Friday saw S2 pt.2 ep. 1 of Yuki Yuna Is A Hero, this season so far seems to be a prequel featuring Washio/Mimori and her friends Nogi and Mino. Knowing what happens in S1 there's a bit of
bittersweet melancholy to this season.

Comments: 1) Mimori's seiyuu returns to reprise her role.
2) This Season and Season 3 and the Churuttoshorts all subbed only.
3)Unlike S1, Washio and her friends have had some training before go up against the
Vertex for the first time.
4) Also their teacher explains to the rest of the class why from time to time the girls might seem to disappear from the classroom( so from the rest of the class perspective everything
appears as normal except that Washio and her friends seem to disappear.

Saturday ep. 4 of GasarakiYushiro and the rest of the TA team are sent to investigate the ancient shrine near the Baluchistan capitol.

Sunday ep. 11 of Akame Ga Kill: Dr. Stylysh attacks Night Raid.

Monday watched the raw of Tenchi Universe ep. 7: Fun and Mayhem at the Carnival!

Comment: Yeah it's Tenchi so that means a lot of dysfunctional fun.

Tuesday ep. 5 of Last Exile subbed, and since I only have 5-8 this is the start of what I have:
Claus and Lavie deliver Al to Alex and the Silvana.

Comment: Sophia always was my favorite character. Except I keep forgetting her name!!!!

Wed. ep. 13 of Madlax: Carrossa and Margaret.

Th. ep. 2 of Gingitsune: Hiwako is introduced.

Friday S 2 Pt. 1 Ep. 2 of Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: Training Camp for Nogi, Minowa and Wasshio.

Saturday ep. 5 of Gasaraki: Miharu and Yushiro meet in combat for the first time.

Sunday ep. 12 of Akame Ga Kill: Both Night Raid and the Jaegers prepare for their eventual meeting.

Comment: The look on Wave's face when he sees Esdeath comforting Seiryu right after he brags to
Kurome that it's a man's job to comfort a grieving girl is worth the entire episodes, that and the look on Tatsumi's face when Chelsea tricks him....

Seriously the series is going to get darker...

Watched the sub of ep. 7 of Pumpkin Scissors on Monday night: As Alice prepares for the Nobles'
ball the rest of the squad investigates missing supplies.

Tuesday watched the sub of ep. 6 of Last Exile: the Silvana is attacked by Guild ships while
Claus, Lavie and Al are still on board.

Wed. saw ep. 14 of Madlax: Madlax falls under the curse of the Edla Taluta spell.

Th. watched ep. 3 of Gingitsune: Makoto and Gintaro help a homeless Turtle Herald find a new home.

Comment: Yumi's love for cats shows up again in this episode.

Friday S 2 pt. 1 ep. 3 of Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: The girls are ordered to take a break from training.

Saturday ep. 6 of Gasaraki: Miharu and Yushiro meet in person for the first time.

Sunday ep. 13 of Akame Ga Kill: Tatsumi is reunited with Esdeath.

Monday watched the raw of ep. 7 of Arpeggio of Blue Steel: The I-401 and her crew arrive at the island of Iwoto to only to be shocked to find that Takao arrived ahead of them.

Comment: I still don't know which one has the more delusional dream: Hyuga or Takao.

Tuesday watched the sub of ep. 7 of Last Exile: Claus and Lavie have their first expierence of air combat.

Wed. watched the dub of ep. 15 of [/b]Madlax[/b]: Madlax learns the truth behind the war and herself when she encounters Laetita.

Th. ep. 4 subbed of Gingitsune: Saotaru and Haru come to live at the Inari shrine.

Friday S 2 pt. 1 ep. 4 of Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: Gin sacrifies herself to protect Wasshio and Nogi who are both badly wounded.

Saturday ep. 7 of Gasaraki: Symbol pulls out all the stops to prevent the Team from returning to Japan with the muscle samples taken from their Fake.

Sunday ep. 14 of Akame Ga Kill: Tatsumi and Esdeath are stranded on a desert island with Gilligan, the Skipper too, the millionaire and his wife, a movie star, the Professor and Maryanne....

Comment: All kidding aside, Esdeath is kinda right when she treats the whole thing like a date; I mean despite being on the cruel side, she is a pretty girl after all, although one whose favorite hobby is something that would make even Torquemada blanch.

Monday watched the raw of ep, 7 of Magic Knight Rayearth: Ferio and Fuu.

Tuesday watched the sub of ep. 8 of Last Exile: Shore Leave at Walker's Point.

Wed. saw ep. 16 of Madlax: Madlax is confronted by Friday Monday.

And now a bit of a skip as I'm missing vol. 5 of the ADV singles.

Friday watched S 2 Pt. 1 Ep. 5 of Yuki Yunna Is A Hero: After Gin's funeral the Taisha comes up with the Mankai System so that no more Heroes will need to die.

Saturday watched ep. 8 of Gasraki: Miharu is assigned to kidnap Yushiro but in the process learns a truth that unsettles both of them.

Sunday watched ep. 15 of Akame Ga Kill: The Avengers AssembleJaegers and Night Raid begin their epic battle.

Comment: Sayru is at her heartless cruel at the start of the episode (no wonder Esdeath is able to get to her as they're a like in some ways).But I think aside from Chelsea for Night Raid the saddest up coming death is Bols on the Jaegers, he's a man with a conscience who knows he's sinned and does everything he can to find redemption for his sins of the past (even though they were ordered and condoned by the Empire), which is why he basically allows Chelsea to kill him, even though he knows he is leaving a wife and young daughter behind who deeply love him.

Sunday I also watched three episodes of Samurai Jack: in one Jack searches for a magic well that may be the way home, but there's a catch; in the second Aku traps Jack in a cemetery surrounded by Zombies and other Ghouls; the final one I watched was from the standpoint of a robot with an emotion chip who has forced to take Jack down after his dog has been dognapped.

Monday the sub of NOIR ep. 3: Their latest mission turns into a trap as Mirielle and Kirika discover they're the real target.

Comment: This is the episode with the popcorn!

Tuesday watched the sub of Cat's Eye S1 ep. 1: Their latest heist pit the sisters against a too clever for himself museum curator.

Wed. saw the dub of ep. 21 of Madlax: The doorway is opened and Corresa goes through it to discover the truth about himself only to disappear in the end.

Th. watched ep. 6 of Gingitsune: The girls hold a welcome party for Satoru.

Yuki Yuna Is A Hero S 2 pt.1 ep. 6 on Friday night: The end of Mimori's back ground story arc.

Comments: 1) The ending shows Washio/Mimori's first meeting with Yuki Yuna from Mimori's POV.
2) It is also revealed that the narrator for the beginning of each ep. in this arc was actually
Nogi and not Washio/Mimori.

Gasaraki ep. 9 on Saturday night: Yushiro starts his quest of self-discovery at the Gowa store house.

Comments: 1) The scene where Yushiro finds the tube with the real Yushiro in it is quite surreal and unsettling.

2) Chris Paton also played Kira in Gundam Seed and Ayato in RahXephon.

Akame Ga Kill ep.16 on Sunday: The battle between the Jaegers and Night Raid heats up.

Comments: 1) Leone biting off the point of Bols' flame thrower was pretty cool.
2) Nadjeda shows she's not just another arm chair general by going after her former colleague and friend.
3) IIRC next episode or so both Chelsea and Bols die, though I think next ep. is Chelsea's back story ep. so probably ep. 18 is when they both die.

Monday didn't watch any anime instead watched S 1 Ep. 3 of The Pretender: In Las Vegas Jared
works as a casino security head to bring down a manager with a dead deadly temper.

Tuesday watched S 1 ep. 2 of Cat's Eye: Cat's Eye is framed for murder.

Madlax ep. 22 on Wed. dubbed and the death of Vanessa.

Gingitsune ep. 7 on Th. subbed, a pair of mischievous monkey heralds play pranks on people to make them happy.

Friday S 2 Pt. 2 Ep. 1 of Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: The Avengers AssembeThe Hero Club reassemble after break with a new member: Nogi, but someone important's missing, where's

Saturday Ep. 10 of Gasaraki: Yushiro and Mahiro are pointed toward Kyoto in their combined search for the truth.

Sunday Ep.17 of Akame Ga Kill: The deaths of Bols and Chelsea.

Comments: 1) The end with Chelsea's head on the pike in the center of the Capitol's square is one of the most traumatic moments I can think of in any anime.
2) Bols was one of the more likeable characters in the Jaegers along with Wave, to the extent that even Chelsea laments having to have killed him.

Monday watched ep. 3 of Blassreiter raw: After the incident at the race track, XAT stakes out Jill's house in hopes of catching Gerd.

Comments: 1) The one thing that drags the series down a bit is the use of CGI early on.
2) Also nice to see Mei Fong before her later descent into douchbagness toward the end.

Tuesday S 1 Ep. 3 of Cat's Eye: When Ai's friend and classmate Kazumi accidentally takes a picture of Hitomi fleeing from a busted heist, the sisters have to come up with a plan to finish the heist while avoiding any other suspicions.

Wed. ep. 23 of Madlax: Madlax and Eleonore go in search of the missing Margaret Burton.

Th. ep. 8 of Gingitsune: Hiwako and her driver.

Friday S 2 pt. 2 ep. 2 of Yuki Yuna Is A Hero: The rest of the Hero Club set out to rescue Mimori.

Comment: The episode ends in an ambiguous way as it appears that the rescue was a success, but the final scene where Yuki gets out of the shower with the emblem of the fire tattooed under her right shoulder makes it questionable whether or not the quest is over or if the entire event after Yuki shatters the glass from the altar is all in her and Mimori's minds.

Saturday ep. 11 of Gasaraki: The fugitives are hunted down by Gowa industires; meanwhile the rest of the TA team is sent to recover a rogue TA and its pilot.

Sunday ep. 18 of Akame Ga Kill: Night Raid vs. The Four Demons.

K'on! S 1 ep. 3 on Monday subbed: The rest of the girls have to help Yui study for her retest or the Light Music Club will be no more.

Cat's Eye S1 ep. 4 on Tuesday subbed: Cat's Eye vs. The Bride of Lupin.

Comment: This is the episode that establishes the name of the sisters' father: Michael Heinz.
Their mother's name has yet to be revealed, but supposedly they use her maiden name.

Wed. ep. 24 dubbed of Madlax: After finally finding Margaret and being able to remind her who she is, Eleonore dies from her wounds.

Th. ep. 9 of Gingitsune: The neighbor kids end up wrecking the shrine when Gintaro and Haru are left alone.

Yuki Yuna Is A Hero S 2 pt. 2 ep. 3 on Friday: Christmas time but Yuki can't tell the rest of the Hero Club what really happened when she freed Mimori from the Fire Altar as each time she does something bad happens.

Gasarki Ep. 12 on Saturday: Yushiko volunteers to go after the rogue pilot and TA but only after he's told the truth about who and what he really is.

Comment: When his older half brother tells him he's a kai, I wonder how many people's minds automatically went to Dragonball Z.

Akami Ga Kill Ep. 19 on Sunday: Mime vs. Seryu.

Comment: It's interesting how much the Jaegers and Night Raid are so much alike; if but for the Grace of God Seryu or Wave (for example)might have been members of Night Raid or (not counting Tatsumi) anyone in Night Raid could've been a member of the Jaegers.
