So Roger Ailes is one savvy man. Instead of answering Gretchen Carlson's accusations of sexual harassment himself he's using a classic two prone attack. Basically taking a chapter out of Bubbb
Clinton's playbook: 1. he's having other female FNC persona like Kimberly Guilfoyle counter the
accusations and 2. he's using the FNC friendly internet media (i.e. conservative news websites
like Breitbart,etc.) to get his version out.

In the end they will make it look like it is all sour grapes on her part. Classic move that they seem to have learned from their counterparts on the Left.

Legend of Tomorrow was renewed for Season 2!
So DC shows will lead off the CW week nights from Mon-Th. at 8 each night starting in October:
Monday:Supergirl
Tuesday:The Flash
Wednesday:Arrow
Thursday:Legends of Tomorrow
That leaves Gotham now as the sole non-CW DC series.

And finally: I don't know what's happening about the Xena reboot, just rumors so far.
Although some people claim that Xena and Gabrielle are going to be lovers from the git go.
I have to wonder if that will be a good idea or not.It depends on what type of stories and plotlines the
show has. The reason the original was so successful was that it appealed to a wider audience.
If they forget that and just focus on the LGBT viewership than it probably will end up flopping.
You can't simply make a gimmick out of characters relationships and expect to get great ratings all the time.There needs to be more.

The forum was acting weird today. It kept going to a warning page. Don't know that was all about but
it seems to be back to normal now.

I have one more thing to do before I can get my replacement order in. it appears that I have to
e-mail the USPS about the situation.

Don't know if I need a tracking number or not but we shall see.

Watching Mardock Scramble for the next three weeks on Wed. Found out that Hayabashari
Megumi stars in it!

the MacGyver reboot is scheduled for Fridays.

Oh and now it looks like it's going to be neck and neck going into the conventions. So whoever
has the worst convention will loose.

I tried to sent in my notice to the post office about my package but I ended up with a message that
there was a problem in processing the claim it didn't specify though so I will have to try again later on in the week.

And now the GOP convention. This should be interesting with all the big names excusing themselves.

Our local IFL team is in the finals against Sioux Falls, and my heart is torn in twain: I grew up in
southwestern Minnesota not far from Sioux Falls but also in northwestern Idaho not far from
Spokane so I could consider both my 'home team'!

Any way it looks to be a good week so far weatherwise..

This time around it worked so I will see what happens with the replacement order now.

Breitbart states that everyone at FNC hates Megyn Kelly and Gretchen Carlson and that if
Ailes is fired or leaves a bunch of the big names will walk and form their own rival network.

People have made too much about the similarities between Melania Trump's speech and
Michelle Obama's back in '08. It's only about 30 words out of a much longer speech.
It's not like say she lifted an entire speech like Biden did.

I was amused yesterday that Missouri had to remind Kansas that Kansas City was in Missouri and thus the Royals played in Missouri and NOT Kansas. I also noted that Oklahoma didn't bother to mention the Thunder.

Now that the GOP convention is over it's time to get serious about winning in November. Trump did a good job of deflating Hilary's momentum going into Philadelphia next week I think.
Though there were certain people like Wil Wheaton who would say otherwise.
And speaking of Wheaton is the guy even relevant any more? I mean the last time I saw him was on
Eureka and that was a long time ago.
BTW: someone on Twitchy posted the scene from STNG where Dr, Crusher slaps Welsey and someone else posted the dressing down that Picard gave him in another episode.
And of course there was that ever popular: "SHUT UP WESLEY" meme.

And speaking of irrelevancies: the NBA has fast become irrelevant as sports league. The latest is that they decided to bow to PC pressure and relieve Charlotte of the 2017 All-Star Game.

At this point of time I am wondering if it is any use in trying to even contact Dagon about returning to
Tenchiforum if he hasn't contacted Almael yet.
I haven't been there for a couple months now so I don't know what's up.
Alternatively I have been thinking of either Animenation Forum or Sailor Moon Forum.
I just don't know. Animesuki would be another alternative.

It's just that I don't know looks like anime and other types of forums are dying out thanks to social media.

Any ways those are my thoughts on that for now.
Though I have made my own deadline for August 19 since that is the day I have my dental cleaning appointment(I also have to make my doctor's appointment then too).

Dental appointment at 8:00 a.m. on Friday the 19th also need to go in and make my annual doctor
appointment this month. Looking forward to neither.

The President of the Czech Republic is talking about allowing Czech citizens to go armed in public and
closing borders to Moslem refugees because of the attacks elsewhere in Europe.

Actually Moslems have always wanted to conqueror the West going back to the days of
Charles Martel.

One of the more ironic things is that Prince Vlad Tepes of Wallachia in Romania mainly got his bad rep
because he was one of the most fierce opponents of the Moslem Turks.
Perhaps Dracula wasn't such a bad guy after all.

I think what we ought to do is tell the Saudis and other Moslem countries that we'll continue to take in Christian and other non-Moslem refugees from the Mideast as long as they take care of their own co-religionists.
In fact the only Moslems we should now let in are Sufis.

E-mail situation is basically we can barely get it now but can't send yet.
Life is one thing after another.

Breitbart radio had an interview with comics writer Chuck Dixon on how he fears his legacy
maybe in danger from 'Social Justice Warriors' who slowly have taken over the comics industry.
The interview was reported on at Breitbart.

Dixon did a lot of work on the Batman books in the '90s.

I wish DC and Marvel would both come out with retro type lines for those of us who perfer the
older stuff.

Still have e-mail problems though the internet is working so far like a charm.
Basically still can't get or receive any e-mail which means really can't do anything about any forum
joining or re-joining as yet.

And that is just the tip of how bad the past week was:
I go for my 8 a.m. dental appointment on Friday and went an hour before I'm finally told the dentist
retired; and so now I have to wait until this Friday to have my appointment.

It appears the whole e-mail thing has to do with the server being hit by a power surge during one of the last storms we had a few weeks past. They say it will take some time.

Finally got my dentist appointment. It will be this Friday at 8, though I don't know what will happen after since the new dentist is going to be only working part time for now.

BTW: We now no longer get any of the 24/7 news or sports stations or SYFY or the Travel Channel
or even BYUtv* since all those stations were upgraded to HD or something like that and put on a
higher tier.

While we still have our regional 24/7 station,but as far as the others go: considering what has been going on at FBC with the whole Ailes thing,probably not a loss at this point in time.

*Not a Mormon but I did enjoy Relative Race and some of the nature shows they had.

Well on any note good to see you still posting Mitsuki. I check in every once in a while see if things have changed much. I'm headed to Youmacon so that should be rather awesome.

Yeah, I don't know when Almael's coming back. It's only been him and me here for an awful long time.
I've pretty much given up on ever getting back to Tenchiforum as I haven't gotten any word back about the situation there.

I haven't checked on either the thread or the wiki for awhile; mainly because I don't think there has been any activity in either for quite a long while.

Well I had my October doctor appointment today because they found blood in my poop test.
To be brief I now have to go and have a colonoscopy in October...not looking forward to.

Wasn't on Monday because of company from Ireland. We had a good time and got some new information on our Huguenot line. It appears that the man we thought before was our 6x great
grandfather was really the brother of our 5x great grandfather.
Another interesting thing was that one of my 3x great grandmothers turned out to be a devout
Roman Catholic who married an Anglo-Catholic( i.e. High Church Anglican). We also found out that
the family seems to have originated in the region of Cournaille, Brittany.

A lot of new stuff to digest.

In any case still a lot to work on.

On any note, the Dunkerque seems like a Spoor-esque ship. No such thing as defensive fire on that ship, all guns must be used in the assault since you have no meaningful rear turrets. All blitz.

Hmmm... never heard of World of Warships. Then again I'm not into video games.

Looked up the DC Comics website yesterday and they seem to be going to have some rather cool stuff happening this coming season on their CW shows, including a four episode crossover between
Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. There's also going to be a musical crossover between S-Girl's and Flash's shows. I think it be interesting to see how
exactly they work things out for that one.
Actually since the two stars were both on Glee it might not be too bad. That and then you do have the precedent of both the Xena and Buffy musical episodes which were
especially well done.
Oh, and the interesting thing of Legends of Tomorrow is not only do they get two new members and the JSA shows up but also former member Captain Cold will be part of the Big Bad
that they have to stop.
Should be fun since he knows what each of the heroes is capable of doing!

Finally: yeah that part about my 3x great grandmother was rather interesting. I had always thought that all of my Irish ancestors after the Reformation were Protestant but to find one who was a Catholic and not so far removed in time either. Her maiden name was McCarthy btw.
