An interesting though just came to mind while reading on how greenpeace was collecting air pollution data: riding a bike through the cities taking measures via sensors on a trailer. The thing is the biker didn't wear a mask! Where's their caution or should I say they don't have workplace safety?

Frankly, the order already given out and the advanced parties have been send at least a week before. Heh. More surprising imho, even though they'll send 6 recon Tornado fighters, one frigate and 1+ tankers it amounts to 1200 men. Discounting the frigate it's still about 1100 men for a handfull of aircrafts. That's quite some support overhead.

I guess having a ton of the '90s comic in my comic book collection didn't hurt any(and being a bit of a DC fan doesn't either).

So they had another interesting twist on Agents of SHIELD yesterday. This time it turned out that William was really the creature Hydra had been looking for(he killed the real one when Gemma
came through the portal). Fitz gets another chance at being a badass when he kills it. And looks like
Coulson finally gets a bit of revenge on Ward.
Plus May gets to be temporarily in charge for a few minutes.

I need to get started on my Christmas shopping and hope to get it done in the next week.

Finally got around to watching iZombie, not bad. Extra plus because it's set in Seattle.

Read up on Christmas in the Colonies and it was interesting to see how different things were in different
parts, for example in New England it was banned outright for being overly "Popish", "Pagan" and
"UnBiblical"( showing how ahistorical Bill O'Reilly's War On Christmas (tm) schtick actually is!)
while in the South they tended to try to celebrate it the way they thought it was traditionally down in
Old England.

And speaking of O'Reilly: apparently he was one of the celebrities that will appear on the new season of Finding Your Roots. He claimes that Dr. Gates discovered that he and Bill Maher were cousins!

As predicted J.J Abrams' crap is perfect for Star Wars. Imho crap doesn't work with Star Trek but for such a simple 12 year old fantasy anything goes.

Like a lot of people Jar Jar Binks killed my enthusasism for Star Wars. Seriously, that was the worst decision since, i don't know ,the entire Ewok thing or else the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special. Not even Spock's Brain was that terrible an idea!

I think it would had been better if they had made a movie series around the X Wing Squadron
comics. I mean Wedge Antilles was one of the best side characters in the whole original trilogy so he ought to have gotten his day in the sun. Besides doing a movie trilogy around the fighter squadron he and Luke were part of would've made it more interesting.

Plus we could've seen some interesting perspective from the former Tie pilots in the squadron who had defected( yes I know Finn in the new movie is an ex-Storm Trooper but not the same).

I have one of the comics in my collection and it's pretty good. Probably one of the best of the lot.

You should look at the novels and the table top/board games. There's a huge amount regarding rebel & X-Wing/Tie suadrons. So many I lost track. There's about 130++ RPG table top books...That's why people where unhappy about Disney throwing them all overboard (only to copy the ideas). For example the X-Wing: Rogue Squadron.

Yeah, I would've loved it if they had gone more in the direction of the comics and original novels like
Splinter In The Mind's Eye. I'd even love a series based on the exploits of Mara Jade everyone's

Today the Washington Post had to retract a cartoon of Senator Cruz because it showed his daughters as monkeys dancing around. The cartoonist wouldn't apologize even though it was beyond the Pale. One thing it did was it united the Republicans behind Cruz.

There's really a lot of natural disaster, tornado etc. this winter. I have been wondering for quite a while if it's due to the tilting from the Great Earthquake (Fukushima) [why they always name it like that...]. Then again I think it's more likely due to the "cheap" oil the last few years. Also note the increase in smoke in large cities and the increase in attempting to forbid or restrict automobile traffic.

We've had adventures in Electric Power today. It kept coming on and off earlier and hopefully it stays on permenantly now. When I paid the bill at PUD they said that it's all over. Some transformers blew, some
lines are on the ground, etc. They were pretty busy on the phones when I came in.
Also the ATM at the bank wasn't working well since yesterday so the Teller told me they had a man
coming in to look at it.

And tried to get on three or four time yesterday to the forum but it seems they must've been working on the server or something as I kept getting that it couldn't connect.

It seems ATM and the like scamming is decreasing due to better security. Although, lots of new weaknesses have been revealed on other type of transfers.
This winter my parents bought lots of candles that smelled. They left them burning all day and they didn't bother to air regularly. I got a headache just after entering the living room. @.@ There was probably excessive monoxide leading to minor poisoning. Well, it's cold outside so I had to air every few hours instead of leaving the windows slightly open.

I didn't have that problem here but elsewhere my e-mails bounced due to various server problems. I couldn't access some of the alternate accounts, too.

My dad has problems with scented candles. He can't go into a shop that sells anything like them because
it causes him to sneeze.

Yeah, if you are going to have candles lit inside for a long while you really need to have some form of
ventilation.

Well next week I start my '16 collection with sending in my order for Angelic Layer and also
my Got Anime renewal.

My friend in Georgia says I should check out the new season of Doctor Who, we have the first DVD in the library so plan to check it out soon. I hope it's better than the Matt Smith version.
