I bought the Arpeggio of Blue Steel and in the meantime . . . I watch it on YouTube anyway. Well at least I supported someone. Anyway, I am watching the series again and I am a bit more pleased with it this time since I am not focusing more on other background elements I didn't notice the first time.
When I first watched, I didn't notice the 3D animation until Episode 5, and that's only because Makie's twin tails make the draw-distance issue really obvious. Anyway, more on that later.
Protests continue today, and even I as a Social Democrat, that irritates me. Perhaps because of my more deeply leftist leanings, I understand political defeat and I am able to concede since well, any meaningful social-labor reform tends to be defeated often. That being said, some people need to know when they're beat. I for one look forward to the political battles I must fight in the future, at least they will be easier to fight. I no longer have to fight regressive-leftism since they've received their punishment.
On the lighter side of things I look forward to our new projects in space to improve our detectors of gravity waves. I forget the mission, someone comment below, but we're sending two gold cubes in this spacecraft to L1 to see how much more precise we can measure these waves. It has exciting implications for new large projects at such a distance.
I personally believe things can only improve given how things currently are. At long last, we have a chance in the United States for the now opposition party to understand that compromise must work both ways. Also I think we got some awesome science stuff in works coming up. Also Youmacon has put me in a great mood, especially with the news that my exam got me in a position to graduate with my masters.
Sorry, this was much longer this time. I am bored and alone, so might as well.
