Sunday episode 9 of NieA under 7 Genzo reminds Mayuko of their childhood together; NieA is mystified when she hears the mothership tell her "Goodbye"..

Yes, she's timid and gets bullied by other girls, walks two paces behind the guy etc.. The total opposite. Only commonality is long hair.

The number of anime shorts has increased to about 4? None worth it.
There's one semi ero /hentai.

Kono Yo no Hate de Koi wo Utau Shoujo YU-NO
Another crappy hero anime. One day the son of a disappeared archeologist received packages sent by his father containing his theory of dimensional gate and an artifact. His ex-colleague turns out to be after it when a girls appears out of nowhere... yadda yadda he obviously transfers and is surprised nobody remembers what happened. And starts fooleshly abusing this power.
For this slightly better production art I would expect more polish in story, character & design but meh.

Doesn't sound like someone who'd be camping out.

Monday no anime but instead finally got around seeing Captain Proton vs. Satan's Robots of Terror er...I mean Sky Captain. Also saw the original 6 minute movie that started it all. Cool. Reminded me a lot of one of Tom Paris' Captain Proton holodeck serials on Voyager.The whole thing was like one of those old '30s and '40s movie serials.


Tuesday episode 3 of Black Lagoon The Chinese syndicate tries to get revenge on Dutch and the Lagoon Company with a trap that backfires. Also this is the episode that teaches never piss Balailaka off! Like never get on her bad side as she has interesting ways of disposing of people. Which is why she's at the top of Hotel Moscow. And Remy taking those pirate ships down single handed...AWESOME!!!

Wed. episode 15 of Gasaraki Yushiro and Mahiro make it to the shrine of the kugai where they are met by the caretaker. When Yushiro touches the kugai he starts to see a vision of his and Mahiro's previous life...


Th. episode 12 of Crest While the Futune leads the charge into the enemy fleet on the surface Jinto, Lafiel and their "captors" race against the UMK forces to find safety. And yeah this has a lot of juicy Spoor bits like her suggestion they leave only enough for the surrendered UMK ships to make it to port in a little over 49,000 years!

Friday episode 4 of Yuki Yuna the episode revolves around Itsuki having to take a singing test for her music class and being too nervous to sing in front of people; the other girls try to encourage her( Togo I love ya but "Alpha-waves"? ) In the end Itsuki finds a note from the others that they hid in her music and she is able to pass the test with flying colors. This episode also reveals that Fu and Itsuki's parents were killed by the Vertex just as a new attack begins.


Saturday episode 7 the finale of Giant Robo I misremembered how Gin Rei dies. I thought it was the effort of teleporting into the Black Sphere that did it, instead it was her brother shooting her in the head.Also the ending hinted at a possible sequel that was never made with a mention of yet another confrontation looming on the horizon.

So next week beginning the Gin Rei Special after that re-watch of You're Under Arrest this time in English dub.


Sunday episode 10 of NieA under 7 Mayuko and Chie go shopping for a party that Chie's father is hosting at the restaurant and Mayuko learns how much a savvy shopper Chie is. Kotomi has a day off from her other job but looks glum and melancholic. NieA has a realization what "Sayonara" means and disappears.

Monday the dub of episode 4 of Photon poor Aun discovers that her big sister is now her BIG sister; Papachan finds out that the Pochi are all female; Lashura is rescued by Photon; Keyne and Aun continue their fighting.


Tuesday episode 4 of Black Lagoon, Nazis, sunken treasure and Rock and Remy go scuba diving.

Kenja no Mago
Another guys dies and is reborn, rescued and raised by a hero.
A fun show but obviously a harem anime which is kind of turning off at bad times. Would have been better without the services etc.

One Punch Man Season 2
This is basically the start of an arc. Same as before but there seems to be some minor changes.
Virtually the same as the manga but it's been a while so I don't remember it all. I'm not up to date either.

Gasaraki episode 16 on Wednesday. The Watanabe clan invades Kyoto. Gasaraki is again summoned and starts to do some damage but Past Yushiro halts the rite just as Present Yushiro did.

He gets seriously wounded in the process and Past Mahiro mourns. Then back to the present and the shrine.


Th. finale of Crest so only the OVA to watch next week.

Mix - Meisei Story
This is the continuation of Touch (by Mitsuru Adachi) some 30 years later. About two male siblings and their little sister. They aim for Koshien and are aged ~14. The art is the same as usual and judging by their age the show might run for several seasons. Sports anime has been more numerous again this season. Honestly, I think it's outdated. But the characters and all are nice. A lot of word play going around for now. Apropos the Meisei era ends in 9 days.


Kimetsu no Yaiba ep.3
An important episode which is why I watched it. Urokodaki has taken Tanjiro and his sister in, who's fallen into a coma since she expanded lot of energy without consuming human flesh (and will wake up when he becomes a demon slayer).
One day (1 year later) Urokodaki tells Tanjiro he's nothing left to teach him. Tanjiro is tasked to cut a boulder about 9 feet in size with his katana. After six month Tanjiro's about to give up when suddenly Sabito appears, taunting and riddiculing him. After beating Tanjiro out cold Sabito tells Makomo to watch over his training. One day Tanjiro challenges Sabito again and managed to cut his mask which turns out to be the boulder. And Tanjiro wonders where the two have been gone. (Their truth to be revealed later).

Friday episode 5 of Yuki Yuna the girls face their hardest battle against the Vertex and all except Karin transform into their Mankai versions; but the exertions they put out tire them out physically along with suffering some hits from the Vertex, that Karin is forced to call in the Spirit Healers.


Saturday episode 1 of Gin Rei Special Alberto decides to kidnap Gin Rei to learn how she keeps foiling the plans of the BF( here called Blue Flower and not Big Fire); meanwhile Gin Rei herself is upset because she can't find her favorite China Dress.


Sunday episode 11 of NieA under 7 with NeiA gone Mayuko is feeling down; Kotomi in the meanwhile informs the others about a possible sale of the Enohana Bath House.

Monday episode 6 of Arpeggio of Blue Steel: Haruna and Kirishima try to protect Maki from the army. While Haruna acts as a decoy Krishima and Maki attempt an escape but they're eventually caught.Kirishima tries to defend Maki but finds she can't use her usual weapons in her current teddy bear form; instead she resorts to martial arts. As the attack gets more violent Haruna manages to raise a shield wall around them but it begins to take a beating. Then the unexpected happens as Iona arrives and lends a hand with Gunzou ordering an assault from the sub.

Eleswhere Takao wakes up to find herself facing Hyuuga's robotic form...


Tuesday episode 5 of Black Lagoon: Revy and Rock make it into the sub and begin the search for the painting. When Rock finds it Revy says she wants to do some look around to see if she can find any valuables to make the job pay off. When she comes back with a bag full of medals Rock angers her by trying to point out the immorality of grave robbing.Revy shoots back that since the sailors are all dead it doesn't matter.

On the surface Dutch and Benny continue watching the Neo-Nazis. Unfortunately they have no way of warning Revy and Rock when they note the preparations to send a diving sphere into the ocean. Rock and Revy have to fight their way out of the sub and are caught in a gun battle with the Neo-Nazis who succeed in taking the painting. Or so it seems for the time being...

Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari ep14-16
So far our group has found refuge in a noble's (Reichnott) mansion who's friendly with demi-humans.
However, the local lord (Idol Rabier) raids his mansion and takes him prisoner. So our group rescued him and defeats Rabier. Rabier unseals an ancient dragonnoid which couldn't be defeated by the ancient heroes. As it turns out it has a fragment of the dragon emperor, hence, chases after filo and her fragment. So they lure it outside town but are unable to do any damage.
When Naofumi is about to use the rage shield a voice tells him not to.
Fitoria, the queen of filolials of the world shows up and easily defeats the dragon.
Spoiler: Fitoria's one of the most ancient beings alive but only remembers the past fragmentaly.
She invites them to the ancient ruins of the country her original hero master defended against the waves. She inquires Naofumi about his relationship with the other heroes.
She reveals that each country should have summed heroes ( * ) to fight the waves around the world.
She criticizes them not having fought any other battles and she had to cover for them.
She doesn't care about humans but she has to protect the world as her owner had asked her.
She tells him to make peace with the other heroes or she will annihilate them all so new ones can be summoned. Also hints about her life running out so she's looking at raising Filo to be her successor.

Kenja no Mago ep.3
It's revealed that someone is behind the increase of monsters by subtly doing so under the radar.
He causes one of the student to become a demonoid...
Looks like the good parts are over and we get thrown into the main arc. From her on I think the show will be just regular demon fighting and school plots.

Wed. episode 17 of Gasaraki Mahiro is in some sort of trance state after the encounter at the shrine and Yushiro is basically hauling her around. When they get into the nearest city Yushiro winds up protecting a local merchant and learns that there's a gang battle war for control going on. Misuzu wants to know what's happening to Yushiro and where he is but they're older brothers refuse to tell her anything. The Coup Leaders decide to attack where Yushiro and Mahiro are staying and begin looking for them..


Th. Passage of the Stars Plakia and Dubsu discover a derelict old time Abh ship with dead crew.Later Dubsu proposes and Plakia accepts. Lafiel is born and Dubsu says her name means "Loyal Gem" but Plakia states he's making it up. Ends with time skip and Lafiel on her way to meet Jinto for the first time...

Fri. episode 6 of Yuki Yuna the girls,except for Karin, suffer a lost from going into Mankai mode:

Fu loses partial sight in her left eye

Itsuki loses her ability to speak

Yuki loses taste


Togo loses partial hearing in her left ear. Later Karin decides to leave the group since they had already fulfilled their mission but Yuki tells her that they still have a lot more to do together as a group including the culture fest.


Sat. ep. 2 of Gin Rei Special Daisuku defects to BF and Giant Robo is replaced by a Gin Rei

Robot.


Sun. ep. 12 of NieA under 7 A monsoon hits as NieA returns with no explanation of where she wait. Later as Mayuko and NieA watch the Mothership dissolves and replaced by fireflies.

Shingeki no Kyojin/Attack on Titan Season3
Has started. Well, this one is a showdown season for retaking lost territories (from season1). I suppose this season is only good because of all the fighting. The rest as usual not so much imho.
The elite scout troops start a blitz operation with Eren sealing the breaches with his crystalized titan body. However, the titan have set up a trap and cut them off within the lost city.

Conan ep9xx
is still going strong. Still no end to crimes and detective work. I'm so far behind i won't bother.

Yeah, so am I. Does Ran know about who Conan actually is by now or is she still in the dark?

Monday checked out the Dragonlance animated movie to watch. Not Record of Lodoss War level but still fun. And it featured the voice of friggin' Lucy Lawless as Goldmoon!
Kiefer Sutherland was also in it.

Tuesday episode 6 of Black Lagoon Revy and Dutch board the yacht the Neo-Nazis hired and basically The Master Race gets wiped out. Funniest scene is when the giant Neo-Nazis jabbers away at Revy all about his gun and she looks bored like: "What-The-Hell?" type of bored and then shoots him and tells him: "It doesn't matter how big a gun you have when you're this close.."

Also Dutch's conversation with the man behind the whole plot while the "Commander" is looking on a bit shocked with how respectful he is to Dutch...

It looks like Ren is as clueless as ever. She's basically just a statistic most of the time.
Hm, 938 episodes if I marathon 6 hours a day (12 eps) it would take 78 days to finish! Looks like the all bible's 40 days tortures are outdated.

Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari ep17
Fitoria has taken Melty hostage and threatens to kill her if Naofumi doesn't reconcile with the other heroes. Naturally, he refuses even after she threatens to kill all heroes so new ones can be summoned. Then for unknown reasons she challenges Filo to a fight.
In the novel it's revealed Fitoria is actually very crafty and has designs for Filo.
Filo "levels up"/matures in her abilities... She "passed" the test and Fitoria gives in.
Fitoria confirms it was a test and that she would have killed them all if Filo failed.
Fitoria gives her a present, a crown as a sign of being her successor. It turns into a cowlick. (Another one of Fitoria's underhanded tricks)

So the price of KOR has gone up and with Gotanime membership it is now $67.48,so I had better order it this week and no sooner before I'll have to resort to kidnapping the twins and holding them hostage!

Wed. episode 18 of Gasaraki just as predicted riots break out after the USDA announces the new grain prices. The police and military are forced to call in the SSDF and their TAs for help when they discover the locals in the Asian Vein are using rocket launchers and semi-automatic weapons.

The Gowas use it as an excuse to use the helicopters and TAs to look for Yushiro and Mahiro. The latter is still in a trance like state and nearly betrays them when she automatically goes out for water.

Yushiro goes after her and Won, the former Intel Officer who befriended gets seriously wounded protecting them....


Th. episode 1 of Humanity Has Declined because of the scarcity of food the Mediator and the rest of the girls are told to butcher the remaining chickens while the men go hunting; the chickens run off and the men get zilch. Next day while looking for the chicken the girls find one that has been already butchered but it amazingly runs from them. The Mediator sees a mark on one of its legs.
Later the village votes after a six hour meeting to investigate.

The Mediator,her grandfather and his assistant go out and discover an unknown factory run by unknown people...


Yep this is the one with the suicidal bread....

Friday episode 7 of Yuki Yuna the girls go to the beach to relax;later at home Fu is called in to the club room where she finds a case holding the girls' cell phones all fixed and gets her new fairy. She also learns that the fight is still on.

Saturday episode 3 and finale of Gin Rei Special a mission to the desert reveals a new experimental weapon of the BF group.

Sunday episode 13, finale of NieA under 7 Chiaka freaks out because the mothership is no longer there; Mayuko and Chiaka have to start studying for their college exams; NieA makes one more UFO and damages the exact same part of the roof!

hmmm....ummm...that ad for Fruits Basket certainly doesn't look like our beloved little Tohru.

So plan on ordering KOR tomorrow if the world don't end or the Borg wind up assimilating us all.
Also Inukami so arrive either Saturday or Monday.

Monday watched episode 4 of Wish Upon The Pleaides this centered around Hikaru. I'm embarrassed to say I keep forgetting Itsuki's name and she's my favorite character!

Tuesday episode 7 of Black Lagoon Dutch sends Rock and Revy on an errand and Eda is introduced.

Wed. saw episode 19 of Gasaraki the conspirators take Col. Hayakawa into their confidence.
Yushiro decides to leave and Won helps him and Mahiro. But they're intercepted by Symbol who succeed in kidnapping Mahiro.

Th. episode 2 of Humanity Has Declined The Mediator discovers that the skinned chickens are behind the Fairies Factory and are planning on turning it into an arms factory to take over from both Humans and Fairies but their scheme is spoiled by the Assistant taking pictures. (Though how beings without eyes can be photo-sensitivie?)

Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari ep 18
First showdown! Out of the blue the pope stages a coupe while citing religious reason and all that messed up logic. All a farce of course! The battle will end next time.

Kimetsu no Yaiba ep5
Tanjiro, during the test week, meets a yokai who's hunting
Urudokai's student of of revenge. Hearing, he's the 14th student to be eaten Tanjiro is enraged and realizes the others were ghosts of the dead. Tanjiro beats him using his smell ability which shows him the path the sword has to take to strike at the destruction point. This is a (bad) rip-off from Tsukihime. Mystic Eyes of Death Perception, Dragon eyes etc are better mystical explanations.

I'm still on the fence about Mix.
Gosh when's LoGH remake returning or "I'm a spider so what" airing?

Friday episode 8 of Yuki Yuna Karin gets jealous because she's the only one of the girls who hasn't gotten a new fairy, so when another battle begins she plans to use her Mankai but Yuki gets ahead of her and defeats the Vertex before she can do anything. Later when Itsuki, Karin and Fu find themselves back on the roof of the school they discover that Togo and Yuki are missing; the other two find themselves miles away at a shrine where they meet a girl who was calling for "Wasshi" Togo says she isn't her and the girl is disappointed but tells them about the fates of Magic Girls and why only girls of a certain age are chosen. On the way home Yuki comforts a crying Togo.

IIRC from the wikia, "Wasshi" was Togo's adopted name when she was originally a hero before she met Yuki and the others; her going Mankai twice led to both her amnesia and loosing her legs...

Saturday episode 33 of You're Under Arrest an arrogant male idol star gets his comeuppance when the squad has enough of his antics. I re-watched this one in English North American dub. One thing I noticed that they added for localization reasons was mentioning
NYPD BLUE

Sunday episode 1 of [b]Brynhildr in the Darkness again I re-watched with the dub. After he thinks that Kuroneko hasdied Murakami decides to study astronomy because she was interested in the stars. Then one day a new transfer student who looks like a teenaged Kuroneko shows up. Calling herself Neko Kuharo Murakami thinks she might be his friend Kuroneko but she denies it. Later she saves a girl from drowning during swim class.
When she shows up at the observatory Murakami learns that she may be strong but she also doesn't know basic math or much else. But she warns him to be careful walking home. When he's caught in a landslide she saves him using her powers and claims to be a witch which he scoffs at and then she shows him her neck..

Comment: yeah...the girls in Murakami's class probably think he's a perv with an armpit fetish now!

Monday Angelic Layer Misaki vs. Ringo.
comments: 1) Ringo's carefree attitude is such a refreshing change from some of today's real life child stars; she doesn't care about the money, she's just in it for the fun.
2)Misaki's ability to be flexible and change her tactics to adapt to her opponent and even use past tactics and strategies used against her and Hikaru are as Icchan states based on the fact that she has a good eye and memory.

Tuesday episode 8 of Black Lagoon everyone's favorite maid (aka Roberta) is introduced...need I say more?

Also looks like my order for KOR made it. The way things are going I think I sent it in in time because I'm guessing they're going to run out again not too soon.

Wed. episode 20 of Gasaraki Yushiro arrives in Tokyo as the protests against the PM heat up; the squad is sent to help out the PM's security detail, but the stress becomes too much and one of the TAs accidentally kills a woman after she throws a Molotov Cocktail.
Elsewhere Symbol is starting a full diagnoses on what happened to Mahiro.
Yushiro calls home to talk with Misuzu but realizes their older brother has probably tapped into the line; later he contacts Captain Ataka and asks her a favor...

Th.Huamnity Has Declined episode 3, introduces the Mediator's friend Y. Y is supposed to be working on a project that is meant to memorize all of human history, culture and achievement but gets sidetracked when she discovers a floppy disc with an unpublished yaoi manga on it. She publishes it and starts a manga revival. Calling it a "Manzine" she is soon copied and a new fad of yaoi manga is started. The Mediator seems to be the only girl not into it. Things seems to go wrong though when the Fairies learn of it and soon The Mediator finds herself trapped in their magical manga along with her grandfather the assistant and Y...
