    Shame, normally there's like...artbooks or something when you good art like this.

    That'll be my next project:
    Find a site with HQ scans of the person who does BFotS art.

    I've seen the image before... larger.
    I think it was on an auction with YJ.... or around AN.

    There are at least 7 art books. The problem is that they are extremely rare and valueable. You can only find them at auctions.

    I have already a product page in the works since we can't change AN's list now. As it turns out I don't have enough space or high enough limits to store big pictures on the net...

    Once a member from AN posted his great scan archive...(need to look.)

    Looks nice, where's this one coming from, who's the author?

    Someone realy need to grab at least couple of those art books...i'd be real happy to see some real artist work, more detailed and stuff...
    Almael, is there any scans from art books?
    And are characters are more like anime style or like those old Seikai books covers?

    Great - i remember seeing these but never did a reliable bookmark archive. It seems AN serve us well still.
    There's realy a lot of useful visuals and those pre-productions sketches are priceless - if i'm not mistaken those are the ones used by animators as reference for various poses/expressions etc and the guy who drew em is kind of "real" designer of all characters. The pencil can tell a lot. And he's even using "cross/oval" method for drawing heads like i do Very Happy

    Btw, maybe we should put up a real sticky "Important Seikai links&resources" topic?

    Those are both production and prototyping sketches. The way the artist does them is normal compared to others.

    My common practice is to quote the post to get the url.

    Paste it into another tap window and see if it works. Some sites prevent hotlinks so you may need to go to the site first to have their cookie activated and then try the url on that page again.

    For small images sometimes you just edit the url a bit to get a big image. Many images have common naming/url scheme, but it may not work for any random pics.
