Made an exhaustive review of the computer I just got.

Not I'm seriously thinking of returning it and getting something else.
Only problem is.. I can't find anything else to move to.

Hence the buyer's remorse?

No... all my relatives are broke, and it's 1,700 of laptop.

I have till the 7th to return it no questions asked...or so they claim.

Ok when you say 1,700 what are you talking about?

Well you could read the review and find out, but it's a performance
laptop with desktop parts and the latest graphics card.

I'm rushing around today cause I've got to ship the thing today
or I won't be getting any refund.

The computers we have had so far have all been used.The one I am currently using came from our local museum.

Yes...the curse of Dell tech support!

Rawr... got my refund back.... but they subtracted $40 for no reason.
Now I've got to fight that out.

Good luck with that.They'll probably say it's something like it's because you used it or something like that.

No it's a matter of they are charging me for free shipping.

They sent it out by free shipping, then when I returned it claim that it no longer
applies so they are charging me the $40, for a free service. Taking it out of the cost of the laptop.

I think they must just want to make extra money off of you.

I know why they are doing it, but it doesn't make it right.

All my new comp parts shipped today. Whee....

Sounds like someone is going to be in Geek Heaven for awhile.

Not really, I got all the parts yesterday.... except no motherboard, and no optical drive.
So I can't do a lot till I at least get the mobo.

*sigh*

So how goes the project today?

I got it built and she runs really quiet... been slowly installing stuff.
Takes ya a day to build, and a week to setup.

I've got some pics, but I've got a full plate today and I've got to get those
rebates filled out yet.

Still need to find a new laptop.
