Monday I re-watched episode 9 of Elfen Lied Lucy/Nyu is still in a coma and dreaming of when she and Kohta first met. He gives her the music box and then they go to the zoo together. I always like this section since it shows how naive Lucy was even though she was also a mass murderer/weapon of war.
The fun time comes to an end though after they promise to meet at the carnival that night; but when they do Lucy sees Kohta with his cousin. And then some big doofus bumps into her and gets her mad and she goes full Diclonius on everyone.
Kohta's sister sees it and this of course leads to the massacre on the train later on..

Tuesday episode 8 of Suzuka Yamato's plan to join the track club turns out to be more painful than he imagined as everyone else is in shape but him. When asked what event he wants to participate in he decides on the 100 meters. And then he starts to learn why Suzuka was right about being so harsh toward him as he can't keep up!
Later he meets Miki a friend and former rival or Suzuka's who tries to encourage him.
Honoka is upset he joined.
She meets Saotome who treats her to a bath at the bathhouse. She tells Honoka about how
Yamato is doing everything he can to impress Suzuka and this determines her to do the same to impress Yamato.
The next day the new manager is introduced: Honoka!

Wed. episode 10 of Akame ga Kill. Tatsumi is introduced to the Jaegers and Esdeath decides to take him along on their first mission to take down some bandits. We get to see some more of the forms that Koro can take.
Later Esdeath tries to seduce Tatsumi but he tries to get her to defect only to get bitch slapped and told: " An Imperial General would do no such thing!"
The next day he walks into the dining hall looking like heck and tells Wave he couldn't sleep. They both ask Korume why she looks like Akame and she replies that she's her big sister and she wants to kill her!
Esdeath enters and tells them they will be going looking for wild beasts today and split into two teams: Wave & Tatsumi and Esdeath & Korume but later will switch (meaning she wants to end up
with Tatsumi! )
In the mountains Wave and Tatsumi are attacked and the later automatically comes to Wave's
help. Afterward he sees a chance to escape and takes it;unfortunately Wave's Imperial Arm
is based on Incursio but Tatsumi doesn't want to fight.
He manages to escape but now is too tired and is nearly attacked by a big cat but Akame saves him. He then gives his report to the rest of Night Raid.
Meanwhile the Jaegers ask Esdeath what to do if they meet Tatsumi in battle and he's on the other side.She perfers he be taken alive but otherwise:" Do what you will."

The Agakill minisode was Boss and Leone watching an ad for Incursio..

Thursday episode 12 of NOIR. This was unusual as neither Mirielle or Kirika were in it.
It was a Chloe solo adventure in which she is assigned to kill a retired General. She travels to where he's living in the Alps only to find out his competition is also out to kill him. During a walk in some
Alpine meadows they talk and she stops to literally smell some roses. He tells her about them and then they're attacked. Chloe goes into action saving the General.
Later as they sip wine at the General's chateau he makes her promise not to kill his body guards since they have no knowledge of Les Soldats and she agrees, and then cuts his throat.
One of the body guards enters with gun drawn and Chloe tells him about the promise before walking out.

The scene where she arrives home and sees Altena again was a big contrast as you can see how
much like a daughter she is to her..

New animes are just starting so I have taken some look.

Four Seasons Fuuka to Nanami
Full 3D that have character animation that looked like from old japanese DirecX9.0c games from around 15 years ago... looks like it's all about Yamaha motorbikes. Meh. Bikes are top notch but not interested.

Looks like season 2 *shrugs*
Full 3D of more current tech level. See the difference for yourself.
Pokemon type of game story... Meh.

Berserk re-imagined season 2 ep13
This is where the new arc starts or rather has for awhile. In the manga this is roughly where Hawk's new elites are introduced.(not much here in either) But it seems unlike the mangaa the anime gives more character details to the new cast. I gave up the manga at this point because it turned chaotic crap and unending. The anime does a better job but we'll see ...

Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan season 2 ep26
This is right after the incident in the royal city and after the trial that followed.
The Titans have started to invade the second wall...
That aside the background story is that this was all some war between humans and those who turn titans by will (and are controlled by some other power). The King within the wall had kidnapped the King of Titans (who can bestow titan power) and help captive within the wall.
Well, whatever it's just some nonsense reason.


Sagrada Reset
Looks like the title's writing is a case of japanese uncertainty about whether to write it with ga or ka. As it happens on fictious Sakurada island the correct writing should be Sakurada Reset.
The show appears on the onset to be about Espers but it's actually about ethics, psychology and whatnot related to the use of such powers. This one might be interesting although right now it's a dry discussion of the matter. Perhaps not for everyone.
Have I mentioned esper themed anime seems to be on the rise in recent years?

Friday watched episode 4 of AD Police after a raid on an illegal Voomer factory goes bust
Hans and Kenji decide separately to go after the men who are behind it. Looks like Hans is really
serious about pursuing a relationship with Yuki as he asks her out again at the hospital where she
works. Also both Hans and Kenji get in trouble (again!) and are given time off.

Saturday episode 8 of Omamori Himari Himari recovers from her encounter with Kuesu.
But the pill she takes initiates full CATgirl mode with her much to Yuuto's distress.
(Shizuku passing by remarks: "Moron!" )
Later Yuuto decides to have a talk with Kuesu. The talk turns into an argument and she attacks him but he uses the Light Power and she winds up being thrown out the window. Later they both calm
down and are able to talk about their past.
Then Himari shows up and demands a rematch but this time Kuesu can pick the sword as she's brought the demoness that handles such merchandise along. The later promptly vomits a load of
swords out grossing out both Yuuto and Kuesu.

Sunday episode 8 of Kiddy Grade A bomb that can destroy planets is smuggled out of GOTT
and Eclaire and Lumiere are ordered to find where it is. They get the help of Dweedledee and her
brother Dweedledum. But the mission goes south when the smugglers become aware of the raid.
Fortunately their caught in time but not before the bomb is set.
The Dweedles try to use their ability but can't and so Alv and Dverger are brought in.
Later Eclaire is depressed because Chief Eclipse replied to Alv and Dverger's message but not to hers..

Hmmm...wonder why ESPERS are suddenly popular again.

Finally...finally! sent in my order for season 1 of K-ON! today.

Monday watched episode 12 of Pretear raw. Himeno's entire family comes to her aid to help rescue Mawata.

Tuesday episode 9 of Suzuka Yamato qualifies for the prelims in Tokyo but Suzuka tells him she doesn't like him ( the guy tries too much). Then after seeing the pic of her and her old boyfriend he decides to stop her before she goes to Yokohama.

Wed. episode 11 of Akame ga Kill Dr. Stylsh and his monster army attack Night Raid's new HQ
in the mountains. Things start to look back but fortunately Boss returns with two new recruits.
I think this is the first time that Boss' identity is actually revealed. So she's another General!

The Agakill minisode had Lubbock and Tatsumi going to a strip club only to find it was run by
Dr.Stylsh and instead of girls it was guys in drag...

Th. episode 13 of NOIR this is the one where Kirika makes a friend of a man she meets
drawing by the river bank. She gets interested in what he's doing that she decides to get into
drawing herself.
Mirielle warns her to break it off but she doesn't listen until her friend becomes an innocent victim
in a drive by targeting her.
At the end she drowns her sketch pad in the Seine and Mirielle chides her for not heeding her warning.

Friday episode 4 of AD Police, a hostage crisis becomes personal to Kenji when it turns out that
Kyoko is one of the hostages.

Saturday episode 9 of Omamori Himari demons are dying mysteriously and the culprit is revealed to be a nine tailed fox demon who challenges Himari.

Sunday episode 9 of Kiddy Grade The planet Dardanos is under an hypnotic spell of a song that makes Eclaire to start to remember her past.

Monday watched Inuyasha. The episode with the Yuki Onna in it. Funny the number of times
Sango uses the mosquito excuse for slapping Miruko. Great fun.

Tuesday episode 10 of Suzuka. This gave some background to Suzuka and why she's afraid of
getting close to Yamato: he reminds her too much of her dead boyfriend.
Yamato's decision to quit the track team is abrupt as it was to join.
The latter was because of Suzuka the former because he feels he can't compete with Kazuki's memory. The guy's too wishy washy at this point. Should've heeded Miki's words.

Wed. episode 12 of Akame Ga Kill. Night Raid establishes a new HQ in the mountains because
the wild beasts discourage anyone from trespassing.Susano proves himself by literally building the new
HQ by himself and doing other chores. He then really pisses Najendra off by saying she reminds him of his last master who happened to be a dude!
Leone and Tatsumi get some good combat practice in by going up against some of the local wild beasts. Then when Mine and Lubbock are relaxing a wild cat comes in and takes Mine's food only to be revealed that it's really Chelsea whose Imperial Arms are a set of make up that helps the person using them look like anyone or anything they want.(Tatsumi finds this out the hard way later in the night when Lubbock urges him to play a prank on her.)
Back in the Capitol Seryu is mourning for yet another dead mentor ( the fact that both of them
happen to be evil scumbags that Night Raid killed is beside the point here) Esdeath finds her and
tries to comfort her. Wave and Korume are walking and talking about Seryu and Wave wants to be the one to comfort her and then he sees her with Esdeath...big disappointment!
Finally a group of miners are being attacked by a group of mega beasts...

The Akakill minisode was Lubbock and Chelsea doing a infomercial for Chelsea's Imperial Arms
which unfortunately he was using to imitate Leone,Najendra and Mine who got all pissed at him!

Th. episode 14 of NOIR. Mirielle is reunited with her maternal uncle who is the only relative that she has left after Les Soldats slaughtered the rest of her family in Corsica. He's also the man who taught him all she knows about the 'business'. There's also a number of unsolved murders occuring at the same time.
Later it's revealed that Mirielle's uncle is the one behind them all as he is working for Les Soldats.
During the last meeting they have before their final confrontation he admits to her that the reason why she wasn't killed with the rest of the family was because he had made a deal to work with
Les Soldats. Part of the deal is he has to kill Kirika. This is why Mirielle wants to go and fight him by herself but Kirika tags along despite all of Mirielle's protests.
In the greenhouse Mirielle and her uncle face each other one last time..

Looking at new animes this time appears to have an unusually large number of interesting shows. But I doubt the majority will keep it up.

Atom
Seems like Astroboy in a different package, old style combined with modern design. Classic character design. Robot competitions... Meh.

ID-0
The background universe setting(problems) sounds like from John Scalzi's "The Collapsing Empire" that came out a weeks ago. But the anime has been in the works since last Year's August, so I presume they happen to have the same idea for the premise: some super element found somewhere allowed mankind to use FTL; mankind gets dependent; there's a looming danger of the source being cut leaving mankind dead in the water. So this is the backdrop the story plays toward to at some later time. For now student Maya gets separated from her shio after an excavation "accident" and gets rescue by another "excavation" team. Since they use a mind transfer system to control mechas she's separated from her body... hence, ends up tagging along this new group of people until she earns enough money to buy her way home... In the end she gets her body miraculously back as it's found aboard the ship for some reason.
Edit: It's revealed the professor instigated the accident to get rid of Maya and shift the blame for selling survey/excavation data on her, hence, ditched her body which was found by her new mates. And so begins her fugitive life...

Seikaisuru Kado
Episode 00 starts like "Hanzawa Naoki", first novel story, negotiating & saving a company on the verge of shut down. However, Shindo is a government negotiator and not a bank employee.
At the end a mysterious cube materializes out of thin air and lands on Shindo's aircaft.
Episodes 1-3
It's revealed the aicraft has been savely put inside the cube. As he touches the inside a human body is constructed and serves as the vessel for a being of a higher level of existence. He has come to negotiate with the Japanese government on improving mankind.... He say his cube "Kado" needs 29 days to process the aircraft and passenger before thy can be released from Kado.
Well, he's obviously a dimensional being, if this were real neither time nor processing power would be an issue. Our differences would be measured in powers of infinity not some countable number.

Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata
Imagine a romance show like KOR character's combined with Ichigo 100%/Strawberry 100%. Nope no twins, no cat, no Esper, no rest of family so far. You got more or less Akane, Madoka, Hikaru, and some more. Not really interested but might be good to fall back to.

Never saw Ichigo 100%. BTW: Sally Forth had a bit in the paper last week where Hilary was talking to a classmate and they wind up talking about Fullmetal Alchemist and
FLCL! forgot what day it was though...

Friday episode 5 of AD Police Liam surrenders to the AD Police and seemingly is about to tell them everything they want to know about Mason but it turns out to be a ruse to trap them.

Saturday episode 10 of Omamori Himari Friends and foes unite as Yuuto and the girls are forced to work together against the looming threat of Tama and her companion.

Sunday episode 10 of Kiddy Grade Eclaire is forced to come face to face with her past.

This was an interesting episode since we got to see the various different versions of Eclaire before the current one.

Also got K-on! season 1 today in the mail.

Monday watched the Star Festival episode of Ai Yori Aoshi. It's the one where Aoi has a birthday and Kaoru wants to buy the white dress for her but it's too expensive so without telling her he takes a couple of part time jobs in order to buy it. And then he learns someone else has bought it so he winds up buying a pair of ballet slippers for her. But after the party he discovers that she
was the one who bought the dress and so gives her the slippers to go with it.

Tuesday watched episode 11 of Suzuka Yamato gets dragged to the track meet where he sees Suzuka being bullied and stands up for her. Then he promises he'll beat the guy leading the bulling. He almost does it too, with help from Suzuka yelling at him that he's an idiot!
But at the last minute he seizes up and ends up in last place. Afterward he learns that: A) that's what happens to everyone, B) but also because he had missed 3 or 4 days of club practice he
was too out of shape and C) if he wants to really impress Suzuka he should work harder.

btw: the bully was The top track star in the Tokyo area and even he was impressed by Yamato
being able to keep up with him,especially since he was only a Freshman.

Ichigo 100% isn't so good. It has lots of fan service. I haven't watched it all due to these reasons either, too bored by them.

Some more on new shows...

Gin no Guardian
A romance show with gaming and other world hero theme. It makes you somewhat curious but whether it's worth it I cant tell. It's a bit artsy as it changes between 3 styles depending on the world (real, game, alternative).

Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka？ Isogashii desu ka？ Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka？
A (typical) future-(final-)fantasy-scifi world. Mankind has been wiped out and the world is ruled by (fantasy) creatures who blame mankind for Earth's destruction. People are living on air-floating islands. Our protagonist is the last of man and recently found a caretaker job guarding secret weapons (girls). His only co-worker is a sexy troll who asks him whether she can eat him each time they see each other. Might be a good show.

So basically a harem comedy disguised as a Sci Fantasy series.

Wed. episode 13 of Akame ga Kill Night Raid uses the distraction of the new and more deadlier
beasts attacking the populace to move to their new official HQ.They debate whether or not they should help the Imperial Army and Jaegers fight the beasts when Tatsumi points out that since it's
innocent people who are being killed they ought to. Unfortunately for him his fly was open when he said it and Susano points it out much to the mirth of everyone else.
Akame even volunteers to watch his fly and tell him whenever it's open again(with her it's hard to tell when she's joking..)
Later that night Lubbock (complaining he got partnered with a dude!) and Tatsumi set out on patrol but can find nothing. Tatsumi volunteers to check on the mountain,but unfortunately Esdeath
is also patrolling from the sky and sees someone on the ground. When she discovers it's Tatsumi
she goes all googly girly!
And then the beasts attack...

Th. episode 15 of NOIR this is the one with the Chinese female assassin who uses poison nails
to kill. Les Soldats (meaning Altena) sends Kirika and Mirielle to Taiwan to deal with the problem.
They meet their informant at a local temple where he tells them about the Tongs. As he talks the
assassin with her escort arrive. After that the fight begins.Kirika and Mirielle separate and Mirielle
winds up facing the assassin. Fortunately she uses her gun to block the other woman from effectively using her nails on her by ends upp falling.
Kirika finds herself trapped and about to be shot point blank when Chloe shows up...

Episode 6 of AD Police on Friday. This centered around Jose. After having an argument with his wife he leaves the house for work. Later after capturing some Boomers the AD Police are contacted by
Liam who tells them he has kidnapped Jose's wife and daughter and they are to release the Boomers they caught or...
The building the hostages is in is finally located and Jose sets to work defusing the bomb.
At first it looks like a dud and everyone relaxes; but after Jose's wife and daughter are escorted out of the building the bomb and others planted around the building off killing Jose.

Sooo....Nancy's a multipack smoker?

Saturday episode 11 of Omamori Himari Tama attacks testing Himari but decides she's not ripe to eat yet and neither are any of the others. They retreat to Noihara where they start to try to see
if there's anything in the books of the Amakawa clan that would help. Himari goes on a walk by herself and is confronted once more by Tama who threatens her once more. She starts to go into Demonic Berserk mode and Tama begins to sense that she's ripe now to eat..

Sunday episode 11 of Kiddy Grade. Eclaire and Lumiere are sent to a planet run by the
Noblesse. The workers are on strike demanding better conditions and they are set there as representatives of GOTT to make sure the contract is fulfilled. Eclaire is ordered twice to attack
the crowds but in the first time she simply created a barrier and the second time she went wild and
disobeyed orders showing a small part of her actual power. Later she and Lumiere are 'purged'.

Hmmm...having seen the finale I wonder at Eclipse's end game here. Was she deliberately putting Eclaire into positions where she knew she would end up disobeying orders in order that later she
could use the two of them in more clandestine activites that the GOTT ES division could otherwise
do without disavowing their actions?

I remember her smoking but I don't remember anything more.

I'm not certain but I kind of sure Eclipse had something like that in mind. She only didn't know whether it would actually work or not. That is imho the reason for her unclear actions. Well, otherwise it would be easily discovered I guess.

I hear LoGH has been licensed and somewhat reworked & dubbed for release "soonish". I'm seeing a lot of recent review coming up (days to a month). It seems people who have been "avoiding it" are ready to jump now (3 decades later). lol I think many won't get the experience they are supposed to a long time ago, but, well, better late than never. So if you are interested save up! It's gonna be costing a lot. I have long have both the original japanese and reworked japanese BD version. I'm not happy with the new one as they have used blending to switch scenes which blurred it all. And new redrawn part that make it look amiss at times. Imho the original is best despite being outdated and sometimes bad quality images.

Apropos, due to the Gits live action I see a lot of people getting on with the anime.
So here a review between version 1.0 and version 2.0 of the original movie.

Frankly, for both I share the same sentiments as above.

I agree on GITS the original looks better in a lot of ways. Good to see no matter the controversy over the casting of the live action version that it sitll got people interested enough to watch the anime version.

Monday I re-watched the raw version (again) of episode 1 of this rather obscure anime that nobody
has ever heard of called War on Geminar...
I still need to get part 2 one of these days. And yeah after all this time I still think Chiaia FTW!
I actually enjoyed it more this time around, probably because I am more relaxed now when watching the raws.

Tuesday episode 12 of Suzuka the gang head to the pool and Honoka wants to tell her feelings to Yamato while he wants to try again with Suzuka. However the others seem to conspire to get in their way of doing so. And also the girl who was selling tickets to the amusement park is back selling tickets to the pool(although her job now is with the cable tv company). I wonder if she'll
be showing up again as a gag charater?

So I was in Spokane yesterday and managed to pick up volume 2 of theNeon Genesis Evangelion:Shinji Ikari Raising Projectomnibus. It includes volumes 4-6 of the regular manga.

Wed. I watched episode 14 of Akame Ga Kill, poor Tatsumi stuck on that island with Esdeath!
And we do get to see her background finally.Pretty harsh and it's no wonder she turned out the way she is.

Th. episode 16 of NOIR continuing from the previous episode. Chloe basically saves the day
and hints that she and Kirika share a destiny.

Fri. episode 7 of AD Police the team learn that Liam is actually a Boomer/Human hybrid and
Hans discovers a shocking secret about his girlfriend.

Finished Omamori Himari on Saturday with episode 12: As the fight between Tama and Himari
continues both reveal their ultimate final forms. Yuuto and the girls shout encouragement to Himari and she manages to overcome Tama. But the victory is darkened by the fact that Himari no longer recognizes anyone and starts to attack them. Finally Yuuto manages to calm her down but hugging her as she tries once more to attack him.
Then his Light Force is awakened and it transforms her clothes and sword.
Just in the nick of time too as Tama's companion reveals his true self: a red ogre.
Himari kills him and collapses.
Later everyone including Tama (who has become part of the gang now) is celebrating back at
Yuuto's place when their teacher, the class president and Taiso all show up.
They're all upset about what's going on(but Taiso for different reason) and the only reason they
came was to check up on Yuuto and the others.
The ED shows everyone going about their normal business with Kuesu giving her henchman a what
for for betraying them. Then there is still picture epilog that chronicles everything from Yuuto's
family moving in across from Rinko's to the more recent events.
Next week start xxxHolic dubbed.

Sunday episode 12 of Kiddy Grade: after the GOTT decides to purge Eclaire and Lumiere a team is sent to either bring them in or kill them. Throughout the episode other ES members are shown discussing the situation. Lumiere finds a colony that is politically neutral and they head for it.
At a local tavern they discuss what's happening with the female bar tender listening patiently, but later it is revealed that she too is a GOTT agent.
They try to make a run for it too late because the special unit has already arrived.
Armblester appears to betray them as the team uses a special device to shot down the nanobots in the girls' bodies. Lumiere is able to recover because of her ability but things look grim for Eclaire.
Then it's revealed that Armblester is really an ES member too and he uses his ability to heal Eclaire.
Then Eclaire and Lumiere are allowed to escape.

Monday I re-watched the raw of Tenchi Universe episode 10, the one that introduced
Nagi and Ken-Ohki.
Tuesday I watched episode 13 of Suzuka. Honoka finally makes her move and Suzuka doesn't seem to mind one bit, though I think she was feeling jealous when she saw Honoka and Yamato together.

Wed. episode 15 of Akame Ga Kill, the battle of Night Raid vs. the Jaegers has begun!
No love lost between the two sisters either! Looks like Wave is begun to waver in his loyalty to the Jaegers because of the incident at the beginning of the episode where Seryu kills the entire bandit
band they captured, despite Esdeath's orders to the contrary.
Also Esdeath longingly looking at the picture of Tatsumi she drew last episode. Real bad crush there.
Wonder what will happen when Wave and the others finally find out that Tatsumi has been Night Raid all the time he was with them.
The Akakill minisode featured our favorite little psychopath member of the Jaegers Seryu
teaching a lesson on safety.

Th. episode 17 of NOIR, Mirielle returns to Corsica to visit the graves of her family. While there she learns the truth of why her parents were killed: it turns out the Bouquet family were
members of La Soldats. The old family retainer who tells her this is killed as he gives her the message. She chases the killer throughout the shell of her family's manor. After killing him she
finds herself face to face with Chloe who tells her that she (Chloe)and Kirika are the "true NOIR".
She also warns her that when it's time for Kirika to leave not to prevent her or else.
Then she adds engimatically that Mirielle herself is a "Child of Les Soldats".

Checked out volume 3 of the Earl and Fairy manga at the library today. Will see...

Friday episode 8 of AD Police this episode is set entirely at the bar where the squad members congregate when they're off duty. Hans, Mary and Karen separately and together try to get Kenji
to come to the station to see his visiting grandfather, but he keeps refusing to do so. Even the bartender chimes in with a story about 'a friend' but when Mary suggests the 'friend' was really
himself the bartender denies it.
As this is going on a would be robber enters and tries to hold the bar up but when he sees all four
AD Police members flash their guns he flees muttering: "I got the wrong place!" but none of them
bothers to follow because it's a job for the regular police and he wasn't worth their time and effort.
Finally the sergeant calls and orders Kenji back to the station and he obeys.
Also Hans and Saotome have a talk about what he saw and seem to clear the air..

Saturday episode 1 of xxxHOLIC dubbed.Ok, so I do have to admit Colleen Clickenbeard is one of my favorite VAs in the dubs and she really does another great job with Yuko.I thought watching the original with Sayaka Ohara as Yuko was fun but the dub is just as fun as Colleen Clickenbeard
hits all the right notes with her Yuko. I mean who can't watch this show without becoming a Yuko
fanboy or fangirl?
But on to the episode which is about how Watanuki first meets Yuko and becomes her unwitting
servant,etc. The part with the girl who thinks she's haunted is really ironic since in the end her
attitude leads her to actually being haunted. Karma coming true?
And whoever plays Mokona must've fun! I can't think of not having fun playing such a character.

Sunday episode 13 of Kiddy Grade A-Oh and Un-Oh are sent after Lumiere and Eclair.
The girls try to reach a colony where they visited in one of their previlous lives.But they are caught and in the middle of the battle Lumiere is seriously injured. Eclair lands at the colony and makes a daring attempt to reach the remains of the hospital. When they get there they find a hidden room where the doctor that had helped them in the past had left the necessary medical supplies and equipment to help Lumiere recover.
Unfortunately A-Oh and Un-Oh have followed them but a truce is declared as the larger one is also
injured.
Later A-Oh and Un-Oh decide to become renegades from the GOTT as well...
And another great performance by Colleen Clickenbeard as Eclair.
She's definitely up there with the likes of Michelle Ruff,Kari Wahlgren,Wendee Lee.etc. as among
my favorite female VAs in the dubs when I watch the dubs.

Monday watched a preview of Celestial Method with episode 7. In it Nonoka goes to pay her
respects at her mother's grave. Yuzuki and Koharu decide to go along. But when they ask Noel she
tells them she can't (she broke one of the hands of the cardboard monster that Sota and Yuzuki
had made earlier and was too ashamed to admit it).
The other two hope that Shione will come along but Nonoka seems reluctant. Later after being lost
for a longish time they finally find the cemetery and Shione is already there!
Nonoka tells the others it was because of her mother that she and Shione originally met and became
friends.
Meanwhile Sato is trying to help Noel mend the 'monster' and he asks her if the reason she couldn't go was because she can't be too far from the saucer, to which she says yes.
When the girls return Noel has a message from Shione for Nonoka that she wants to see the stars with her that night.

All in all I thought this was pretty good and can't wait to start watching on a regular basis.
I think it's easy to see that Noel is going be on the favorite character list...I mean she is so
loveable.

Tuesday episode 14 of Suuzka Mikki is shown watching Honoka and Yamato kiss while the two are unaware of her presence. She tries to find a way to tell Suzuka but only manages to when they're alone shopping for souvenirs. Suzuka doesn't seem to mind and is taking it in stride, or so it seems.
Later Yamato,Honoka and some of the others decide to go look for some okiymaki to eat but all the
cafes and resturants that serve it are full so they have to settle for ramen instead!
It's time to get on the train to return to Tokyo and Suzuka is sitting with Mikki,she tells her she needs to use the rest room and on her way sees Yamato carrying a bunch of pop in his hands(like he couldn't have gotten a bag?). He stumbles and the cans fall down.
She gets off to help and tells him to hurry...too late the doors close and the train is on it's way!
The two are now stuck and they try to see if they can catch a later one but it's too late.
Then they try the bus with no better luck.
The team captain calls and tells them the same thing,so they're stuck together in Hiroshima without a way home!

hmmm....interesting that this episodes follows that one where Yamato and Honoka seemingly become a couple...

Checked out volume 3 of The Earl and The Fairy manga form the library on Monday.

Wed. saw episode 16 of Akame ga Kill the battle between Night Raid and the Jaegers begins.
Korumo uses her dolls to attack; she really gets big sister Akame mad when it's revealed one of the dolls is one of their old friends. Najenda has everyone split up. Susano take on the umdead
monster. Chelsea comes to Tatsumi's add by posing as a savage tribesman. Najenda orders
Mine away from her battle as it's against another former general and friend of Najenda's and she knows all his moves. She tells him she's sorry for him and will help to free him(we also get to see
finally what her artificial hand can do).
After she looses all her dolls Korume let's her final option loose...a dead giant frog( Naruto much?)
It appears to swallow Mine whole but she blasts her way out.
Meanwhile the rest of the Jaegers have learned that they've been on a wild goose chase as they
come face to face with local bandits pretending to be Night Raid. Esdeath orders all but a couple
killed...

The Akakillminisode featured Wave wanting to get a Chariot action figure but his mom gets him a Mr. Bols one instead!

Th. episode 18 of NOIR After having met Chloe on Corsica Mirielle asks Kirika to leave for a bit so she can think things through. Kirika wonders depressed until she ends up at a coffee shop where
she's given a note. She meets the man who wrote it and he tells her where she can find the information they've been looking for on Les Soldats.
But when she gets there the messenger has been killed but left a copy of a mimeographed copy of the book with him.
She reads it and then tries to get in touch with Mirielle who isn't ready to talk yet.
Later her contact tells him he will give her some more if she meets him at a certain place and time.
She's ready to go when Chloe shows up and warns that another faction is about to kill Mirielle.
Deciding to save her friend Kirika races to where she is and misses the appointment.
At the end the two girls talk about the pages that Kirika was given.

So this episode reveals that there are various factions within Les Soldats and that Altena leads one.
It also reveals that Chloe is only loyal to Altena and no-one else.

Friday episode 9 of AD Police during a Boomer outbreak at a bridal store Hans gets seriously
injured. Kenji refuses to visit him until Mary and Karen pester him to do so ( while mainly Mary).
It's revealed that Hans has a bomb planted in his brain that goes off if he tries to remember the
details of his past.

Saturday episode 2 of xxxHolic a young woman comes to the shop to get Yuko's help with
what appears to be a problem with her pinky finger. It turns out she is a liar and the more she lies
the more invisible smoke comes out until it so covers her that she is struck down by a semi.
Afterwards Watanuki asks if Yuko thinks she's learned her lesson but Yuko is uncertain.

This episode also introudces Himawari.

Sunday episode 14 of Kiddy Grade Tweedledee and Tweedledum are sent to eliminate
Eclair and Lumiere by uploading a virus into their ship and Donner that turns them against
them. Eclair and Lumiere barely escape when the ship and Donner voluntarily self destruct.
At the end of the episode we see two familiar but different looking young women standing
at the top of GOTT HQ....send in the clones?!

Actually this has gotten me confused now are the Eclair and Lumiere we've been following since
episode 1 the "Real" ones or are they the clones?...yeah gotta wait for next episode to see which
are the clones and which are the "Real" ones.
