The battle for the Minerva's life continues and Kira vs. Athrun (again...anyone knows how many times these friends have fought each other by now?) in ep. 28 of Gundam Seed Destiny Friday
subbed.

Soichiro and Bob's design to conquer Toda Academy has a sudden set back when they come up against the Natsume sisters and their Juuken Club in ep.1 dub of Tenjho Tenge Saturday.

The next to final ep. (ep.12) of Nanoha dubbed on Sunday, sees Nanoha and company facing off for the final time against Fate's "Mother".

I watched the sub of ep. 4 of Aria on Monday night, in which Akari is given the difficult task of delivering an old data disk to a long dead recepient.

On Tuesday saw S 1 ep. 22 of Cat's Eye where Hitomi unwittingly saves the life of Toshi's younger cousin.

Wed. ep. 6 of Vivired Operation, Akane's grandpa's plans to force the girls into situations where the power of their friendship could manifest backfires in a large part due to Rei.

Comment: For some reason Himawari has a desire to push any button that says "Don't Push" and also
for being a tomboy Wakaba sure is frightened of bugs!!!!
And then again...Akane is the only one of the girls that was clueless that it was Rei that kept saving their butts.

Th. ep. 6 subbed of High School of the Dead, as the gang tries to relax, outside the police have trouble trying to contain the horde of zombies and the mob of protesters on the bridge.

Comment: Hirano tells Takasahi that he was trained in firearms by an expert from Blackwater.

Watched the sub of ep. 29 of Gundam Seed Destiny on Friday night, which was basically a clip show of the highlights of both Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny. Aside from the death of Asahina in RaxePhon the death of Flay in Gundam Seed has to be one of the most tragic and sad scenes in any mecha or anime period.

On Saturday night watched the dub of ep. 2 of Tenjho Tenge, Sochiro and Bob gain the unwanted attention of the Todo Academy's executive council and the Executor is sent after them.

Sunday watched ep. 13, the finale of Nanoha, Fate and Nanoha say their goodbyes for now.

Monday watched the dub of the first Cardcaptor Sakura movie: Sakura wins a free trip for four to Hong Kong and an unexpected new adventure.

Tuesday ep. 23 of Cat's Eye: the latest target turns out to be at a museum where Ai's boyfriend's father works as the manager causing a riff between the sisters.

Comment: Afterwards Ai comes home really pissed because her boyfriend decided he wants to be a detective like Toshi!

Wed. the sub of ep. 7 of Vividred Operation: to find a weakness in the Manifestation Engine Rei inflitrates the girls study group.

Comment: I don't know why I have been writing it with the "a" all this time.

Th. the sub of ep. 7 of High School of the Dead: Takashi risks his life to save Alice.

Friday finished what I have of Gundam Seed Destiny with ep.30: Shinn fulfills his promise to Stella.

Saturday watched the dub of ep. 3 of Tenjho Tenge: After failing to protect Chiari, Shochirou and
Bob decide to join the Juuken Club and learn how to get stronger.

Sunday ep. 14 of Trigun: Milly and Meryl volunteer to be bodyguards to an old couple.

Comment: Hiromi Tsuru is credited with playing Meryl, she's best known probably for her role as Madoka in Kimagure Orange Road. Also throughout the episode Vash is called "Broomhead"
for obvious reasons.

Welp found out today that they've officially merged Right Stuf and Crucnhyroll, which made it a pain trying to order since they use the Crunchyroll order form instead of the Right Stuf and my Right Stuf
account didn't work so I had to sign up for a Crunchyroll one instead...
Also they seem not to have at this time rolled over all of the Right Stuf stock into Crunchyroll so I couldn't find the final EVA Rebuild movie and settled instead for Gundam 0083 and more money than I wanted to spend....oh....well...hope they accept my Debit Card....

That said on to the regular programming....

Monday watched the Sakura Wars movie dubbed, though I still think the subbed makes more sense considering Sakura's attempt at English when she first meets Lachette. Also the movie doesn't go into why Leni and Orihime resent her so much.

Tuesday S 1 ep. 24 of Cat's Eye: The sisters target a radio station when a female radio personality accidentally picks up a record meant for Ai.

Wed. ep. 8 of Vividred Operation: With Akane in the hospital it looks like the rest of the girls will also be put on the sidelines but Himawari comes up with a plan of action.

Comment: One of the coolest moments not just in Magical Girl but in Anime period is the scene where
Aoi, Wakaba and Himawari show up at the air field just before the planes are about to take off.

Th. ep. 8 of High School of the Dead: The gang's long trek to safety comes to a seeming end but one more battle with the Zombies happens before they're rescued and Takagi has a joyful reunion with her mom.

Comment: So Hirano is into old American WWII tv shows!!! I think this is the first time I've ever heard The Rat Patrol mentioned in anime!!!!

In honor they should have named the episode something like: The Last Stand Before Safety Raid.

Friday ep. 1 of Nuku Nuku Tv: Atsuko "Nuku Nuku" Natsume's first day of school and nearly her last when she has to use her androbot powers to save Futaba from the menacing hands of Mishima Industry's Mr. Laundry robo-washing machine.

Comments: Alison Keith does a brilliant job as Nuku Nuku in the dub, also the parody includes all the basic high school student tropes.

Saturday ep. 4 of Tenjjho Tenge: Golden Week brings training camp to the Juuken Club and a green monster arises when two of the members expierence jealousy.

Sunday ep. 15 of Trigun: Vash vs. Legato and his Gung Ho Guns pt. 1.

On Monday night re-watched the dub of Inuyasha The Movie 4: Fire On The Mystic Island, I also watched the Special Scene Selection from the original Japanese Cast and Crew.
Also, I think this was the first re-watch of Inuyasha since the death of Kirby Morrow, but I didn't realize that until I was half way through.

Tuesday saw S 1 ep.25 of Cat's Eye: A Winter get away and heist pits Hitomi against a spoiled
rich girl who vows she can do what the police can't: stop Cat's Eye in their tracks.

Wed. night watched ep. 9 of Vivired Operation: Himawari becomes a reluctant model for the weekend.

Comment: And she gets her revenge at the end when she unrolls a list of factory tours she plans on taking with Wakaba for the rest of the year.
Revenge is sweet...especially the look on Wakaba's face when Himawari tells her it's for the rest of the
year!!!!

Th. ep. 9 of High School of the Dead: Takashi and Saeko fight their way to the mansion.

Friday ep. 2 dub of Nuku Nuku Tv: Nuku Nuku accidentally activates a dormant Mishima industries giant clay robot on to the school.

Saturday ep. 5 dub of Tenjho Tenge: The School Executive Committee attacks the Juuken Club while they are relaxing at a local bowling alley.

Sunday ep. 16 sub of Trigun: Vash faces off against two more Gung Ho Guns in the city of Augusta, also Wolfwood makes his appearance.

Monday re-watched the live action Green Lantern movie.

Tuesday watched S 1 ep. 26 of Cat's Eye: the sisters are tricked by a syndicate head who wants Hitomi to steal a valuable piece of American naval technology off an aircraft carrier for him.

Wed. night ep. 10 of Vivired Operation: Rei is finally trapped thanks to Himawari's finding a way to track her arrows.

Th. night ep. 10 of High School of the Dead: Life at the Takagi mansion.

Comments: 1) Seeing how the teens the remained on the bus were so quickly depraved by Shido makes
me even more sick when I see him, the man's more a monster than the zombies.
2)On the bright side: Saeko in that kimono!
3) Unlike Shido, Takagi's dad is a true righteous man, even praising his friend, whom he executes, for saving his life.
4) The way the gang comes together to stand by Hirano when he's in trouble was worth the entire episode.

Friday ep. 3 of Nuku Nuku Tv: Noriko joins the Natsume family when her mother goes to her high school class reunion.

Saturday ep.6 of Tenjho Tenge: As the battle in the bowling alley continues Maya discovers a secret.

Sunday ep. 1 of Niea__7: A day in Mayuko's life includes being annoyed by a certain alien moocher and a classmate learning of her living circumstances.

Wed. ep. 11 of Vivired Operation: Akane and the rest of the girls go on a mission to rescue Rei and learn her story.

Comment: I wish that Aniplex could've done an OVA that would've shown Akane and the other girls visiting Rei's world in order to show us what it was like.

Th. ep. 11 of High School of the Dead: Takashi is choosen leader of his group; Saeko recieves a legendary blade from Takagi's father; Shido and his group are expelled and exiled from the mansion.

Comment: When discussing what the various members of their group would be like in an fantasy MMRPG Rei and Takashi come at last to Alice and decide: "Arisu-chan is Arisu-chan!"
When they talk about her the illustration shows her in a doggie suit, which shows how they think of her and Zeke as being related.

Monday OVA 4 of Vampire Princess Miyu, Himiko returns to Kamagura and learns of Miyu's past and the first time they met.

Tuesday S 1 ep. 28 of Cat's Eye, Ai's amnesia leads the sisters and Toshi into a wild adventure where she is targeted by terrorists.

Wed. ep. 12 the finale of Vividred Operation

Comment: Nice epilog with Akane seeing Rei returning from her world for a visit.

Th. 12 of High School of the Dead, the finale.

Comments: 1) First time any anime I've seen ever using that famous line from T.S. Eliot's The Hollow Men: " This is how the World ends, not with a Bang but with a Whimper." to cap the ending with.
2) Takagi's parents are two of the coolest and Kick-Butt secondary characters of any anime.
3) Yeah...this and the finale of Vividred Operation are two pretty good reasons why not having an all electric based military is a good idea....one EMP Pulse and everyone's dead in the water...literally for the navy!!!!!

Friday watched the dub of Nuku Nuku Second tv special: Nuku Nuku learns all about the Japanese version of St. Valentine's Day.

Saturday ep. 8 dubbed of Tenjho Tenge: The Battle of the Bowling Alley winds down.

Sunday ep. 3 of NieA___7: NieA attends a meeting of the local aliens, while Chada and Karna are introduced.

The final EVA Reboot movie came today, so next month I'll watch all four movies on consecutive Mondays.

Monday ep. 4 raw of El Cazador de la Bruja: Nadie and Ellis are chased by the two transvestite
bounty hunters.

Tuesday S1 ep. 29 of Cat's Eye: The latest heist takes place at a fashion show.

Comments: 1) Asatani is one of those side characters that needs an OVA or spin off series of their own.
2) Once again Hitomi is nearly caught by Asatani, she's really their most dangerous opponent. It be interesting to see what would happen if they were on the same side.

3) Sight gag: In one scene of the buildings has the name KOJAK on it: like, "Who loves ya Baby?"

4) I forgot to mention with El Cazador De La Bruja, in one scene there's a building with an ad for NOIR including an illustration from the ED.

Wed. night S 9 ep 1 of RWBY: The girls find themselves in an Alice In Wonderland type world.

Comment: The talking mice reacting to Blake, a Cat Faunus, was hilarious.

Th. S 1 ep 14 of Little Busters: the story of Mio and Midori.

Friday ep. 11 of Nuku Nuku tv, the class makes an Sci Fi-Monster movie.

Saturday ep. 9 of Tenjho Tenge, with the end of the Bowling Alley battle Maya promises to tell the others the truth about what happened two years ago.

Sunday ep. 4 of NieA__7, Mayuko gets a visit from an old friend.
