Monday watched the raw of the first episode of Suzuka.

Tuesday episode 12 of Umi Monogatari the series finale and now only the OVA to watch and then on to the dub of Himouto Umaru-chan.

Also finally got my shipping confirmation from Rightstuf. Holidays are always the hardest to wait for orders because of backlog.

Wednesday saw episode 23 of KOR,Kyosuke and Madoka in a school marathon race.

Thursday episode 6 of Utena, Nanami is being targeted by an unknown assailant.
This is the one with the boxing kangaroo, the elephants come in episode 8, IIRC.

Friday episode 25 of Inukami after Kaoru apparently dies Nadeshiko looses it and calls down the power she had hidden to go attack Jasei. Unfortunately he gains the upper hand by absorbing her powers. But the rest of Kaoru's Inukami and Yoko continue to fight.

Saturday episode 8 of Ikki-tousen the hot springs episode: Goei takes Konkin and Hakufu to a mountain hot springs where they encounter Ryofou and Ryomou also arrives; Ukitsa is instructed by Goei's old sensei to do anything she can to get Hakufu's dragon to manifest as he believes it's the only way that Hakufu can avoid her fate.

Sunday episodes 7 & 8 of RWBY season 5. Ozpin agrees not to keep anything secret as Yang and Weiss agree to remain with the others; Blake and Sun fight off the White Fang as the group attacks Blake's parents.
So this is why Blake and Sun are going to end up at Mistral with the others.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes - Die Neue These (Sairan) ep. 22
In this episode we see how misled the nobles are and their downfall before Lohengram.
We also see some details about Siegfried and his relationship to the Lohengram siblings.
Next episode you can bet is Siegfried's end.

Tuesday the OVA of Umi Monogatari listed as Episode 13. A year later and Kanon returns from college to the island, she's decided to study oceanography; in the sea Marin, Urin and the others have started a Festival of their own. When Urin finds a lost dugong they go search for it's mother. In the meanwhile Kanon and Kojima have found the mother. After freeing it Kanon sees a flash of light and knows it's Marin and waves in the general direction.

Wed. episode 24 of KOR introducing Kazuya, the Kasuga's annoying psychic brat of a cousin. He winds up getting Kyosuke into even more trouble after he reads his mind and tells Hikaru that he likes Madoka better than her. Than he tries to repair the damage.

Th. episode 7 of Utena this episode centers around Jury and her unrequited love for another girl.
So what would she have done if she'd won the duel and got Anthy?

Friday episode 26 the finale of Inukami and now only the movie remains to be watched before switching to Omamori Himari. Interesting the way that the attitude of Kaoru's Inakmi pack has changed toward Keita and Yoko over the course of the series. This is especially true of Sendan who in the last several episodes has finally shown her true leadership capability.

Saturday episode 10 of Ikki-tousen After the Hot Springs we have a Pool episode. Ukitsu is sent to unleash Hakufu's Dragon, is this because the historical Ukitsu was the one who killed the historical Hakufu? (I'm guessing each time they mention the name of a character in the context of the person they're supposed to be the incarnation of the said person is supposedly an actual historical person.)

Sunday episodes 9 & 10 of Season 5 of RWBY, Raven makes a pragmatic pact with Cinder; the Belladonna family survives the coup attempt by the White Fang. There's a real moment of grace here when Blake forgives Ilia for having sided with the coup.
I also saw the Weiss character minisode.

Monday watched the dub of episodes 15 & 16 of Neo-Ranga: someone steals Ushio's bikini; the hometown of the sisters' mother throws and Neo-Ranga festival.

Tuesday episode 1 of Himouto! Umaru-chan dubbed: Umaru's life with her brother.

Wed. episode 25 KOR, Kyosuke accidentally self-hypnotizes himself into being a jerk after his sisters tell him how girls don't like guys who are indecisive like he is.

Th. episode 8 of Utena, the "Elephants chasing Nanami" episode, also Utena and Anthy accidentally switch bodies.

Sent in my order for Those Who Hunt Elves today, since I couldn't print out a mail in order form I had to trace over one to create one of my own. Hope it works.

Fri. watched the Inukami movie to end the series. Karina seemingly dies and of all sudden a mysterious Section K appears whose soul purpose is to arrest and re-educate perverts. There's a Death Note easter egg in it as Igusa claims she killed Karina with her "Dead Note" also one of the pervs is dressed as a certain Haruhi Suzumiya.

Sat. episode 11 of Ikki-tousen Hakufu and Ryomou search for a cure for Hakufu, but there's a catch in order to get it she first must kill Ryofou or Ryomou dies!

Sun. episodes 11 & 12 of season 5 of RWBY the battle for Haven begins; Cinder tries to take the power of the Spring Maiden but can't as Raven reveals she is the true Spring Maiden.

comment: the revelation at the end of episode 12 of Raven being the true Spring Maiden might help explain her actions a bit more.

Also watched the Yang minisode.

Monday re-watched the sub of Outlanders.

Tuesday watched the dub of episode 2 of Himouto! Umaru-chan Ebina!!!!! need I say more?
and next episode my fave….Kirie!

Got my confirmation for Those Who Hunt Elves today.

Wed. episode 26 of KOR Kyosuke's cousin cons him into switching bodies so he can read Madoka's mind, instead Kyosuke ends up getting into having even more girl troubles. The film that Hikaru and Kyosuke's cousin in Kyosuke's body watch is a parody of American Graffiti.

Th. episode 9 of Utena so it appears that Touga and Saionji may have met Utena when all three were younger after her parents died. Saionji is kicked out of school after he drags Anthy to the dueling field against the code.

Tonight Omamari Himari

LoGH - The New Thesis Seiran ep12=24
After Kircheis' death Lohengram's subordinate spread out and secured the empire while he griefs. As a result he was able to become primeminister & supreme imperial admiral.
This was last episode of season2 and since the end has a preview I presume there's a 3rd season. Also I suspect they may have abandoned the "weird" season naming scheme (at least for westerners).
Story wise this season has rather meh probably due to much abridged stuff. The main points are covered and all but it just feels all thrown together with less attachment for us viewers.
Highlights are new characters and more CGI renderings with some new ships and or new close-up shots.
Kircheis' ships got a full scale firefight depiction. Also the new designs for the Artemis necklaces and the comet bombs are interesting.

After achieving creating "cellphones" for the war it was discovered that his father&co. left behind a voice recording of everyone hidden in a concrete stone which served as gravestone.

Friday episode 1 of Omamori Himari paid closer attention this time around to the cameos of Lizlet,Shizuka and Kuesu. Shizuka doesn't make her appearance until the very end and good segue to episode 2 where she has her official introduction.

Saturday episode 12 of Ikki-tousen death of Ryofu. So when Tontaku "heals" Hakufu he's really transferring his soul into her. But when was the switch made with the amulet? It's only when Hakufu fights Saionji that anyone notices she's actually wearing Tontaku's and not her own. So like I said when did the switch occur?

Sunday episodes 13 & 14 of Season 5 of RWBY Raven defeats Cinder but Yang confronts her mother before she can get the relic; Yang retrieves the relic. The rest of the team continues their fight as the Faunus led by Blake's parents defeat Adam and his White Fang. Team RWBY is now reunited.
Also Lionheart is killed by Salem.
I also watched the Blake minisode but unlike the other two this actually takes place within Season 5 and not before Season 1.

On to Season 6...Can't wait now to get Season 7 but is there going to be a Season 8 as well?

Inuyasha:Affections Touching Across Time movie dubbed on Monday. Long time no watch, so it was nice to sit down and view it again.

Himouto! Umaru-chan episode 3 on Tuesday. Official intro to Kirie. I think she and Kanon from
Umi Monogatari have the same problem with people thinking they have some sort of "evil" aura, but in her case it has to do with her being shy around grown ups.

Also Santa was good to me and I got Those Who Hunt Elves in the mail yesterday.

Wed. watched episode 27 of KOR after Madoka saves a dog from being run over she's threatened by a girl gang. Kyosuke and Hikaru try to protect her but it comes out it was all a misunderstanding as the leader of the girl gang simply wanted to thank her for saving her dog but her underlings misunderstood and thought she wanted to beat Madoka up( who incidentally did a good job of reminding everyone why she has the rep she has).

Th. watched the dub of episode 10 of Utena, Nanami challenges Utena and of course ends up getting schooled but despite loosing doesn't give up. There's also a flashback to when she and Touga were kids and she gave him a kitty for his birthday but later tried to drown it in the river because she got jealous of all the attention he was giving to it instead of her.

I think the next one is when Utena looses a duel finally as it's Utena vs. Touga (at least in the manga that's how it went).

Friday episode 2 of Omamori Himari and the official intro of Shizuku. The gang go to the beach but when Himari and Yuuto get separated from the others Shizuku chooses the opportunity to attack.
When she sees Yuuto's attempt to help Himari, she retreats to think things over. The ending shows Lizlet.
Comment: in the manga Shizuku's habit of using the Japanese word desu at the end of her sentences is translated as "you know" but in the anime either "Yes" or "No".

Saturday episode 13 of Season 1 of Ikki-tousen after Saiji attempt fails he tries to commit suicide by jumping off the nearby cliff but Hakufu and the others rescue him instead. Later she fulfills her promise to fight Ukitsu but during the fight the dragon is released endangering everyone. It nearly makes her kill Koukin by she stops just in time. Afterward she takes off her charm saying she doesn't want fate to dictate her life any more and Ukitsu does the same. During the epilog Ukitsu comes to Nanyo to challenge Hakufu to another fight, this time more to see who's the stronger fighter.
Comment: on to what I have of Dragon Destiny next week and getting used to a new English language vocal cast for about four weeks.

Sunday episodes 1 and 2 of Season 6 of RWBY on the way to Atlas teams JNPR and RWBY are attacked by Grim, Ruby decides that team RWBY will sacrifice themselves to protect the passengers.
After the part of the train they're on derails they discover a old woman who didn't make it in time to get on the other half of the train.
Meanwhile it is revealed that Cinder some how survived her fight with Raven and is looking for team RWBY now.
When the Djinn that inhabits the Relic of Knowledge appears Qrow and Ozpin try to stop Ruby from asking the one question they fear she will(and does):the truth that Ozpin is hiding from them.

Comment: for some reason there wasn't an ED for the ending of episode 2 so I had to guess when to stop.

Monday re-watched the live action Time Traveler,The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

Tuesday watched the dub of episode 4 of Himouto! Umaru-chan and Slyph is officially introduced.
The tennis match was fun, especially as it showed just how unexpectedly good an athlete Kirie is and how bad poor Ebina is by comparison.

Wed. episode 28 of KOR, Manami decides for a change of pace and Kyosuke and Madoka both have to save her from a girl gang.

Th. episode 11 of Utena, Utena looses a duel to Touga who uses psychology to make Utena think he's her prince and so cause her to doubt herself.

Yeah, even Saionji was at least honest about his motives the two times he dueled her.

Friday episode 3 of Omamori Himari and Lizlet!

Saturday episode 5 of Ikki-tousen:Dragon Destiny, Ryomou gets ambushed at the cemetery while trying to bring the Dragon Jade to Hakufu.

Sunday episodes 3 & 4 of RWBY Season 6, Salem and Ozma's back story; the group reaches an abandoned farmstead to shelter.

comment: Why'd Qrow punch Oscar? I mean yeah, Ozpin's in his head but still don't blame Oscar for Ozpin's sins.

New anime season... looks like nothing of interest.
Looks like a bunch of mind-manipulation type of novels got made into anime for this season.
They all seem to be kind of detective/mystery solving shows.

About diving into remains of mind of murdered people in order to find the culprit.
Lot's of 3D and no doubt not cheap but the story is so-so... artificially forcing things.

"Pet"
It's similar where people have this power to dive. And they used "chains" to protect their mind, hence, they are called pets.

Somali to Mori no Kamisama
A golem, protector of a forest, is taking care of the last human child girl in a world of monsters that are out to eat humans. They are in search of other humans.
Another young girl and old guy story show. nah.

Nothing original or interesting then for 2020 so far. No wonder older anime has become so popular.

Monday no anime re-watched the Watchmen movie. This time enjoyed it better than the last time, I think watching it with a Blu Ray player and on HD makes the difference.

Tuesday saw the dub of Himouto!Umaru-chan episode 5, Summer vacation. I also watched the first Special with the main female cast. As always watching this sort of thing is fun and the girls were all joking around and giggling. In other words just having a blast.

KOR ep. 29 on Wed.: Jingoro starts acting oddly. Kyosuke has Kazuya do his body swap trick and it turns out that Jingoro mistook a strange female cat for his mother.

Utena ep. 12 on Th.: After Wakaba gets mad at Utena for sulking over her loss in the last duel, Utena decides for a re-match and wins.

NOTE: Part 2 The Black Rose Saga is due to arrive on Tuesday. But since I already have Those Who Hunt Elves scheduled for Thursday I will watch it on Sundays when I am done with Season 6 of RWBY

Friday episode 4 of Omamori Himari the gang goes back to Noihara where Himari hopes that Yuuto's memories of the past may be revived. While he does begin to remember unfortunately they're also attacked by a couple of unfriendly demons.

Saturday episode 6 of Ikki-tousen:Dragon Destiny Kenyu goes off on her own to find something to help Ryuupei.

Sunday episodes 5 & 6 of Season 6 ofRWBY the team is attacked by Apathy Grim and the old lady is revealed to be another Silver Eyes Warrior.

In Japan the Seikai series is being rerun since yesterday with the latest BD-box rework.

So far some new fantasy, magic girl/monster, band shows. All not worth it. Some are remotely interesting but simply not enough imho.

Itai no wa Iya nano de Bougyoryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu
VR Game anime that is somewhat inspired by "I'm a spider" I think but far less interesting (nothing happens) and all too convenient to say the least. A "safe" shoujo show. meh

Plunderer
Fantasy world where people are ruled by numbers on their body. They have to keep "count/collect" to raise their numbers because once 0 you're dead and higher number gives "command" privileges toward lower "numbers". And like with games there's rules to overcome odds by challenged which are basically "all or nothing". meh

Infinite Dendrogram
Another SAO-esque show. More comedic. meh

Darwin's Game
Another death game show per phone. meh
Noticed there's also some american show picking up that genre.

Kyokou Suiri
A girl has been made mediator(god of wisdom) for japanase folklore "deities" (fairies and other low level monsters). Her job is to ensure peace among the monsters, hence, gets into trouble with powerful ones. The thing is she's fallen for a boy who has turned a monster which scares all others.
I suppose somewhat in the same area as "Card Captor Sakura". It has quality, is not bad but can't say it's good yet.
