Ways to go about selling stuff?

I've got stuff to sell...

LD players, old computers, video games, old office hardware, a 60's guitar, in a word... junk or stuff.

I'm well aware of eBay since I've been on there years.
But the trick is you have to have someone to buy what
you're selling and it costs a bunch.

Recently started using Craigslist... not a lot of activity though.

Yard sale... doesn't quite work as I'm out in the country. When your nearest neighbor is 3 acres away it's not the best plan.


So does anyone else have ideas on how to get rid of their old junk and try to make something off it?

I usualy use local internet sites related to stuff you're selling to post ad.
For example - i sold all my older videocards, amplifier etc via computer site.
Just selling a bunch of different things is never effective because certain people will only be interested in specific items. So you should sell your computer at computer site, guitar at music site etc.

Well does your church have a rummage sale?That would be one good way of trying to get rid of some of the stuff.
Of course selling on the internet is rather iffy at the best of times because you can never know what will happen.
Also eBay doesn't do as good a job of checking on the sellers.I know because a couple years back we kept getting messages from them or someone claiming to be them about stuff that we were supposedly selling on eBay.It was a headache.

Our church has a yard sale coming up, but it's all donation and I need to get
funds in return for this stuff.
