Seikai Merchandises

As I said before I had started a new list for this since AN can't be changed, but I didn't finish it yet. I checked with AN to be sure about items. As it is there are about 150 items in AN's list with half versions of the same. However, about a dozen+ newer ones need to be added.
I decided to include more information and later buying links prefereable at amazone since they don't delete sold items.

In any case, I have the pics but I need to pool the infos and links.
I will post the pages her once the infos are acceptably present and will try to complete infos and links as time goes.
If you find something you know is rare or think it's new definitly post it, please.

The merchandise database can be found in the Laburec Library.
Currentlly no picture links are working, nor are big picture provided. However, big ones can be found in the Abhnation.com database.
The Doujinshi list isn't available yet.

I rather wonder about the japanese auction sites if they ship overseas...

I'm nearly finished with matching images and items for release. I added nearly 50% more items on average. I did the pages in a way to provide infos and pics for easy identification, but I have been thinking of using opening 'tags' to allow simpler overview...

99% of Japanese auctions will not ship overseas, and will not accept payment from overseas either.
When I did imports for the Tenchi community, that's basically what I did was act like a middleman and get the stuff as far as the US, then I'd repack it and ship it to England or Germany or whatever.

I did that for... 3 years or so before I got out of it due to the hentai. Non hentai stuff I can still import though.

Anyway, as of now I count 22 seikai artbooks with two possibly more (earlier volumes).
The fact that we don't see much scans around is a crime.
Most of which I can't find but still got most covers.

The merchandise database is up and running (sse first post). I have not finished the doujinshi section yet.

I have kept more or less the format found at Abhnation in order to ease search and comparison. Especially for when you are looking for big pictures. Also I barely use those either. Other than that I have designed it for easy overview while including more useability with more in-depth infos and purchase links.

As it turned out, all the art books are not official but published under the name of the artists.
So they are all in the doujinshi section.
The doujinshi section does not include H-doujinshis! If you are eager try to ask Acidstealth.
In any case due to the vast amount of doujinshins I include only printed publications.
There are about 20+ artbooks, 40+ mangas, 10+ novels

I'm not providing big pictures yet. I have some trouble organising my pictures at photobucket as well as the space limit. According to my calculations the currrent 10GB transfer limit is not enough. I think I'm going to look for a better hosting site.

If you find something, as to hosting, let us know as I may end up making an alternate account.
I've had a PB for close to 8 years...

I found out that Photobucket has a cap on the length of filenames which is 35 characters.
I fixed some image links (within the following) and updated the books and poster section.

Also the Doujinshi section is online. I managed to get nearly all the covers but as good as no selling link except auction sellers (temporary links are not included).
I couldn't get any infos on the artbooks except anouncements...not even those supposed sellers have them listed. The mangas from Minx seem to be quite good.

hello everyone! I have just started here but in looking trough different topic a lot of people it seems are starved for Seikai information and lore about the games, guide books .ect that I have and wanted to shear with you all because it seems like it would be a great thing for the people who love this show as much as I do. and hopefully I hope someone can read Japanese and translate too!

You might want to add "things" to the wiki at shoutwiki. I always wanted to add a game section since information's pretty much scarce but never got the time.
As for translation, well, having good scanned images is a start and they can be used for the wiki, too.
It's too bad I lost a bunch about the game due to hard drives dying including the UI translated mod version.

I only have the Crest of the Stars and Banner of the Stars manga and
volume 2 and 3 of the Banner of the Stars II anime.The last also came with
the Birth OVA as an extra.

Yes I have, but it was worth it, i'm a big fan after all. i'm thinking of going trough the books and scanning them each page by page and uploading them so that other can see what in them and hopefully be able to translate them or make use of them as well as uploading them for posterity. Because I feel like I have a lot of CoTs things that can be put to better use in another's hands and, as mentioned before, things like translating and then the story can continue for the English fans and add to the lore.

Sorry for the delay. I'm kind of busy with lots of things.

Nice collection.
You don't need to scan the novels as we have it already. However, the newer Danshou III short stories aren't scanned etc./ available yet, though. Translation progress is hammered by time and just real life getting in the way.
Well, we could use better scans for the rare arts, covers, inserts etc. It would be nice to secure all art for prosperity on the wiki. The ones for the ships are so low & small... I lost my scan versions due to hard drives failures.

Most people who do blogs either want to express themselves or want to share information on a regular basis. The rest of us use forums to share without being pressured to keep it regular. So that's perfectly alright.

On another note Legend of (the) Galactic Heroes might be something for you too. It just got a reboot (on Crunchyroll & co.), and the original will be released as BD english version soon, including a limited edition:

LoGH reboot appears to be getting a lot of notice.

There's a figure that went up on eBay for about 100$, brand new in box.

I'm new to the show, episode 7 so far (and no cash) so won't buy it myself, but this seems like a good price to me, as a collector.

I imagine everyone here has it already, but either way, just in case any of you aren't up-to-date with the figure search or something.
