    Hello there,

The election is complete and we are in a new world. Time for the interesting discussions to continue Very Happy.

Anyway, I am back from Youmacon. I passed my comprehensive exam, but there still remains two more months of grad work. I will be busy.

World of Warships now has the blue version of the Takao, which bothers me a bit, but that's fine, time to get another Myoko class cruiser. I bought Arpeggio of Blue Steel and I'm stupidly pleased about that. Anyway, talk to you later.

    Congrats!!

It's time corporate America gets its corporate emperor.
As I have predicted a year ago Trump was meant to win regardless because it was time for a party change. Future historians will be jealous about these exciting times. This is history to be remembered. This is a great year of experiments.

India has declared two of their large money bills for void. Looks like a seemingly cheap way to avoid a complete change of currency. We will see about that

Congrats on passing and hope you had fun at Youmacon.

When I went to bed it looked like Hilary had won and then when I was eating breakfast today I heard my mom scream that Trump was in!

Actually the popular vote in Washington State went for Trump but Hilary got the Electoral because of
the fact of all the Cadillac Liberals on the West Side of the state. The only county in eastern Washington that went for Hilary was Whatcom, but that is where Washington State University is.

So I watched C-SPAN a few minutes ago and saw Trump's victory speech.
    Very well done.
I like the way he talked about uniting all America.

Oh, as a political scientist, I am fine with his victory. I was in a vice in either case. Either way I will continue to be an advocate, but seriously did not feel anything bad about his victory, at least not nearly as bad as the Michigan elections in 2014 for governor and the state offices. That has had locally horrible impact on the state. Anyway, things will be interesting and at least he was magnanimous in victory. I bet no one expected that, but it didn't surprise me.

I bought the Arpeggio of Blue Steel and in the meantime . . . I watch it on YouTube anyway. Well at least I supported someone. Anyway, I am watching the series again and I am a bit more pleased with it this time since I am not focusing more on other background elements I didn't notice the first time.

When I first watched, I didn't notice the 3D animation until Episode 5, and that's only because Makie's twin tails make the draw-distance issue really obvious. Anyway, more on that later.

Protests continue today, and even I as a Social Democrat, that irritates me. Perhaps because of my more deeply leftist leanings, I understand political defeat and I am able to concede since well, any meaningful social-labor reform tends to be defeated often. That being said, some people need to know when they're beat. I for one look forward to the political battles I must fight in the future, at least they will be easier to fight. I no longer have to fight regressive-leftism since they've received their punishment.

On the lighter side of things I look forward to our new projects in space to improve our detectors of gravity waves. I forget the mission, someone comment below, but we're sending two gold cubes in this spacecraft to L1 to see how much more precise we can measure these waves. It has exciting implications for new large projects at such a distance.

I personally believe things can only improve given how things currently are. At long last, we have a chance in the United States for the now opposition party to understand that compromise must work both ways. Also I think we got some awesome science stuff in works coming up. Also Youmacon has put me in a great mood, especially with the news that my exam got me in a position to graduate with my masters.

Sorry, this was much longer this time. I am bored and alone, so might as well.

Youtube was how I also first watched Omamori Himari. It's cool when you can find an anime on
Youtube like that and then later can go back and support it officially by buying the licensed version when it comes out. Very Happy Cool Cool

Well, I'm on the other side of the political spectrum when it comes down to it. Which is cool since I know a lot of good people that are liberal and even though we may not see eye to eye when it comes to politics we're still friends.

AFAIG with the protests: as long as they're peaceful and don't turn into riots they're within their
Constitutional bounds.Even if you don't agree with them.
Though vandalism and defacing of public property in what they did in Richmond, Virginia is beyond the pale.

And finally: it seems like some of the Silicon Valley billionaires want to go and take their ball with them as they're upset at the Trump electoral landslide. So they're talking about California seceeding
from the rest of the Union.
Ok...well..as some one who has ancestors who had tried that already:Good Luck with that!
and don't let the door slam your big fat corporate behind on the way out! Laughing Laughing

This is democracy if you don't agree go vote and accept defeat if you lose. There are people who don't agree with anything from a country yet insist on the rights provided by said country. Those are hypocrites and liars. They should leave.
I'm only concerned the average citizen will lose out to the now more advantageous corporations. He's going to put them all into the all ministries's head positions who will rule in corporation's favor and not consumer's. There's probably not much changing as far as foreign (economic) dealings go since we always had been doing the exact things he had promised.
I don't believe corporations and such would cecede or leave the country. After all a country is a money source not of their own. If things go wrong the tax payer will chip in. And a country provides military forces at no cost. It's haven for any corporation to have a country to rely on. So I never believed in (scifi)fiction where corporations would take up the roles of nations. Too much hassles, management and not much profit and if anything goes wrong you pay it yourself.

    Hello there,

I am not worried about corporate expansion under Trump, since Clinton would have been an identical case considering her backing from no-less the people I currently work for. So you had your choice between voting between two corporate figureheads basically, so again it's ok. I still think things will be ok soon enough Very Happy

Anyway, I am beginning to appreciate the OST from Arpeggio of Blue Steel. It's fantastic.

On a more humorous note: Breitbart reported that vandals in California misspelled the f word
when they spray painted some anti-Trump graffiti on a building.
    Seriously?
How can one misspell the most popular obscenity in the English language?
Both sad and funny when you think about it.

I saw the 60 Minutes Trump interview with Leslie Stahl yesterday night. It did seem like in some parts she was fishing for headlines. But he did a rather good job of keeping on track and not letting her distract him too much.

I also think that the protests are slowly backfiring on the far left as more and more people are getting disgusted with their behavior, especially when it interferes with their daily lives such as
blocking streets and highways so that traffic jams occur.

Re-watching Gatekeepers 21 tonight for my Raw Monday Night tonight. I really don't think
I would have gotten into anime if it hadn't been for Techtv and it's Anime Unleashed block
    of shows.
    Good times:
    Silent Mobius
    Dual!
    Crest of the Stars
    Banner of the Stars
    Serial Experiment Lain
    Geneshaft
    Boogiepop Phantom
    RahXephon
    Gatekeepers 21
and others. The type of shows you wouldn't necessarily see on Adult Swim or today's Toonami.
The funny thing is I saw ROD,the tv on Anime Unleashed before Read or Die
    ran on SYFY's AniMonday block.

I didn't know Read or Die was running of "See-Fee" (Syfy). That's pretty cool. I was maybe 14 when that block ran and I have not seen Dual for sale any cons yet, but now that I think about it I should get it.

I have written more material for our wiki. I should gather more images, but I am not at home and heh-heh, keeping pace with everything is rather hard at the moment.

I need to open my BlueRay of Arpeggio of Blue Steel. I am on a navy fix I suppose thanks to Seikai. Really prepared to have a blast restarting my anime penchant. I've not felt this happy in a while. I say that like an idiot, the last time I was that profoundly happy was when I graduated in May 2014 but in any case, I am feeling really good.

As far as I can see people are mostly fighting over Trump's changes of his list of changes to health care.

I find new things missing that are becoming important everyday due to my hard drive loses. I thought I backup everything tripled but turns out I did it once and on the dead backup drive . *sigh*

I hear Mars One has merged or comes under the Netherland TV company. I think it's safe to say at this point this is a dead end.

    I forget when it airs.

I've decided that for 2017 I am going to start off with getting Akame ga Kill as I can't hold off
ordering it any longer plus as y'know: "Esdeath is coming!" Cool Laughing
Geez I haven't even seen a second of the series not to mention haven't even ordered it yet and already I'm beginning to think Akame and Esdeath are gonna end up 1 and 2 on my fave list!.

AFAIG: looks like either Guiliani or Bolton for State Department now. Both would give it a really no-nonsense approach. Already we're seeing a big difference in Foreign Policy.
If this leads to more cordial relations with Russia especially it will be good.

And in the world of sports: Russell Wilson of the Seahawks has just jumped on board the

Well a lot of people are upset by the way certain players have turned the entire national anthem
into a way of political protest. And now there're even rumblings of disgruntled fans wanting a new
league like the old McMahon founded XFL that be old school smash mouth style football

Yesterday my mom was with a women's group from our church visiting the local long care facility
when she fell and broke her left hand. So she has to take it easy for a bit, which isn't easy being as
she tends to be one of those people who has to be up and doing things all the time.

Otherwise it has been rather quiet here.

    Hello there,

I am upset myself as it pertains to the national anthem. I must note this contradicts my perspective on the previous protests from two years before where players would stand, albeit, place both hands in the air while the anthem played in protest. That I was fine with, since I even in the current context, considered it as a way to call attention and demand respect for "their" dead, which had not in the minority community mind been paid proper respect.

Conversely, refusing to stand bothered me greatly. Now taking a knee makes sense in a more religious or reverence context, but that's not what was done at first. I for one appreciated the Bills fans chanting USA. That I found rich. I suppose despite being a social democrat, I value reason and centrist positioning more than I value my political disposition versus anyone else. For instance I was glad to see Keith Olbermann working once more, but sadly he can't see past his own ego and lobs "fascism" as often as the Republicans lobbed "communism" towards the incumbent president.

Oh, as an aside, finished a whole bunch of stuff on the Wiki. Pick one to read or ask me what to send. Thank you.

    page 8:Bikini Warriors (!) Laughing
    page 9:[bCobra the Animation]
    page 10:Den Noh Coil

    page 23:Strawberry Marshmallow
    page 24:Sword Art Online
page 25:The World God Only Knows
    page 27:Yawamushi Pedal

I have to say some of them would be ones that I would be interested in like Shakugan no Shana others I haven't thought about like Cobra the Animation, while still others I haven't

Taking a break from editing I guess for the time being until new translations come out. My backlog is getting intimidating in terms of things I have to see dating only to 2014. Anyway, I want to play more World of Warhips, but that will sadly only be after some work on papers today. Companies will be Companies.

Anyway, I saw Trump's official statement of transition. Overall I approve except more so on the precipice that one new regulation must be met with two regulations repealed. The mathematics will make that difficult unless they wish to target critical regulation. Then again haven't seen what they intend to target, so that's my one concern from his speech on the official white house channel.

I hope some of the rumors about his office selections are untrue, including Romney to become Secretary of State. That would be more than alarming for me, but oh well. If I in my life time could survive Rumsfeld as Defense Secretary, Romney as state, hmm, I suppose I could live with that hopefully.

Hoping to figure out besides school what I want to work on in the wiki when I finally get time off. Tell me what you'd want to see please Very Happy.

So where do Roddenberry's children stand in all of this? I would think that they would have some sort of say as to the entire question at hand.
And can you even copyright an idea? that seems to be the question really.

As to Romney, he seems to be only one of at least three people's whose names have been floated for
Secretary of State. The other two being Guilani and Bolton.
At least we know now who will be representing the U.S. in the U.N. now: Governor Haley of SC.
The interesting thing is,as someone in the comments section at Breitbart mentioned is it
opens the Governorship to the Lt.Governor who was a staunch Trump ally during the campaign.

Don't rely on whatever he said before because none of them are what he truly intends. I don't think anything he said has any truth to it. He said them for the popular support only.

It doesn't matter who he picks he's the control type of guy. He'll fire people as soon as they are no longer are in his interest.

As for the wiki. I wish to improve fan relations with those episode/character pages but it's better to do it when you actually re-watch the shows. Otherwise pick whatever you see. There's lots of pages touching on other area's, too. Or look at the categories e.g ship's and see if you can but up some better (hierachic) organization.
They need description, too. Look at wikipedia for inspiration. We need more of those navigation templates at the end of pages. Need some smart foresightful planing in creating the basics from which to build them all up. Hence, category (hierachic) organization is important. The more grained the better for searches but also worse in case of fixing an error/bad planning.

Well it wasn't a campaign promise, it was on the white house's official channel. Apparently that's a thing now, a whole channel for transition. I feel like for some reason "regulation" is a buzz word used, but I can't imagine the bureaucratic nightmare sorting the mathematics of converging regulations in that way. I imagine most executive agencies will simply try to combine regulations in that case creating this gargantuan policies.

On any note, for the wiki, I must ask, since I admit I do not understand what you mean. I will continue to review and pick up pages as I see them. Some will need to remain as they are since I have a lot less to work with in terms of source material.

When you say Hierarchy, do you mean the 1.1, 1.1.2 stuff in terms of the outline format on a given article or page, or do you mean the categories at the bottom of the page?
