Yuki Yuna Is A Hero Friday, S 3 ep. 6: Chikakeg's backstory and her descent into madness.

Gasaraki Saturday ep. 21: Yushiro's attempt to rescue Mahiro from Symbol fails.

Nanoha Sunday ep. 4: Fate is introduced.

Comment: That kitten has to be the cutest non-humanoid monster of all time !

Monday re-watched the sub of ep. 9 of Girls Und Panzer: Katusyha's plan to trap Oorai seems to be working, and if Miho can't figure a way out that would lead to Oorai winning the semi-finals it'll be the end of not just the tournament but for the school for the girls from Oorai!

Tuesday watched S. 1 ep. 14 of Cat's Eye: When Toshi and Asanti are abducted the sisters find themselves in the unlikely position of having to assist the police!

Comments: 1) The two brother villains are named Jaws and Shark, a definite homage to either the
novel/ movie or maybe the James Bond villain or both.
2) Since last episode the ED has been completely in English.
3) I also noticed that at least for ep.14 the background writing seems to be referring to the history of the Shakers...for some reason.
4) Next episode appears to be a Rui episode.

Wed. ep. 4 of I"S PURE: At the beach Itchaka meets Asumi, a girl who just broke up with her boyfriend and she tells him a way to make sure he and Iori can be sure of their love.

Th. ep. 16 of Cowboy Bebop: Jet's past comes back to haunt him.

Friday S 3 ep 7 of Yuki Yuna Is A Hero:Chikage redeems herself by sacrificing her life in order to protect Nogi from the Vertex.

Comment: Afterwards when Nogi apologies the look on Yuna's face when she declares that Chikage died a true Hero is worth the angst of the last two episodes.

Saturday ep. 22 of Gasaraki: With Yushiro returning to the team the Japanese prepare for the
supposed American invasion.

Comment: Suzume seems to have the same type of ability as Yushiro since the Kugai reacts to her in the same way.

Sunday ep. 5 of Nanoha: A weekend at the hot springs turns into another battle between
Nanoha and Fate.

Comment: This is Alf's official introduction. Also the embarrassing situation that Yuno finds himself when Nanoha takes him into the Women's area of the Hot Springs is mirrored later on in the series when Nanoha sees Yuno's human form for the first time.

Monday ep.13 of Eureka Seven raw: After crash landing Dominic and Renton must team up to get
needed medical supplies for Anemone and Eureka.

Tuesday S 1 ep. 15 of Cat's Eye: Rui is abducted by a mad man.

Wed. ep. 5 of I"S Pure: Despite interruptions Itchitaka finally manages to confess to Iori.

Th. ep. 17 of Cowboy Bebop: Ein and Ed in search of food.

Fri. S 3 Ep. 8 of Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: The last stand of Yuna Takamachi and Wakaba Nogi.

Comment: The discussion between the two Yunas was interesting since Yuna Takamachi noted they
look like the same person to the Gods.

Sat. ep. 23 of Gasaraki: As everyone waits for the US President's decision on War or Peace. Phantom manipulates the situation so that Yushiro and Mahiro will duel again.

Sun. ep. 6 of Nanoha: Nanoha and Fate clash again while Arisa and Suzuka are worried about
Nanoha.

Ordered my pre-order for RWBY S/ Vol. 9, so that means,IIRC, that there's only one left if they're still doing 10 Seasons/ Volumes.

Monday watched the sub of ep. 13 of Utena which was basically a recap featuring Utena's previous duels.

Comment: Nanami, the series buttmonkey got more screen time than Chu Chu the actual monkey!


Tuesday S 1 ep. 16 of Cat's Eye : Because of a sudden black out Hitomi finds herself stuck in a high tech vault with Toshi and air running out.

I"S Pure ep. 6 on Wed. night: Iori's managers want Ichitaka to break up with her.

Cowboy Bebop ep. 18 on Th. night: A message from young Faye via video from the past.

Friday S 3 ep 9 of Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: What was really going on with Karin during the time
Yuna was being "engaged" to the Divine Tree.

Saturday ep 24 of Gasaraki: After the American attack on the Gowa building fails the President
does the unexpected by lifting the grain moratorium.

Sunday ep. 7 of Nanoha: Nanoha and Fate's conflict gets someone's attention.

Monday watched the dub of ep.13 of Gundam: Amuro's homecoming isn't what he expected or hoped for.

Tuesday watched S 1 Ep. 17 of Cat's Eye: When Ai gets injured in an hostage situation Hitomi
blames Toshi and then ignores Rui's orders and rashly goes off on her own to steal the next piece of art on their list and to help Toshi regain his confidence.

Comment: Even with Rui and Hitomi giving him backup the shot that Toshi makes in the climatic battle is a bit unbelievable, not only because he's shooting a gun but his opponent has a high caliber rifle. Also his opponent is a former Olympic shooting Gold Medalist!

Wed. ep. 1 of Vividread Operation: The Alone attack just when Aoi returns to Blue Island to reunite with Akane.

Th. ep. 1 of High School of the Dead: A normal school day turns into a day of horrors when the
Zombie Apocalypse (tm) arrives.

Comment: Hisashi wanting to be killed after he's been bitten was a logical decision on his part as he didn't want to endanger Rei.

Friday S 3 ep. 10 of Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: Mebui, inspired by Karin and the Heroes Club efforts to free Yuna from "marrying" the Divine Tree, tries to free Aya from the destiny of the Mikos.

Saturday ep. 25 the finale of Gasaraki: The Gasara and their intent are revealed.

Comment: Cool moment when Miharu, the girl with no family, calls Misuzu: "Little Sister" thus establishing her own family with Yushiro and Misuzu.

Sunday ep. 8 dubbed of Nanoha: Nanoha and Yuno learn the history behind the Jewel Seeds.

Monday Sailor Moon ep. 13: Jadiete sets a trap for the Sailor Scouts at the airport.

Tuesday Cat's Eye S1 ep. 18: to escape capture Hitomi and Ai find themselves impersonating
women pro-wrestlers.

Wed. ep. 3 of Vividread Operation: To defeat the Alone Akane and Aoi must combine and become
Vivid Blue.

Th. ep. 3 of High School of the Dead: Separately the gang comes together as they find themselves fighting the zombies in the school hallways.

Comment: Takagi's emotional break down at the end pretty much sums up what they were all feeling.

Friday S 3 ep. 11 of Yuki Yuna is a Hero: The Hero Club decide they want to live as normal girls.

Saturday S 2 ep. 8 of Vandread: Plans for Miea's surprise party go awry when the Nirvana is attacked and she goes missing with the ship's baby.

Sunday ep. 9 of Nanoha: The final Jewel Seeds.

Oh Happy, Happy Day!    
I was just looking around at Right Stuf and found out the finale of Neon Genesis Evangelion Rebuild movies will finally be coming out next month on the 17th!!!! Now I can finally finish my Eva Rebuild movie collection!

The down side is though still no news as to when movie/ OVA four of the Girls Und Panzer: Das Finale will be out.



Monday re-watched ep. 4 of Murder Princess: Alita,Falis and company are forced into exile after the real villains reveal themselves.

Comment: I think that Alita/Falis is enjoying herself as Falis/Alita's maid since from the beginning, before they switched bodies, it was clear that Alita never wanted to be Queen after her parents were killed.

Tuesday S 1 ep. 19 of Cat's Eye: To steal a fabled Hawk statue, Hitomi disguises herself as
Asatani!

Comment: And speaking of our favorite female detective: Asatani is one astute chick when it comes to figuring out who or whom(?) Cat's Eye actually is, she's simply light years ahead of Toshi and the other male detectives and has already put two and two together and got four. If it wasn't for the sewer being handy she would have nailed the sisters right there and then. The fact is that Hitomi did such a good job of imitating her that even her younger sister Ai was convinced!!!

Wed. ep. 3 of Vividread Operation: Wakaba is introduced and challenges Akane to a duel but then the Alone shows up..

Th. ep. 3 of High School of the Dead: the gang escapes from the school finally and along the way picks up Shido's group.

Comment: Shido is one of the most evil characters I've seen in anime, he makes evenPrime Minister Honest from Akame Ga Kill look like a kindly old grandfather by comparison; I mean the guy
punches a student in the face breaking his glasses and leaving him to be zombie food instead of helping him out. I have to agree with Rei here, Takashi should've just left him there!

Friday S 3 ep. 12 the series finale of Yuki Yuna is a Hero: The girls adjust to their new lives.

Comment: When it comes to Itsuki, Fu's gotta Fu!!!!!
Also the Churottos were themed around the Hero Club and Sentinels and various versions of the girls from different Eras and even Parallel Dimensions, along with the OG Heroes in search of the Best
Udon Ever (tm).

Saturday ep. 9 of Vandread: The Second Stage: Hibiki is stranded on a planet of telepaths and needs to reach the top of a mountain while facing his past and his inner demons.

Sunday ep.10 of Nanoha: Arf is wounded and captured and tells what she knows about Fate and her mission.

Monday ep. 4 of KOR: Rumors spread about Kyosuke and Hikaru after they spend an innocent night together.

Comment: I decided to try my fansub version since watching my fansub of Please Save My Earth had worked when I put it in the Blu Ray player.

Tuesday S 1 ep. 20 of Cat's Eye: Hitomi and Toshi's romantic get away is anything but...and then a jewel thief pretending to be Cat's Eye strikes...

Comment: Again poor Toshi can't get anywhere with Hitomi....

Wed. ep. 4 of Vividread Operation: The official introduction of Himiware.

Comment: She goes all fangirl when she meets Akane's grandpa Dr. Isshiki and it doesn't even bother her one bit he's in the form of a otter plushie!

Th. ep. 4 of High School of the Dead: Rei and Takashi's odyssey continues.

Comment: IIRC  either the gas station they stop at to refuel or one of the stores they pass by had the English name SHAUN on it. Wonder if this was in joke about the comedy/horror cult classic Shaun of the Dead?

Friday ep. 27 of Gundam Seed Destiny: The Minerva is ambushed on its way to safety.

Saturday ep. 10 of Vandread: The Second Stage: The Nirvana's home coming is not what any of the crew expected and then a spy is discovered in their midst.

Comment: It's interesting that it happens to be the vice-captain who gives the order to have himself arrested once his true identity is revealed and not the captain.

Sunday ep. 11 of Nanoha: Fate's background is revealed and why her "mother" wanted the Jewel Seeds.

Monday ep. 4 subbed of Rozen Maiden: Suisseki is introduced and immediately takes a disliking to Jun.

Comment: Hina-Ichigo has only been with Jun for a short while by now but she and Nori have already developed a big sister-little sister relationship.

Tuesday S 1 ep. 21 of Cat's Eye: After saving Toshi's life Hitomi discovers she's lost her beloved pedant that her father gave her, but Toshi wants to give it back to Cat's in thanks for saving his life.

Comment: This turned out to be one of the funnier episodes, especially the scene where the Chief and Asatani go undercover to tail Toshi; Asatani actually kinda rocked her look but the Chief gave me vibes about Boris Badenoff from Bullwinkle and Rocky!!!!!!

Wed. ep. 5 sub of Vividread Operation: Rei's background and why she's working with the Alone.

Comment: This is the only ED where there's a solo; the animation revolves around Rei's melancholy
of loosing her people and home.

Th. ep. 5 sub of High School of the Dead: The rest of Takashi and Rei's group split off from Shido's group and later re-join Takashi and Rei.
