Some interesting news on the cancer front:
Epigenomics got permission to sell a cancer detection kit.
More important a "new" Immunotherapy using genetic modified K/T-cells has proven successful (after years of testing) for difficult leukemia. Here your K/T-cells are extracted, modified and re-infused. They go on to destroy malicious cells. For some reason I can't find further details. My guess is it's limited to specific cases. The reporters were obviously not competent enough to provide any good info to go with.
Leukemia is a immune disease, hence, all therapies are called immuno-something. -_-
This reminds me next week two years ago, Lisetta, the founder of the DSS italian team lost to leukemia. She was a great person, always ready to help despite her grave situation. We had a few people at Abhnation, too. I wonder...
