Monday watched the live action movie of
School Live differences between it and the anime series:
* Kurumi instead of Yuuki is the main character.
* There is no puppy mascot.
* Megumi is the school nurse.
*Miki and Kei hide out in the school cafeteria and not the mall.
*Miki actually witnesses Kei's death.
*The Zombies are destroyed by fire instead of going home when Yuuki makes the announcement that school is over.
*Megumi is a Christian as she wears a cross and Yuuri closes her Bible after making her last report (I don't think Megumi's religion was ever shown or revealed in the anime).
*Instead of hiding out in the sub-basement, Megumi ties herself to the infirmary radiator so she won't attack the girls.
*When Kurumi is bitten she doesn't get infected because of the fact that she is wearing both her own bracelet and the one her crush gave her before he dies and is zombified.
*Kurumi's crush gets more air time since he is the male lead of the movie, also she has a vision where he gives her the courage to keep on going.
Tuesday watched ep.42 of
Eureka 7, Renton, Eureka and the kids pass through the barrier and the Nirvash appears to be orbiting somewhere above Japan.
Thoughts: Some how I can always remember Maeter and Linc (was he named for the character from the
Mod Squad? If so then...."Solid!"
) but never Maurice.
This would make a great idea for a fanfic crossover with a certain other iconic Mecha series that rhymes with Ava.
