Apparently Discotek has most of the prelims on KOR done and it should be some time in early
2019 when the set comes out. It's going to be the entire series except for movie 2. From what I read it's because the second movie was originally licensed by ADV while the rest were Animeigo.

Friday re-watched episode 6 of Pumpkin Scissors, Olan fines a disgarded baby and Alice has the squad look for the mother. Plus our favorite female Sergeant Major gets all maternal.

Saturday Mardock Scramble:The First Exhaust didn't remember that Megumi Hayasbari played Rune Balon in the original but Hilary Haag does a good job in the dub. Movie 2 this Saturday.

Sunday episode 14 of Tenjho Tenge so Bunshici was playing with Shin it turns out,basically he wanted him to attack him with the katana. Flashback to before Shin got the Dragon Eye when he and
Maya were kids. A lot of behind the scenes stuff revealing someone manipulating the events.

Monday re-watched the Aeon Flux movie with Charlize Theron. Didn't realize Jonny Lee Miller was in it too until the end credits. Fun action movie with some really cool FX work.

Tuesday episode 6 of Soul Link Caelleria finally reveals her true colors but not before she has the Terrorists send a false message to the Cadets showing her being raped/tortured as part of her act.
Shushei, who has started to get visions of the possible future where he kills everyone, volunteers for a one man rescue mission knowing he won't be back.
Later he confronts Yuu in the presence of Ryouto and she confesses that she is a mercenary working for another faction of the same group. Her mission is to work in any way to interfere and interrupt whatever plans are going on by the Terrorists; even helping them if that helps her overall agenda.
Before leaving Shushei has a romantic last night with Nao,who he gives an engagement ring to..

Fun fact: the seiyuu who plays Caelleria really gets into it when she does the preview for episode 7, really hamming it up and even using a patented villainess laugh: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
In short after learning her character was going to turn out to be the big bad it sounds like she let go and decided to just have a blast.

That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime / Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken
ep. 5
After saving the dwarves our slime gets insulted by the prime minister who gets punched by the dwarf. Hence, they got before the hero king and are banished.
The anime is slightly better than the manga. I suppose the manga got abridged too much while the anime drew strenght from animation.
ep. 6
The legendary hero, Shizu, appears! Despite the years she had not aged one bit. And obviously has secrets.
ep.7
Ifrit, the flame spirit, runs rampant and takes over the hero's body and setting everything in flames. This results in a battle with our slime.
Next episode: Shizu's passing

Goblin Slayer ep.3-6
They skipped the battle for the village and jumped right to the next main boss fight. And it ended in reasonable time  of one episode. Not happy about the cuts but satisfied about the pace.
Goblin Slayer and his new party friends are requested by the arch-bishop, the legendary sword maiden, to clean out her city from goblin infestations, since neither the army nor the security bother with it.
A long fight to the death begins for the gang in the depths of the sewers! The goblins are no ordinary ones either.
The next episode should be interesting but I expect some cuts ahead..

Wed. re-watched episode 6 of Wizard Barristers Cecile ends up getting held as hostage with a group of school kids. This was interesting since it shows the Butterfly staff's regular Saturday routine when they're not in the office.
In the end it turns out the hostage takers were hired to get Cecile to release more of her power and then Quinn's partner kills them so they won't tell. After accessing the situation she has him hand over his side arm.

Th. episode 4 of Squid Girl Squiddie gets ten thousand yen and immediately buys a ton of shrimp; after the siblings leave for the night Squiddie gets lonely,Chizuru decides she can stay with them as long as the tv at the cafe is broken; a competitor comes up with a fake Squid Girl to outdo the Lemon House and the real Squid Girl.

Goblin Slayer ep.7
In this episode please stop ogling the Sword Maiden and focus!
Our gang is unknowingly let into a death trap! Another battle to the death.
Again the wrapping up and pacing of the show is really good. But I already feel sad it's obviously gonna end too soon.

Friday episode 7 of Pumpkin Scissors Alice is forced to go to a party by her older sisters while the rest of the squad investigate an anonymous tip. It turns out that a local noble has heard rumors of mobs attacking nobles and so has hoarded all the supplies; also an anonymous donor has given him automatic firearms that backfire and jam. Later it's revealed that Alice's fiance Lionel is behind the tip.

Saturday movie 2 of Mardock Scramble After visiting "Paradise" Rune learns where Shell's memories are hidden and they head to the casino where the memory chips are. There she meets a roulette dealer who teaches her a lesson about life.

Sunday episode 15 of Tenjho Tenge the flashback nears it's end as Yatakanagi is slowly awakened to his own power and Shin is dropped from the Yatakanagi case files. Later he invites Yatakanagi to a "graduation ceremony" by himself. The two meet and race to the docks on their bikes.

Next episode looks to return to the present.

That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime / Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken ep.8
This episode is about Shizu's passing and how our slime Rimuru inherits her will.

It's different from the novel or manga in that there's a whole new back story where she meets the hero (of her time).
From the novel and manga you would always guess that Shizu might be the one who sealed Veldora and or some other prominent villain. But here it seems to be Shizu's hero. And it's the hero who gave her the mask or passed it to her. We are also left wondering about the hero's disappearance which may imply she, too, had the same fate as Shizu.
And that's how Shizu started to become the champion (hero). Note: Title terms and their differences are important in this universe.* Shizu got downgraded here probably because they changed their minds about her, since, she was bound to a demon lord to begin with. Heores fight & defeat demon lords. Therefore, we got this extra new backstory, hence, the difference to novel and manga.

As Ilfrit was the source of sustaining her longevity, with the separation she feels her life slipping away and asks Rimuru to devour her so she can rest peacefully inside him (and see his and her past life once again in his inner mental dream world). And so she finally returns home. That's how he inherits her will and form. And so it begins.

Note*: In ep.7 Shizu was called by the title of "eiju", and here she confirms by saying people calling her that. Yet, she calls the hero with the "yuusha" title. Eiju is usually a higher rank than yuusha, hence, often translated as legendary hero but it's not limited to a fighting hero could also be a great leader. The differentiation in the translation is literary and politically wise significant and apt as far as the story goes but it's truly confusing.

Re-watched Celestial Method on Monday. The episode I chose was the one where the girls go to the hot springs in two separate groups. Shione takes Noel after winning the raffle and Yuzuki, Koharu and Nonoka go together with Koharu treating the other two with passes she got at her family's store.
Shione and Noel miss meeting the other three by chance--they get off the elevator after Yuzuki and Nonoka leave for example--Yuzuki wants to use the time to apologize for slapping Nonoka and when she does Nonoka refuses to slap her back. Meanwhile Sota is stuck subbing for Koharu at her store.

Tuesday episode 7 of Soul Link Gale (the Terrorist leader) and Aya are on the run from Caelleria's zombies; Nao is infected but Ryouta who has been newly elected leader decides to treat her like nothing happened; Morimoto, Sayaka and Ryouta go to the pantry to get more food supplies and find Kuu, the station's dog mascot and a young mysterious girl named Nanami.
Shuhei confronts Caelleria and the others are able to hear their conversation since he has it on his comm. Karen manages to get one of the work shuttles going and flies it to where the cadets,Morimoto and Yuu are..

episode 7 of Wizard Barristers Wednesday. The Butterfly Law Firm goes to Boston. Later Cecile and Natsune go to Canada to visit Cecile's dad. Natsune at first complains since being the only one who has an international license she's stuck driving Cecile. However after the pick up a hitchhiker and they tell each other they're backgrounds, Natsune begins to melt a bit.

They end up at a roadside diner that is attacked by an escaped con but the two guys from the rival firm "just happen to show up" to help them out.

er...How come we see a "Welcome To Canada" sign but no actual border crossing with actual border guards?

Th. Squid Girl S1 ep. 5 in the first part we meet the sexy blonde bikini clad scientist
Cindy Campbell who thinks Squiddie is an alien; the second one Squiddie follows Eiko to school and causes all sorts of mischief;the third installment is totally out of the norm as it's basically a silent where we meet the character of Mini-Squid Girl for the first time. The spell is broken though in the end when it's shown to be a dream that Sanae had.

Goblin Slayer ep.8
Another skillfully abridged episode.
A little look at Goblin Slayer's past. Despite the looks his master is not a goblin but a hobbit-like race. The novel/manga is going into this kind of late despite dropping the name early on.
After waking up from last episode's disastrous wounds he finds the Sword Maiden who goes a bit into her past and kind of pleads him to save her from her nightmare...
The gang faces off and (typical) Evil Eye monster and defeats it.

Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai / Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai
One day a bunny girl show up in front of Azusagawa Sakuta. Sakuta's life starts to get messed up when he gets involved in adolescent paranormal phenomenons (again).
This show is a different version of all the scifi/science-detective shows in that it leans towards social issues of adolescent and kind of paranormal yet looks for scientific explanations.
Recommended.

Friday watched the dub of episode 8 of Pumpkin Scissors the squad is ambushed by bandits while the way to much needed serum to an isolated mountain village. The irony here is the village happens to be the home town of the bandit leader who wishes them luck after learning what the mission is.

Saturday the final movie of the Mardock Scramble trilogy. Rune is able to win the chips containing Shell's memories. Later while diving into the memories she discovers the awful truth about Shell: he himself was sexually abused by his mother. After the trial is wrapt up and Shell is sentenced Rune confronts Boiled one last time..

Sunday Tenjho Tenge episode 16, with Maya's story wrapt up the Juken club returns to school. There Maya as the team's Captain faces the conaequences of her earlier actions. She accepts expulsion from school at the end of term. Meanwhile back at the house she discovers that their brother's sword has been taken by Aya who appears to be after vengeance..

Monday watched the dub of episode 3 of Season 1 of K'ON! Everyone passes midterms except Yui so she's banned from club activities for the rest of the time until she passes the make up. In the mean time her efforts to study go south and finally Mio suggests a study group. The rest of the girls are surprised by how different and mature Ui is compared to her older sister.
Ritsu gets bored and Mio bans her from Yui's room; in the end Yui winds up with a 100 on her make up!

Tuesday episode 8 of Soul Link Karen reveals to Ryouta and the others what happened when Shuehei arrived on the other side of the Aries. Aya and Gale are still trying to escape the Scylla swarm. There's a scene where Aya gets stuck in a vent and Gale has to pull her out.
Karen tells Yuu that Shin is with Calleria in Control Room 1. Both Sayaka and Yuu want to go; Sayaka to rescue Aya but Ryouta makes the sensible decision to stop her with Miromoto's help. He then tells Yuu to come back even if she comes alone.

Goblin Slayer ep.9-10
ep.9 Another well made abridged fight to the death episode. I was hopping it would reveal some more background information but it's the same as the manga. So there's still this suspicion the sword maiden might have committed the crime to force a hunt for the goblins or as in the manga a semi hint toward the remnants of the demon lord's followers committed it for e.g. sacrificial rituals.
ep.10 This one is different. The festival and relationship issue is replaced by the celebration for the demon lord subjugation victory. The hero party trio looks and feels similar to those from one or more different series. Anyhow, the episode ties or loops back to the beginning of the village battle. Next time big battle!!

Sword Art Online - Alicization ep.10

for mature audiences only but feels very much low level to me
It's been slow and you only need the first 2 or 3 episode and skip to here. Honestly, it could just have been condensed into 4 episodes.... if it were some random show I would have ditched it after one episode.
Anyhow, in the virtual AI world, after rejoining his "childhood" Eugeo and solving his job, they went to the capital to become knights. A conflict with the noble cadets results in them abusing their female pages. As a result Kirito and Eugeo's female pages go to them to plead...

I only have the last two episodes left of both Soul Link and Wizard Barristers.On the former the character that I found to be the most quietly impactful was Mirimoto. I don't think the Cadets but especially Ryouta would have been able to have survived as long as they have without his keen knowledge of the station as well as his steadfast and quiet reassurance when things started getting really bad.
On Wizard Barristers it's hard to not like Moyo in either version even though once you find out her secret it makes her a bit creepy.
I'm also at the half way point in Pumpkin Scissors and nearing the end of Tenjho Tenge.
A couple weeks ago I also started Akikan Who'd thought a melon soda can would be such a tsundere as a girl?

Goblin Slayer ep.10.5
Recap episode. I suppose they needed more time for the computer mass CG rendering of the coming battle.

Sword Art Online - Alicization ep.11
Eugeo and Kirito are handed over to an integrity knight who's obviously Alice but she doesn't recognize Eugeo.
Kirito surmises she's been brain washed so they escape from prison and try to get down to the matter.
However, on their way another integrity knight awaits them (as ordered by Alice who anticipated this impossibility).
Still disappointing slow paced.

Friday episode 11 of Pumpkin Scissors part 1 of a 2 parter: Alice is kidnapped by an anti-government group that wants to publish a manifesto written by a dead journalist that has information regarding the government conspiracy concerning The Invisible Nine. Meanwhile the scientist who helped to develop the anti-tank gun gets a visitor and is murdered.

Saturday episode 3 of Akikan Melon and Kakeru meet Budoko who challenges Melon to a duel. It turns out to be rather pathetic at first until Budoko gets serious by drinking some grape soda and powering up...Later Kakeru and Melon have an argument and Kakeru winds up at Najimi's with Yuyurin and Jigoro (NOT the KOR cat! )Najimi gets drunk off the soda and goes to get some more. When she does she unexpectedly releases Yell who claims her as her owner freaking
Najimi out!

Sunday episode 18 of Tenjho Tenge Bunichi tells Bob and the others some more of the background that Maya left out including the formation of the Juken Club.

Monday watched the dub of episode 4 of Giant Robo. A reminder of why it's one of the greatest anime of all time. Also need to re-watch it over again in its entirety. Gin Rei one of the greatest anime heroines of all time.

Tuesday episode 11 of Soul Link and now only the finale remains as the Cadets make ready to
leave the station and Cellaria launches her final offensive against them. Aya and Sayaka are finally reunited but Gale dies protecting the former. This leads Karen to go off on her own quest for vengeance as the final troop of Scylla Zombies are sent off to attack. Nanami goes off to confront Cellaria on her own..

Wed. episode 11 of Wizard Barristers Cecile is finally caught and the ritual begins that will merge her with Lucifer. But the Chief Justice is shocked when Lucifer rejects his bid to be granted Lucifer's power. Cecile is saved just before the merger is completed and confronts the Chief Justice is battle; afterwards she is surprised and shocked to learn he asks for her to be his defense counsel.
Note: in this episode Moyo reveals a bit of her true form as Lucifer.

Th. episode 9 of Squid Girl Squiddie makes a new friend in Kiyomi; she learns about make up; then the "Three Stooges" piss Chizuru up when their latest invention makes the Lemon Beach House disappear.

Friday episode 12 of Pumpkin Scissors the conspiracy claims another victim in the form of the reporter who was tracking the story of the "Invisible Nine".


Saturday episode 4 of Akikan Yell and Melon meet for the first time.


Sunday episode 20 of Tenjho Tenge The Tournament starts but not everyone's playing fair as Maya soon discovers.


Monday episode 4 of Chobits Chi and Sumomo go shopping for panties.


Tuesday episode 12 of Soul Link Nanami defeats Cellaria; Morimoto reveals he is really Sayaka's father.

Goblin Slayer ep.11
This episode has the scene where Goblin Slayer asks guild members to help him defend the farm. After pointing out that they are adventurers who only take requests with rewards he virtually offers himself which surprised everyone. The guild master approves a headhunting award of one gold piece a head. (going by money system that's a lot)
Simplified/shorten battle as in the manga. Next: boss battle

Sword Art Online - Alicization ep.11
Kirito and Eugeo nearly undone the knights brainwashing by recalling all they know about his past when another one appears and forces them to run. They are saved by the sage through her secret portal. It turns out she's actually the "game" cardinal system's supervisor who's now isolated (and on the run). She reveals that one of the original AI children was in fact a mischievous & ambitious being who gave birth to all the nobility and ruler's blood line. One such evil member gained by research access to the command system and established the taboo index to prevent others from getting more powerful than her, hence, usurping her power. She gained access to the cardinal system's core and unexpectedly merged with it gaining eternal life but lost her human side in the process. This new her enforces the status quo of the taboo index due to the system's mission to keep order.

Saint Seiya - Saintia Shou ep1-3
With this series the female saints are introduced as direct bodyguards to Athena while the men are under the command of another holy man.
Shoko has been born and destined to serve as the vessel to resurrect the evil god Eris who had been sealed in a golden apple by Athena. Young Shoko is enticed to touch the apple when Scorpio Milo appears and drives the evil minion away. When about to kill Shoko her big sister, Kyoko, begs for her life and swears to protect Shoko.
Years, later Shoko is discovered and attacked again. This time the long gone Kyoko appears as Pegasus Knight and drives the attack away. Saori (Athena) and Mii (female Saint ?) welcomes both to their abode for protection.
In another attack at night Kyoko sacrificed herself to save Shoko and is captured/became the vessel for Eris.
Shoko swears to become stronger save her oneechan. Saori send her to Mayura for training. Mayura traps Shoko with her power which Shoko can only break free from if she can beat the evil power within (her destiny). Shoko with guts and all burns with her cosmo and blast away her trap.
Kyoko has been placed under the sacred tree of Eden to nurish/mature into Eris while Eris children (Emony, Phonos, & a Dryad) guard her. Deciding to take Athena's head as present for Eris awakening she's attacked. Although, not quite ready but powerful Shoko is "send" to help by the intervention of the pegasus armor. She's beaten when Phonos appears. Then Saori and Shoko combine their powers and save the day.
Not quite like it but according to others the best newer series of all of the reboots. And yes it's closer to the original.

Wed. episode 12 finale of Wizard Barristers the Chief Justice reneges on his promise and commits perjury during his impeachment to implicate Cecile. Fortunately Ageha and her brother bring an unexpected witness in who verifies everything Cecile has uncovered.
The Chief Justice is then condemned to prison but not without a fight.

Later during a sleepover with the rest of the female staff of the Butterfly Law Firm Cecile asks Moyo about what she really is and Moyo begins to tell her..


Thursday episode 11 of Squid Girl on a rainy day Squiddie's artistic talents come out; Sanae is banned from being near Squiddie until she can learn to be less annoying; Kiyomi's team needs a replacement for their baseball game and Squiddie joins in..


Looks like NieA- 7 is on the way.

Fri. episode 13 of Pumpkin Scissors Martis becomes the unexpected escort for a young princess from the neighboring country of Rotelia who comes on a diplomatic mission but is more interested in finding a certain "hot dog" cart.


Sat. episode 5 of Akikan Kakeru and Melon learn of the presence of another Akikan owner in school ( not knowing it's Najimi) and try to come up with ways to out their Akikan so they can discover who it is. Najimi accidentally sees them at a local amusement park and think they're on a date and tells Yell to: "Teach Kakeru a lesson."


Sun. episode 21 of Tenjho Tenge Foo uses Maya to force Shin to release his full power but it backfires on him as Shin literally tears him apart.Mitsoumi trying to stop Shin lands in the hospital; later Shin attacks him when he's working on his motorcycle.

Monday re-watched episode 3 of School Live this time dubbed. I chose this episode since it was the one that centers around the back story to the series. Once again like on RahXephon the characters have the same problems with pronouncing the name Megumi. Even Megumi's VA has the problem. Other than that it was fun. Scariest part though is when at the end they show Megumi patrolling the halls with her flashlight at night. Too bad the girls didn't find the antidote in time to save her as well as Kurumi.


Tuesday episode 13 of The Pet Girl since I only have part 2 this was jumping in at the middle of things. Sorota has to keep Shina working on her manuscript for her editor. Misaki wants Sorota and Aoyama to help her with getting Jin's attention. Aoyama gives Sorota tickets to a play; and finally Shina herself wants to learn to cook. This was loads of fun to watch...too bad part one wasn't available when I got around to ordering.

Wed. episode 1 of Gasaraki Yushiro is involved in a simulation. Later he begins the Kai dance to bring down the power of Gasarki. In the middle of his trance Miharu appears and begins to fight him.
As her Noh mask breaks she tells him " Do not call the Horror down." This startles him out of his trance and he stops the dance and orders the power back.

Meanwhile it has been learned that an American spy satellite has been shot down over the Mideast.The story is about to begin...


Th. episode 11 of Squid Girl: Squiddie is scared by Eiko's old doll; Cindy and the Three Stooges (tm) think Chizuru is the alien; Squiddie and the Aizawas take a hike up the nearby mountain but Squiddie gets pissed when she learns they could've taken the tram.

Friday episode 14 of Pumpkin Scissors While trying to re-locate civilians living among the water works the squad discovers an illicit drug trade being carried out by the water works employees. Later while patrolling the water works they are ambushed by the workers, but worse follows as they encounter a giant wearing a fire proof suit with a flame thrower...


Saturday episode 6 of Akikan Melon challenges Yell. Najimi goes to visit Kakeru and he tells her that Melon is as important to him as she is. They go off to stop the fight and arrive just in time.Kakreu is still hurt though and when Melon rushes to embrace him she causes him to flinch in pain. Kakeru explains that he wants Yell and Melon to be friends. Otoya and Kizaki comment on the situation with Kizaki thinking it will be hard to get Melon and Yell to fight each other but Otoya says that it's just begun.

The ending shows everyone getting ready for school with Melon and Kakeru late because he overslept.Yell watches on the rooftop with the cat...


Sunday episode 22 of Tenjho Tenge The tournament continues with only Bunischi and the Big Mouth left to represent the Juken Club. After Bunshichi defeats a girls' team he is taunted by a new team made up of the top seeded martial artists in the school. At the time of the Tournament Finale it looks like it will be 5 vs. 2 and then Mitsoumi walks in. He takes care of the other team within 3 minutes winning it for the Juken Club.

Foo has recovered and gets some knives to replace his hands. He brags that the first thing he'll do is take care of Shin's younger sister.Unfortunately for him Shin himself is lurking in the hallway and kills him and his body guards.

Later Shin warns Maya that he'll kill any who come between them. Mitsoumi visits and Shin lurks in the background about to use the sword when Maya warns Mitsoumi off...
