA many moons ago. Was supposed to be for home school

random thought of the day for me...well actually 3:
1. why is it that all the girls who I'm attracted to are really really christian, yet I consider myself agnostic?
2. How the hell did sophmore year of college pass by so fast (2 more days of classes, then a week of exams, and I'm out)
3. I haven't played CoD 4 in like 3 days...its really weird, and I need to get back on my game

its just strange because first semester i would play like 1-2 hrs a day, and i might get that much playtime in in a week now

Right now we're having negotiations around new contract and i already hate all the politics, diplomacy and stuff. Looks like i still can't get used to making tough decisions that affect people other than myself or perhaps i just hate any additional responsibilities and boundaries.
Soimetimes i dream to have some small shop or very small business so that i'd never had to make any big decisions.

I never been too internet active. Let alone being leader of some expo. How shall i put it? "I'm not a public person" i think It wasn't long since i got into anime btw. So mod/staff leaders have a lot of responsibilities too? I guess everyone's job is not easy sometimes in one way or another

Anyway - looks like we're getting somewhere and soon i'll be able to rest a little.

I've been thinking about bying something to cheer myself up. But list is short - #1 in list is a new wacom tablet - either new Intuos 4 or maybe i should go straight for Cintiq line of display tablets. They're kinda expensive here - about 3-4k $ so maybe intuos4 will do - it's around 700$ per A4 model.

If it's that much cheaper here, ship it to me and I'll ship it to you.

Not as though I've nto done that a half a dozen times for doujinshi and japanese items already.

mitsuki, you're pretty much correct...there's this one Presbyterian girl, but the grand majority are baptist (pronounced babdist). I'm with ya on the second comment, but i figure i can't just bargain on getting tractor beamed up into a starship or have someone fall out of the sky on me, so I'm not gunna get my hopes up

well another HUGE part of the equation is that they can both sing...like angels
and since i can sing as well (albeit I'm a bass as opposed to a soprano), this is one of the MAJOR things that turns me on...and its awesome. but i dunno...I've given it alot of thought, and haven't figured it out yet...i hope maybe one day wisdom will dawn upon me, but I'm not betting on it.

PS: although i wouldn't bargain on it, how awesome would it be to have some (extremely attractive) starship captain or something fall from the sky and have to live with you? I mean...fun times for all

Me have question.. how'd you get into Gundam, and the UC timeline of all things Lt. S ?

Hmm...thats a difficult one. The first anime i ever saw was one a family friend who was babysitting me and my brothers brought over...it was gundam wing. I had played Mechwarrior before this time, and so, the idea of giant robots beating the ever living crap out of things greatly appealed to me, and i got hooked. Then, when toonami aired gundam: 08th MS team, it was pretty much over. Despite the awkwardly shoe-horned in love plot...thing, it was and is my favorite gundam ever (followed by 0083). It was my favorite because the dudes in it were essentially grunts fighting in a totally insignificant theater of the war, using what were MOSTLY just run of the mill suits. Also, the Zaku II's (my personal favorite mobile suit of all time) in 08th looked like robots instead of the cheesy "dude in psychadelic medieval armor" look they had in the original gundam. The overarching storyline was also compelling (1 year war, zeon, etc etc etc), and I've found a great love of most things Zeon (Sieg Zeon, btw). This love was finally cemeted when i got the gundam PS2 games, and when i went to japan and played the 360 arcade gundam game, which was AWESOME. So that was that, and now animes with mobile suits are pretty high up on my list of "things that are cool"...haha along with those cheesy romcom animes, if only because they reassure me in the same way that disney movies do, with the whole "the guy will get the girl and live happily ever after yadda yadda yadda" stuff
