Girls Und Panzer, Das Finale pt.4 is still it seems not available or out yet and they were sold out of
War on Geminar the complete series and both parts 1 and parts 2 were nearly $70. So I ended up
ordering Dears instead,as I couldn't find Nuku Nuku either.

Monday re-watched ep. 6 of Chobits: Chi starts acting lethargic and Hideki doesn't know what's wrong with her and what to do.

Tuesday S 2 ep 45 of Cat's Eye: When a car thief heists the police car that Ai hid gems she stole from a crooked CEO Hitomi has to race him to get the gems back.

Wed. ep. 6 of Gundam OO83: Stardust Memory: After the Albion arrives on the moon Kou runs away and ends up meeting Kelley a one armed ex-Zeon mobile suit pilot.

Great Line: "The next time we meet will be as enemies." Kelley to Kou.

Th. S 2 ep 4 of Little Busters: Riki and Rin agree to go out together but being boyfriend and girlfriend isn't as easy as it appears. Plus they get their final mission.

There hasn't been a lot of scifi/mechas lately and I see "Kaiju No. 8" is coming next month. I know there's a manga but I've never been looking into it yet so I'm curious.

Friday S 1 ep 12, season finale of Haruka: As Haruka;s birthday party continues Yuuto discovers that the old beach bum he befriended is the retired head of the Nogizaka Corporation and Haruka's grandfather!

Saturday ep. 25 of Tenjho Tenge: First part of the two part OVA sees the Juuken club training for the tournament and Aya letting her jealousy of her older sister manifest itself.

Sunday ep. 7 of Flip Flappers: Discovering the consequences of their last trip to Pure Illusion makes Cocona reluctant to go again but when she discovers herself back there against her will Papika is missing.

Comment: The various versions of Papika that Cocona meets seems to reflect the different ways that Cocona views her: sister, tom boy, brat, free spirit even temptress...

Monday watched the sub of S 1 Ep 6 of Himouto! Umaru-chan: It's the week of Umaru's birthday and her brother has the week off.

Tuesday S 2 Ep 46 of Cat's Eye: In order to discover where another thief has stashed one of their father's paintings before they could steal it Hitomi must pretend to betray and kill her own sisters.

Wed. ep. 7 of Gundam OO83:Stardust Memory: Kou is forced into a battle to the death against Kelley.

Great Line: "Bite Me!" Lady Cima to the Luna Administrator after he protests her unsanctioned use of force within the Moon's orbit.

Comment: Even though she's one of the main villains, I have to say Lady Cima has become one of my fave characters.
I also like the way she punishes the mobile suit pilot who spilled the beans about who was actually going to pilot the armored mobile suit that Kelley was working on by sending him out in a Zaku to face Kelley in the armored suit alone!


Th. S 2 ep. 5 of Little Busters: Riki finally discovers who is behind all the messages that he and Rin have been receiving and why.

Comment: Kysosuke mentions the bus crash but Riki and Rin have yet to realize the truth..

7th Time Loop ep.11
I'm kind of skimming along as I've already covered it storywise. Anyhow, I dunno if they changed the OP-song but it seems superficial similar to H2O's Omoide for Miyuki.
Anyhow, in this episode Rishe plots to face against her (past life) alchemy master Michel. It's a struggle to prevent him from granting Arnold the power to destroy the world. However, Michel manages to disappear on his tails sending her and prince Theodore into panic. Meanwhile, prince Kyle struggles in negotiation with Arnold to save his people from certain annihilation by every power.

Sousou no Frieren ep27
Wow how fast episodes fly by. I dunno how long the anime goes but the series is much longer.
Serie is furious about the result of the 2nd (1st class Mage) test ending with too many passing. She blames it on Frieren's participation and decides to personally conduct the 3rd test. Frieren immediately knows she'll be failed; and warns Fern. But she's certain Serie would be unable to fail Fern and teases Serie. Serie indeed intended to fail her, too, but suddenly realizes something off about Fern... Fern refuses to become Serie's apprentice and as for her reward in passing she asks for a magic in line with her master upsetting Serie.
In this episode, we see a young Himmel being saved and impressed by Frieren (about 10 years) before their partying.
I hope we'll get to be told about the Hero of the South soonish a few episodes from now.

Friday S3 ep 1 of Haruka: Thanks to Shiina, Haruka, Yuuto and the gang get to spend the weekend at a hot springs; also the newest popular anime has a special event for fans in the same city.

Comment: This introduces Alice, the 8th ranked maid of Haruka's family's Maid Brigade; she's a mighty little mite of a maid!

Saturday Ep 26 (Ep 2 of the two ep OVA) and the finale of Tenjho Tenge: The Natsume sisters finally have it out in an all out sword duel.

Comment: This is only the second time that we see Isuzu in her true form.

Sunday Ep 8 of Flip Flappers: Cocona and Papika find themselves in an alternate world of electronics run by a miniature man they dub "Mister".

Comment: Pretty Cure is what Cocona and Papika's transformations make me think of, as in the original Precure; also Papika calls Cocona "Mimi" in the epilog indicating that Cocona looks like her mother and that Papika's memory has fizzled from too much time in Pure Illusion.

Monday watched the raw of ep. 6 of KOR: More girl troubles for Kyousuke as exam time arrives and he does double duty of being tutored by Madoka while also trying to tutor Hikaru over the same material.

Tuesday S 2 ep. 47 of Cat's Eye: the sisters are duped by Nazis into stealing a bottle of wine with a label their father drew when he was only ten, unaware that the flipside of the label is a formula for a deadly poison gas.

Comments: 1) This ep. establishes that the current year is 1984. 2) the impostor calls the sisters by their actual surname of Heinz and not their mother's maiden name of Kisugi. 3) at the end they find out that the wine was underwater too long as it's turned into vinegar!

Correction this is the end of the show (for now?)
Continuing and wrapping up from last episode... the main topics get highlighted once again:
* the difference between old fashioned mages (from an era of war and strife) and ordinary ones (era of peace).
Serie and the older ones are contrasted to the young generation. Even though Frieren is the former she's always been viewed and described by Flamme as the later which is the reason Serie dislikes her. Serie edicts Frieren to be barred from entering any magic association facility for the next 1000 years.
Frieren praises Fern for obtaining the mythic magic of "clean and spotless" from Serie... Serie comments it being a crazy choice.
* the difference between things that matter to the local folks vs the world.
it's the little things in life.
* Memory or remembrance
One of Serie's old student regrets not having made a mark in history and getting remembered by her.
Frieren assures him that's not the case as Series despite all her misgivings in having apprentices never ever regretted once. (Likewise, Frieren will forever remember the people she's met and carry them into the future.)
The story has a clear time line but I don't agree with its range especially the distance past because : the goddess bestowed magic knowledge 1500 years ago. Frieren meets Flamme 1000 years ago. It makes no sense that within just 500 years Serie became so powerful while gathering literally every magic in existence. How could they all have been invented in such a short time?; and presumably written down by the elves since human only get to be introduced to magic by Flamme. Welp.

Wed. ep. 8 of Gundam OO83: Stardust Memory: Lt. Burning's swan song: during a battle with Lady Cima, Lt. Burning discovers papers that indicate what Gato's plans are but before he can carry them back to the Albion his mobile suit explodes from damage inflicted during the battle.

Comment: Nina finds a card that Burning's ex-wife sent him after his death has been announced.

Th. S 2 ep. 6 of Little Busters: Rin returns for a weekend visit but is depressed so Riki decides they should run off together.

Friday S 2 ep 2 of Haruka: Haruka and Yuuto try their hands at making their own amateur comic.

Comment: Not only does the Haruka's seiyuu voice the lead character in the anime du jour this season, but all the main female characters shown are basically the lead female characters of Haruka slightly modified; and of course the fact that the names are so similar....Shiino for Shiina, Haruna for Haruka and Nanano for Nanami, for example, makes the gag even more evident.
(It also gives the girls' seiyuus extra work.)

Saturday S 1 ep 1 of Star Trek: Lower Decks: On Ensign Tendri's first mission on board the
Cerritos, the ship's crew comes down with a virus that turns those infected into living Zombies.

Comment: Pretty fun show, Mariner is right now my favorite character.

Sunday ep 9 of Flip Flappers: Yayaka and Cocona's friendship is tested and the first time they met is finally revealed.

Comment: The fact that Yayaka can't harm Cocona in order to take the shard that's imbedded in her
leg shows that Yayaka's friendship with Cocona means more to her at this point than finishing her mission.

Monday the raw of ep. 6 of Gits: SAC, Second Gig: While investigating the death of a worker on a salvage project, Togusa uncovers a government conspiracy.

Tuesday S 2 ep. 48 of Cat's Eye: When items that they have stolen end up being returned to the owners, Rui and Hitomi are shocked to find Ai is involved.

Comment: This was a good Ai episode.

Wed. ep. 9 sub of Gundam OO83: Stardust Memory: Gato uses the Earth Federation's plan to trap him to activate his own trap.

Th. S 2 ep. 7 of Little Busters: Riki tries to cheer up a depressed Rin by suggesting they play baseball.

Friday S 2 ep 3 of Haruka: Yuuto takes the temporary position of butler for a girl who acts brattish to hide her fears.

Saturday S 1 ep 2 of Star Trek: Lower Decks: Boimler and Mariner's assignment to escort a Klingon VIP to the next Star Base turns out to be more adventuresome than either expected; Rutherford decides to switch jobs in order to get more time with Tendri.

Sunday ep 10 of Flip Flappers: Papika finally reveals who Mimi is to Cocona, along with her own backstory; Cocona runs away from Flip Flap.

Monday the sub of ep. 9 of Akikan: Kakeru makes Melon take a part time job at a maid cafe in order to pay off her cell phone bill; Yell takes a construction job in order to buy Najimi a new alarm clock.

Tuesday S 2 ep 49 of Cat's Eye: when one of their father's paintings is stolen by a runaway, Ai goes undercover to find both the painting and the girl.

Comment: Midori's comment to Ai at the end leaves Ai with a bit of a bittersweet taste since unlike Midori she has never even seen her father and only knows him from what Rui can remember.

Wed. ep. 10 sub of Gundam OO83: Stardust Memory: While Kuo battles Gato once again, Operation Stardust gets officially underway.

Th. S 2 ep 8 dub of Little Busters: Riki and Rin have to tame a demented Masato.

Friday s 2 ep 4 of Haruka: At the Christmas party Yuuto collapses from over work and worry.

Comment: Introducing Maria, the medic.

Saturday S 1 ep 3 of Star Trek: The Lower Decks: When Captain Freeman decides to get rid of "Buffer Time" most of the ship's crew begin to collapse from over working to keep up; an Away Team is taken prisoners after a diplomatic faux pas.

Sunday ep 11 of Flip Flappers: Mimi takes Cocona to Pure Illusion as more of the truth is revealed about Mimi, Salt and Papika.

Monday ep. 9 sub of Utakata: A trip to Enoshima brings back painful memories of the earlier trip to the beach.

Tuesday S 2 ep 50 of Cat's Eye: Hitomi poses as the daughter of a dead gem cutter in order to retrieve a jewel created by her father stolen before the sisters could get to it.

Comment: The title refers to a jewel that Toshi decides to buy for Hitomi before the jeweler he purchases it from is hit.

Wed. ep. 11 of Gundam OO83: Stardust Memory: The Albion is assigned to the La Vie En Rose, where Nina meets an old friend but tragedy follows through treachery.

Comment: This is the episode that was based on the manga I bought and convinced me to buy the anime.

Th. S. 2 ep. 9 of Little Busters: Riki turns to baseball to convince Kengo to rejoin the Little Busters.

Friday S 2 ep 5 of Haruka: Yuuto is invited to the Year End Annual Butlers and Maids party that's hosted by the Nogizaka family this time around.

Comment: Even though he really needs the rice cooker Yuuto puts Alice want for the frog plushie over his own. Also Shute Sutherland must not have made much of an impression on Yuuto because he can't recall the guy's name; much to the chagrin of the overly arrogant and egotistical lad.

Saturday S 1 ep 4 of Star Trek: Lower Decks: Captain Freeman's attempts to get Mariner to voluntarily ask for a transfer to another ship keep back firing, that is until Commander Ransom reminds her of the one thing Mariner really hates-so she promotes her to Lieutenant!

Comment: The STNG poker game is parodied in the episode.

Sunday ep 12 of Flip Flappers: Yayaka and Papika's attempts to rescue Cocona are opposed by the Fake Mimi.

Comment: Sayuki is my favorite side character.

Monday watched the raw of ep 9 of Banner I.

Tuesday watched the sub of S 2 ep 51 of Cat's Eye: A fake wedding to catch Cat's Eye leads the sisters to discover the statue of the Virgin Mary they stole was also a fake.

Comment: This starts out as being comedic but then when the twist is revealed gets dark quickly.

Wed. ep.12 of Gundam OO83: Stardust Memory: As treacheries are uncovered the crew of the Albion and Kou in Gundam unit 03 attempt to stop Gato's plan from succeeding.

Comment: I also watched the extra video: The Mayfly of Space pt. 1 which focused on Lady Cima.

Th. S 2 ep. 10 of Little Busters: Basically a clip show from Kyousuke's pov.

Comment: Actually by Kyousuke blocking the gas leak with his body, he gave Rin and Riki the time they needed to get everyone else safely out of the bus.

Fri. S 2 ep 6 of Haruka: After hearing her mother describe the place where her parents officially fell in love, Haruka wants to go to the same place with Yuuto but circumstances seem to conspire against them.

Sat. S 1 ep 5 of Star Trek: Lower Decks: Mariner is jealous of Boimler's girlfriend and thinks she
may be an alien parasite.

Sun. ep. 13 the finale of Flip Flappers.

Monday the raw of ep. 9 of Love Hina: the rent money in Keitaro's room goes missing and the gang has a wild goose chase to find it.

Tuesday S 2 ep. 52 of Cat's Eye: Hitomi is kidnapped by a gallery owner who has an obsession with beautiful young college age women.
