Almael wrote:That's it. Yeah, it's perverse but that was intended. Maybe this stems from strange british humour. I like Red Dwarf, Mr. Bean and all but the rest is just dunno..
I won't deny its humor, it was a decent show.
It had that 'Tripping the Rift' feel to it.

Also, some of the episodes were just plain funny.

Finished up 'Avatar: The Last Airbender'.
Pretty good for a cartoon, though the blind jokes were a little taxing.
Thought the ending was very nice.

Not sure what I'm going to start next.
There's a few live-action movies I want to finish and I have a few cartoon series I'd like to watch.
Though, I'll probability just watch 'Escaflowne' sometime soon.
It's been over a year since I've watched it.

Escaflowne is always good to see.
Now that I got paid I plan on finally...and I do mean FINALLY! get around to ordering Nanoha. But won't being doing that until after Memorial Day is over with.I hate ordering anything when there's a holiday coming up.
Re-watched MahoRomatic S2 vol.1 ep.1 "Return of the Maid" yesterday night. Then since I noticed Michelle Ruff was in the English Dub I,of course, had to look it up on Wikie today to see which part she played.
Turns out she plays Miyuki the blue haired class mate of Suguru who has a secret crush on him. Also Wendee Lee played the pervie female teacher who's always trying to seduce Suguru.A change from the sweet and innocent Mitsuki Rara on Dual. Oh and Mahoro herself is played by none other than the seiyuu who played our beloved Lafiel! The Ubiquitous What Are You Watching Thread? - Page 10 Icon_cheers
As far as it goes I think I might another round with Devil Lady when I finish Trinity Blood on Friday.Either Devil Lady or Elfen Lied vol.4 again.

It's not that I disliked Lexx, it just was ...well, maybe less serious later on.
The 'punishment' in the beginning which made the obese girl thin was amusing.
Also the warsong was a highlight (earworm):

Elfen Lied is good for to staying up a night.

Btw. about Hayate the Combat Buttler 2nd Season is it the continuation of the 51 episodes?
I have read/seen other similar cought-in-debt stories so it wasn't as funny, but I was surprised about the ***dam censorship in both manga & anime. IMHO it's more sacarsm than funny stories. (Tokyo Paradise!)

    Finished up 'Fairy Florence'.
Great to look at, nice music selection, but the DUB is total shit and the script felt condescending.

I'm watching the 'Familiar of Zero' now.
The DUB is what I expected...okay-ish.

I don't know about Season 2 of Hayate as I have been in vol.2 or part 2(whatever you want to call it)of Season 1.Yesterday they had Hayate go back to his high school to find out his delinquient parents
of course took out the tuition money he had paid and so of course he was no longer enrolled.(Is disenrolled really a word? The Ubiquitous What Are You Watching Thread? - Page 10 Icon_scratch )Then came the part where Nishizawa and Nagi clash over Hayate and
Nishizawa whines because:"...my backer's a HAMSTER?!" The Ubiquitous What Are You Watching Thread? - Page 10 Lol
    Oh well!
I pretty much decided to re- watch Devil Lady starting next week.
I only have vol.4 of Elfen Lied any way so I can get that watched after Devil Lady.I really need to get more horror.

I need to watch that 100+eps series at some point.

Well since I switched avvies at Alternative Worlds Forum I thought I do the same here.Though I still have Asuka. lol!

Now as far as it goes I am now 2 episodes away from finishing
    Bubblegum Crisis:Tokyo 2040 and starting Outlaw Star.Of course since I have only vol.6 of Bubblegum Crisis:Tokyo 2040
I didn't have that much to go through.
After seeing both vol.3 of Bubblegum Crisis:Tokyo 2032 and
vol.6 of Bubblegum Crisis:Tokyo 2040 I still say Priss is pretty much one of the coolest characters. Cool

    More Gundam 00 tonight.I think it's season 2.Time for
    Psycho-Louise!!!! lol!

The more I watch 00 the better I like Wing and Seed.

On the non-anime front House returns for the new season tonight and the new version of Hawaii 5-0 begins on CBS.

ep. 15 of Wedding Peach on Wed.Interesting the way Lily and Daisy each expierenced Peach betraying them in their delusions. With Lily it was more personal, having Momoko steal her boyfriend and with
Daisy it was a bit more primitive,Momoko kills Lily and declares she's working with the Devils.
Yesterday I finished Banner II with the Birth OVA.

Ep.17 of Wedding Peach on Wed.This introduces the new team of Devils. What's rather interesting is the way that Sandra selected not one but three different Devil Girls to be his agents versus the Love Angels.(and why the heck did they give a guy a girl's name like Sandra?)Of note is the fact that
Yokoyama Chisa plays Blitz while Honda Cheiko plays Noiizu.I also like it that they have to actually WORK TOGETHER as a team.Looks like Sandra is more of a thinker than Pluie. At least he tries a more subtle approach, whereas Pluie was a lot more upfront in his attacks.
Ep.15 of Trigun on Thursday.Legato is one cool villian.I really like the line of dialogue between Vash and Desdemona The Cyclops(though I think I got it a bit wrong when I was qouting it at Alternative Worlds.I think the correct line is:
Desdemona:"There are exactly five times just now that I could have easily killed you."
Vash:"There are exactly three times just now that I could have easily groped you.")

Muv Luv Alternative Total Eclipse ep3
After two long intro eps we finally get to the real story.
It's 2001 the last year before alternative V is activated..
Yui finally gets to the Yukon Base....but we see Tarisa "Chobi" and the scarlet twins clash nearly killing Ensign Yuuya Bridges transport flight. Chobi is obviously a reference to Koihime Musou.
I still think this east-west duality is outdated in the Muv Luv universe.

Yea, i checked Total Eclipse. Was kinda "oh my, girls and robots again", but seeing how cruel story is to it's characters made it feel like some of those old school sci-fi anime... and it got my attention.
