Nah, as you said fatty meat is unhealthy, but then again ... who knows.

You'd be surprised what a, mostly, vegetarian diet and drinking only fruit juices or water/non-sweetened tea can do for you!

I've given up almost all junk food and haven't had fast food (like Burger King) in almost three months!


Most of the stuff on that list would make me very sick I think...

215# here... could stand to lose 30 of it.

I'm at 250ish.

I was at 270 some time ago, heaviest I've ever been was around 300.

I'm trying to loose at least 50 lbs of fat before August, that's my goal as of right now.

Highest I've ever been was about 247... when I was on steroids for a cold.
Good gosh that felt like a sumo...

My main problem is I'm on the PC all day in and out, and when I'm not,
I'm either doing light work or cooking something, or sleeping.
Lethargic in a word... so I need to get exercise.

About 6 years ago I was holding around 175.

Just eating less won't help - only with exercises + healthy food is nice too.
The only thing that keep people from doing exercises in laziness RESIST it!

I think i'm 200 atm (if i calculated right, it's 90 kilograms), this is about my normal weight (height 187cm). Couple of months back i was getting to 220 because of the same thing - sitting in the office, car, restaurants etc. Now my lifestyle changed due to recent work opportunities so things are normal once again.

What i'd really recommend is swimming. It's much more effective than running or lifting the iron or about anything you can think of. Just make sure you actually swim and not just taking bath with all the rubber ducks or ...things
If anyone would ask me of the best way to loose weight via sports and get some muscle - it would be the first thing i'd recommend.

That's cool for normal people, and I do exercise.
But my issues are also medical, I have fibromyalgia, and genetic, my metabolism doesn't like to stay at the same rate.

I've lost upwards of 10lbs by doing NOTHING and haven't lost a pound by working my butt off.

It's a damn shame, but all I can do now is eat right and hope my body figures out what to do with itself.

The heaviest I have only been was 185,but that was still too heavy for my body type.
I jump rope,walk,ride the exercise bike,run in place and do jumping jacks.Also since it's Spring I shall do plenty of outside work,weather permitting.
The problem isn't not so much weight as I need to get my cholsetrol down.

I can't get that much weight, even if I wanted. Maybe in the future when I'm in my 50/60's.
Aside from that, I think the cholesterol hype is excessive, and because they get money from doing all those blood tests. Besides nowaday, we got all the pollution/poison everywhere there is probably not that much of a difference between moderate awareness and extremists....

I just ate en entire 12 inch pizza....
