game modding question

I recently came across a link to download the old Kin of the Stars mod for sins of a solar empire. I'd like to request permission to use the models for a mod in the game Sword of the Stars. The reason i'm asking here is the old forum appears to be dead, and the mod website also appears dead. thanks for any response.

I give you permission to use the models for modding games only. Not for any profit.
Please read the readmes coming with the models. As usual give credit where it is due.
