Got Croisee in a Foreign Labyrinth and the live action movie Cool Dimension in the mail
    today. Very Happy

Friday episode 10 of Aria, Alicia treats the girls to a weekend at a famous hot springs.
It's Akari's first time at one (so they no longer have them where she's from?). Aika's having fun
since she gets to be away from Akira for awhile. But her joy is dashed later on when their hostess
tells them the other guests have arrived and they turn out to be Akira and Athena!
" I've gone from Heaven to Hell!"

Saturday episode 6 of Actually I Am Asahi meets Youko's life long friend who turns out to be
a wolf man ( I was probably wrong about her father being yakuza, it just appeared that way in the
end of the last episode). He has come to take Youko home, but she points at the moon and looking
at it he transforms but not into a wofl but into: a sexy girl!
It turns out that the mere looking at a picture of a full moon can have the affect of changing him into her and vice versa. Aizawa comes to Youko's to apologize for not making it on the "date" but
she sees wants going on and comes of course to the wrong conclusion. Youko later explains things to her at school the next day.
Unfortunately the trio find out that they have a new transfer student who turns out to be Youko's
    friend.
(And she's another that has a mad on for Asahi!)

Sunday episode 7 of Kampfer (just imagine the umlauts there)
Girl Natsuru, Akane and Shizuku go over to Sakura's house. It turns out she lives in a plush apartment since her father is a VIP diplomat. Akane and Sakura fight over Natusuru who is still
dense about the fact they both like his girl form.
Later at night she wants to transform back into her guy form because she finds it easier to bath
    and go to the bathroom.
Unfortunately Sakura keeps interrupting her every time she tries to change back.
Finally she decides she'll for once have to bath as a female and is nervous about it since she's
not done it before (she is especially nervous when she looks at her breast as to how to wash them).
Later in bed she automatically transforms into her normal guy self.
Unfortunately Psycho Akane comes in and starts shooting at Sakura out of jealousy and Natsuru
turns back into a girl to protect her.
Then they're both attacked by a young girl with a white bracelet. Shizuku comes in just in time
and notes the two to them use the same type of weapon..

Monday episode 3 of Gatekeepers 21 some more good times with another oldie but goodie from
    Anime Unleashed. Very Happy
After Miu decides she doesn't want to be a Gatekeeper any more she spends the summer with her
two friends. Meanwhile Akane is back to fighting the Invaders alone.
Things get harrowing for Miu and her friends though when the Invaders begin infecting the kaoroke
    palace they go to.
Miu uses her gate of flight to try to escape but no good; fortunately a new Gatekeeper arrives, one
however that isn't so shy about bashing Invaders to bits if need to...

Tuesday episode 3 of Beautiful Bones on a hike in the mountains Sakurako and Shotaro are shown the bones of diseased elderly woman by a couple who stumbled over them. Shotaro calls in the police but the detective is miffed to see Sakurako again.
Later after school Shotaro's friend Kogami tells him her grandma has been missing for some time.
Sakurako concludes she was the victim and that the fall was an accident and not suicide as the
    police thought.
Later she takes Shotaro and Kogami to the site of Kogami's grandma's accident and shows them
why she fell: it was because she was admiring the view of the sunrise that her husband had
painted when he was younger and before he had dementia.

Wednesday episode 11 of Please Twins only the finale and the OVA are left now.
After finding out that she is in fact the twin by finding and reading their mother's diary Karin
has to decide how she'll tell the other two.
Because of her absence at school Mina tells the other girls that "it's that time of the month" as an alibi.
She uses the same alibi with Mike to explain Karin's odd behavior.
Later Karin asks Mike out on a date.
After he realizes she's found the answer as to who the twin is, he tells her it doesn't matter as long as she's satisfied.
Turning around he finds her standing below and she tells him that she's fallen in love with him:
"but that's only natural, since you are my big brother."
Coming home she wants to tell Mina on her own and urges Mike to return later.
At first Mina seems to take it well but then runs off; both Karin and Mike try to stop her and tell
her even though she's not (apparently) related to them she's still part of their little family.

I thought I read somewhere, but couldn't find it, where Mina was actually their first cousin which is why she has the same eye coloration as the twins.

Thursday episode 24 of Nadesico Shoratori (Yukina's big brother) arrives on the Nadesico
to make peace.Since he's as big a nut about Geigkanger 3 as everyone else they decide to have a fancon while he's on board. His main reason for being there though is to see Minato again.
Meanwhile a representative of the Jovian War Council is onboard the Joavian flagship and gives
Shoratori's best friend an unenviable task.
The peace commission from the Nadesico arrives but it's a trap.
Shoratori is shot by his own friend and they have to fight their way back to the ship.
Fortunately the Nadesico's sister ship arrives just in time but Shoratori dies and both Yukina and
    Minato cry.

In episode 9 we see Tessa's story in the after math of Mithril's fall. She wanders barefoot in San Francisco. She's been abandoned by her remaining men. She gets picked up and end up in a hospital...deemed crazy and handed over to psychiatrics (Amalgam agents)... But Tessa drops da bombad...  Shocked   Twisted Evil  Laughing  cheers
Albalest's core was recovered and sent somewhere with some unfinished prototype mech (of course)
Meanwhile 56 days since last, Susuke is still half dead and guarded by french intelligence. Amalgam starts their raid...

Invasion of the Empire. Nothing new. This time we get to see more on Phezzan's side and how they plot to keep the status quo.

Poor Tessa, my favorite character in all of FMP. Sad

Friday re-watched episode 11 of Aria another cold winter. The main story was the Prima's
telling their proteges the story of when they were still singles themselves. Interesting how Akira
as very much like Aika is now. lol!

Athena was always a ditz, but her voice was what made her the Undine to be recognized as
    the top one.

Saturday episode 7 of Actually I Am so the horn girl that we keep seeing in the OP, but only
saw briefly around episode 4 in a cameo turns out to be in order:
    A. A full devil
    B. Koumoto-sensei's great great great grandmother
    C. The school's principle!? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
The "Seduction Off" she and Youko have to see which one was more mature and could seduce
Asahi by getting the most nose bleeds from him was total fail; unless yuou count Shiho as a
contestant since she won hands down!

Sunday episode 8 of Kampfer Shizuku takes Natsuru in his normal boy form on a date.
But he's thinking there's an alternate motive such as drawing the white kampfer out. But
Shizuku keeps telling him it's just a date.
Later Akane shows up and asks him what type of girl he likes and all he can think of is Sakura,
but after she goes psycho on him he admits she did pop into his thoughts.

    So a,,,Shizuku isn't a moderator...goofed that up because I thought she was.

Listened to Ride On Shooting Star on Youtube today. Very Happy

Monday re-watched the Rosario x Vampire episode Summer and a Vampire raw.
Poor Gen gets left behind in the merciful hands of Kagome-sensei as the other members of the
Newspaper Club get to go to the beach for their Summer break. (actually: a) considering Gen's
a werewolf wouldn't he rather enjoy the fact that she's whipping him to get him to study and
    b) I think the manga reveals that Kurumu was supposed to take Summer classes too but she
    skipped...)
After playing in the water they notice a field of sunflowers on the cliffs overlooking the beach.
Tsukune and the girls go to investigate while Ms Nekomone stays to enjoy some fish.
Later at night after the camp is set up Yukari hears someone whispering to her and disappears.
The others get concerned when they find her missing and Tsukune goes off alone.
There he finds her with an older witch named Ruby.
Ruby is angry because Yukari is with non-witches and attacks, but Yukari beats her and
the others arrive to witness it; but just as they're leaving Ruby attacks Tsukune again and appears to mortally wound him.
Moka goes ballistic and changes into Inner Moka without the need for Tsukune to release the
rosario,Mizori and Kurumu also go full metal on Ruby...part 1..

Tuesday saw episode 4 of Beautiful Bones this was also part 1 of a 2 parter(?)
Utsmuji the police officer friend of Shotaro and Sakurabo tells them that his childhood friend
Fujioko is under the impression he has inherited a family curse and is bond to die soon.
They take a drive to Fuioko's place and meet him and his wife and infant daughter. There they
learn that the men in Fujioko's family for the past several generations, including his father and
grandfather, have all died relatively young. Most before the age of 50.
While Fujioko goes off on an errand Sakurabo looks at some paintings and then traces with her
    fingers a family lineage chart.
When he returns she remarks to herself: "So, he's actually a direct descendant."

Yeah youtube has a lot but also a lot got removed; worse quality has been getting lower.

    Steins Gate 0
It has become complicated since the time line changed for the first time. A bunch of groups appeared; fighting all over the place out of the publics eyes but our gang gets to feel more than just the heat. Also interest conflict has risen between Okarin and Suzuha. Multiple versions of Chris have appeared in real as well as in flashbacks or dreams, or the past. I suppose it's better to watch it all in a long season to grasp everything.

Legend of the Galactic Heroes-The New Thesis Kaiko ep.12
Due to hunger the people in the occupied territory have risen in revolt while the equally starved Alliance Fleet have lost their savior image by requisitioning their supplies from the people. Lohengram strikes back and has the UFP forces on the run. The Commander in Chief orders them all to gather at Amritser for a last (bloody meaningless stand).
Next time the Battle of Amritser.

Wed. episode 12 of Please Twins, Mina turns up back in school after running away. She still won't talk to Mike though and winds up staying with Matagu's family.
Karin goes to visit her to tell her to come back as they don't mind if she's not related, but Mina is stubborn. Karin remarks that they seem to have all their discussions about Mike in the bath.
Later Matagu's sister tells Mike and Karin that Mina's at the station and plans on leaving for good.
Mike gets there and tells Mina he doesn't want her to leave even making a sort of proposal to her.
As they are about kiss Karin arrives and accidentally trips falling on top and kissing her brother! Laughing
Embarrassed she mutters 'Nyu!' and faints.
Mike and Mina hear a noise and turn to see the rest of the gang watching.
They were set up it seems.
The ED shows their every day life.
At the end Mike is looking at the picture again and tells Mina that she and not Karin is the girl in the picture.
Karin adds: " I was inside sleeping at the time, which means we've all been together since the
    beginning."

Th. episode 25 of Nadesico It begins with a memorial to Shotori. The Jovian Alliance turn him into a martyr for the cause and lie about who actually murdered him to get the crowd all riled up and in a war mood.
The Nadesico and it's sister ship have meanwhile arrived on Mars. They head toward the ruins
knowing whoever controls them controls the future.
Yukari goes along with the Chairman of Nergal's decision but only so far. She orders the Nadesico to
open fire and destroy the ruins so nobody can control them.
Inez pops up and gives one last lesson.
She reveals that the Boson Jump and the Chuilps are actually connected to time travel connecting the present and future together.
Inviting Akito down she tells him: "She's waiting to meet you."
At the end Inez is heard to reel off a list of favorites and then we see a hologram of the little girl that Akito tried to save in episode 1.

Theory: With Inez' discussion of the Boson Jumps being connected to time travel I wonder if it is
possible that in fact Inez is the grown up version of the little girl that Akito tried to save; and that
while he was able to jump to Earth from Mars. she some how jumped into the future and later after
growing up there learned how to jump back to the past/present in order to join the Nadesico's
    crew.

Friday episode 12 of Aria this is the episode with all the cats on the bridge in it. Because it's a down time Alicia allows Akari to have a day off. She and Aria go to see an old covered bridge that
Akari has always wanted to visit.
When they cross over,Akari notices that it isn't as snowy on the far side as it was on the other side.
They meet a woman trying to take a picture.
She invites the two to her house and they meet her cat. Akari and the woman talk well having a snack but the boards on the porch sides get loose and Aakri falls down.
The woman apologies and tries to mend it but she too ends up falling.
Later they return to the bridge where a group of people are waiting for the water to start to flow through the canals.
One woman is pessimistic because of the number of previous failures but Akari tells them it will work.
Later the woman who Akari and Aria befriended tells her about the mystic bond between cats and time;when she waves by to them she calls Akari: "My future."
When Akari and Aria get back over to their side,Akari takes a look but the people are no longer there
and is as dark and cold as the side she and Aria are on.
When they get home again Alicia is relieved because of the late hour.

Episode 8 of Actually I Am on Saturday. The gang is told to make curry for the principle and the rest of the staff. Since Asahi missed cooking class he wonders what exactly went on.
Class Rep takes charge and decides they'll do it from a recipe she got from a manga. Unfortunately
Youko is stuck with the garlic and being a vampire can't stand it! Laughing
After awhile the "curry" is done but it turns out to be chocolate cake instead. In the tussle that
follows the cake flies out the window and on to one of Akane's horns.
She now demands they make chocolate cake; in the meantime Akime as caught up to her and demanded a interview but Akane only accepts after she brings her some pudding from the school
    stores.
Now on to a rather large demon chocolate rush,Akane demands either they make the chocolate or
else she will destroy the world!!!!!
A meteor rushes toward Earth, and the girls hurry to fulfill the principle's orders...just in time,

great Akane line: "Why didn't you use that ripe banana that's stuck between your boobs!?"
to Shiho after nearly choking on her "chocolate banana".

Kampfer episode 9 on Sunday, it all began with Akane and male Natsuru going on a
two day date to the amusement park. Then Shizuku and Mikoto decide to join them. Natusuru
and Shizuku's date from last episode is the subject of much conversation.Much to the former's
    chagrin.
At the park they meet Sakura but she's only interested in female Natsuru so Shizuku takes
Natsurus aside saying they're getting her.
(aside: in his female form Natsuru is more girly girl than even Akane! Laughing Laughing Laughing )
As they're sunning themselves at the pool three girls walk past Sakura and Natsuru notices they
    give her a nod.
Later Shizuku asks Natsuru to do her a favorite in his girl form, but the favor turns into a trap as
she is ambushed by the same three girls from before.
Fortunately Shizuku and Akane come to her rescue.
Later Sakura asks male Natsuru outside but has a rather wicked smile as she does so that he
    misses.

Ok new theory: Sakura is actually the moderator everyone keeps talking about, and Shizuku seems to have been suspicious of this fact at least since she learned of the presence of a male
kampfer, when there shouldn't be one. With helps to explain a lot of Shizuku's actions.

The question is who's the stronger gender. lol

Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory ep.10

Meanwhile, in order to destroy Almagam Tessa decides on a plan to kidnap her brother. She's willing to torture him if necessary. Twisted Evil She suffers from the pressure and has a hard time eating and sleeping.
It's been two+ months since Chidora has been in custody of Leonard Testarossa. She's become weak and plays with the thought of suicide. Leonard hints at going beyond the moon? She happens to overhear about Sousuke and somehow finds her way back into the fight.
Meanwhile, it appears Cmdr ? has joined enemy ranks and sizes the mecha prototype while it's been transported

In other words it has gotten even more depressing.

Monday watched the blu ray version of Star Trek Beyond really touching scene where Spock
is looking at the announcement of Ambassador Spock's death and then another one where he looks at
the photo of the original cast.

Tuesday part 2 of the Beautiful Bones two parter, so it looks like the entire thing was a red herring. In the end it appears that someone was manipulating Fujioka so that he would be so obsessed with the family curse that he would try to commit suicide but make it look like the curse
    was responsible.
In the end he gets a new job and his family moves into an apartment meaning that Sakurako ends up with Hector the dog.

Wed. finished Please Twins with the extra episode. Karin is getting all clinging over her newly found older big brother but later she reveals its because she thinks that his relationship with Mina means he will have no time for her. They both remind her that isn't so.
During a campout a mysterious female ghost molests Matagu and everyone winds up fainting, but
Ichigo manages to take pictures first.
Later when school is back in session Karin and Mina spy a strange girl passing a note to Mike.
    The Love Alliance is reformed!
Mina: " What are you doing with my Mike?!"
Karin: " That's my big brother!"

Thursday episode 26 finale of tv series for Nadesico still have the movie and specials.
Welp was right about Inez being Ai all growed up.Inez reveals that when Akito had made the jump to Earth she had ended up in the past and met the civilization that had created the Bosons and Chuilps.
Then she had jumped 20 years ago and got lost in the Martian desert but was found by Nergal.
She also lost her memories but her child self had brought them back to her (so Inez' life is like a Silent Mobius in a way....maybe she's really Lebia? Laughing Laughing Laughing )
It's also revealed that only those born on Mars like Akito,Yukari and Inez can do the Boson Jump
    in person because of Nanomachines,etc.
Anywho: Yukari wants to go down with the ship and won't kiss Akito, then steals his Aevastelis
revealing that she has an IFS implant.
Akito chases after her....end of series...
Also Yukina promises Minato she'll take her big brother's place as her groom...

Re: The Ubiquitous What Are You Watching Thread?

Post by mitsuki lover on 7/9/2018, 3:27 pm

Finished my re-watch of Aria on Friday with episode 13. New Year's episode and the whole gang gets together to celebrate. Alicia surprises Akari by having invited Ai and her family to come from
Manhome. Later Aria disappears and Ai and Akari follow him to discover cats on the other side of the
canal joining in their own celebration.
Then they meet Ai's big sister and her baby daughter.
And so now on to Croisee in a Foreign Labyrinth.

Saturday episode 9 of Actually I Am the gang goes to the pool but Youko doesn't know how to swim. Shiho volunteers but her "wolfish" side is too much as she is more interested in more
    lecherous pasttimes.
Azaiwa replaces her as the swimming coach and turns out to be quite good (she claims she learned to swim as part of her training on her home planet). But it gets late and Youko tells Asahi to meet
her at the school; there she shows him the hole in the fence her parents had used.
Together they do some more practicing at the school's pool not knowing that Akane and Akari are
watching them at the former's office.
Akane remembers when she was a home room teacher and Youko's parents went to the school
and adds: "I wonder what kind of vampire/ human romance this will turn out to be."

Sunday episode 10 of Kampfer Sakura hypnotizes Natsuru so he'll obey her orders.
She wants to take Shizuku out because she is too much of a problem for her,so she suggests that
    Natsuru make her "his".
She suggests this again when Natsuru is bathing in his girl form with the rest of the girls.
It looks like it might work as Shizuku seems to give in to Natsuru's unnatural lust but she stops him because she was just pretending.
Later Natsuru wakes up in the room nor remembering a thing.
On the way back Sakura whispers something in Shizuku's ears but when the latter turns she's back to her normal innocent persona making Shizuku conclude that Sakura was behind the whole thing
    after all.

Thoughts: 1) so our favorite ditzy blonde here is turning out to be the Big Bad.
    2) was that the real Sakura or her Kampfer form we've been seeing the last couple of
    episodes?
3)Only two episodes left and then the OVAs.

New anime have started and it's all meh so far. Overlord III is the only one I see I might watch out of curiosity. It's suppose to be past the bad part according to some novel readers.
I'm waiting for the next LoGH reboot series season.

    Edit:
    Darling in the FranXX ep.24
So far the aliens who control humanity turned out to be invading aliens VIRM (of course), and the Klaxosaurs princess/queen is the one who defends Earth. She and humanity once were symbiotic: the jians. Zero Two turns out to be her clone made by Earth's mad scientist  Werner Frank and the mecha's are her modified brethren (a la NGE). The queen uses the opportunity to connect with Hiro to access her ship because only a symbiotic pair can control it.
Zero Two and Hiro unite defeat the princess and go into space to fight the VIRM to their end. The VIRM promised to return.
The show ends with humanity freed and the parasite children create humanity anew as the real humans are no longer humans in exchange for immortality. And one day a young boy meets a girl...
Overall a good show with a classic theme, pattern and story telling and art. The art is a modernized variant of Galaxy Fräulein Yuna mixed with NGE so not really new.

Monday re-watched episodes 3 and 4 of Shrine of the Morning Mist in the first one
Yuzu's older sister decides to start a Priestess Club; Yuzu objects because she knows that
she'll have to be the first to volunteer.
    Great Line:
    Yuzu(slams hands on desk):" Sis!"
    Kurako:" Miss Ku-Ra-Ko to you."

In episode 4 the newly form club is searching for new members but each one Seiko and
Yuzu mention gets shot down by Chieko.
Meanwhile Yuzu discovers another girl may have shown an interest in 'Hiro!

Comment: the scene where the hallway turns into a passageway from hell with all the hands
is a good example of how much better watching DVDs on a Blu Ray player can be.

Tuesday episode 6 of Beautiful Bones this was an unusual one has the focus was actually
on Kogami for a change of pass. She is going to a festival with her friends when she spots what she thinks is a woman about to commit suicide, she even finds a note with a ring to make it appear so.
With the help of Utsumi and her teacher she tries to look for the woman but they can't find her.
Later she accidentally meets Sakurako who takes on the case.
She shows Kogami and the others that it isn't a suicide note but rather that the woman was
simply throwing away a mourning ring that contained the hair of a dead loved one and thus
    going on with her life.

comment: in this episode it is revealed that Kogami's first name is Yuri.

Wednesday episodes 1 and 2 of Season 3 of RWBY The tournament continues and teams
RWBY, SUNG and JNPR all come out with victories.
Neptune's ironic fear of water almost costs team SUNG.

Thursday Nadesico:The Prince of Darkness movie. This centers mainly around Ruri as she is the
newly installed captain of the Nadesico B.
A new threat as emerged in the form of a Martian Separatist group called ironically enough:
    Martian Successors.
The Nadesico B under Ruri is sent to investigate the disturbing development that they have
    advanced Boson Jumping ability.
It turns out they have been using Yurika who was declared dead along with Akito and Inez after a rather convenient shuttle crash.
Yurika and Akito were abducted and Inez faked her death.

Great end line: "She's as clueless as ever."
after Yurika is rescued by her old crewmates and asks why everyone looks so much older. Laughing

episode 1 of Croisee in a Foreign Labyrinth on Friday. Yune comes to Paris with Oscar to work as an apprentice in his shop. Oscar's grandson Claude acts like a jerk when he first meets her and tells her
    to go back to Japan.
Later after she accidentally breaks a butterfly that was part of a sign Claude was repairing she gives him her mother's kimono as a sign of apology.
After Oscar tells Claude that the kimono was Yune's most precious possession (he had sold it in the meanwhile)he feels bad and buys her a French picture book because he thinks she can't understand their language. He's surprised when she turns out to have been fluent in French all along.
In the epilog after the EP Claude states that since she knows French already he can take the book back, but Oscar reminds him that it is Yune's new precious thing and she has vowed to never again
give anything that's precious to her away.

episode 10 of Actually I Am on Saturday. It starts out with Asahi taking Youko out for
lunch with his friends. They run into Mikan who is working at the resturant and she says she has
finished the Russian pastries from last time. Shima and Asahi gorge out on them. In the meanwhile
Akane shows up and decides to have some fun with Mikan.
Later at school she manages to steal her glasses and Mikan along with Asahi and Azawi end up chasing her all over the school.
They finally corner her but she produces a closet full of clones and challenges them to pick the right one; this isn't too hard as Asahi points out that she's still wearing them!
Next she duplicates her self and again challenges them to pick the right Akane. And yet again
Asahi points out that would be the one actually wearing the glasses (for a centuries old
devil Akane can certainly be dense! Laughing ).
    Finally Akari intervenes.
Asahi goes to tell Youko about finding the glasses and then Azawi discovers the truth behind them.
She and Mikan talk outside and then Asahi and Youko show up.
Mikan doesn't want them to know her secret and Azawi distracts them by climbing out of the robot.
Then Asahi and Youko wind up trying to distract Mikan and in the process she drops the glasses as she is about to put them on but Azawi catches them and puts them on herself and everyone hears
the glasses confess her feelings for Asahi...

episode 11 of Kampfer on Sunday. This is basically the finale as episode 12 is a special Christmas episode and the OVAs come after that. Shizuku reveals to Natsuru the truth about Sakura but he can't believe it so he goes over to her place to learn it from her. Not only does Sakura
admit to the truth but also reveals she happens to be a man hating lesbian who really wants him
to decide to be a girl permanently.
Her eyes glow as she talks and he transforms into his female kampfer form.
Later Shizuku and the other girls get a message from Natsuru to meet him on the school roof top.
They each think he's about to confess to them; but it turns out to be a trap.
They are attacked by the White Kampfers but fortunately the enemy turns out to be weak.
But then the real surprise turns up: Natsuru heads toward them in a trancelike state and under
Sakura's orders starts to attack her friends
    .
After they are defeated Sakura tells them that NAtsuru was the key to victory to either side.
If he had decided to remain a boy forever they would have won but since she decided to remain
    a girl forever she wins!
She orders Natusru to kill them and she is about to do so when she notices the charm she
    gave Shizuku on their date.
To encourage her Sakura decides to give her her promised reward right away but just as she begins
kissing Natsuru, Natsuru voluntarily turns back into a boy. This of course grosses Sakura out and
    she slaps him violently.
Shizuku and the others rout Sakura and her White Kampfers.
It ends with Natsuru wondering what happened..since he/she had been in a trance the whole time,
and the girls all flirtering outrageously with him.

Comment: Next time I watch I have to look out for all the subtle clues.
Also Shizuku it seems to me is the actual heroine of the series.

Monday watched the live action movie Cool Dimension about three hitwomen, kinda like
Cbarlie's Angels gone bad sort of thing. The plot was about a politician they had to kill because
he had the goods on their current client.
The central character, Shiori, has him cornered in an elevator and is about to make the hit when he
confronts her. She lets him go.
Later they attack his daughter and her care giver and threaten the daughter unless he surrenders to them and take them to where he hid the data.
But when they recover it Junko kills Mika and Shiori goes after the traitor...

Basically all three of them die in the end violently: Mika after being attacked by Junko and her girl gang; Junko by Shiori; Shiori in the end by their handler who shoots her in the back when she's
    almost to safety.

Also there is one scene of the politician who hired them watching his young mistress being
sexually aroused by a gigolo, this has nothing to do with the actual narrative and it would have
flowed smoother if it had been cut.

Tuesday episode 7 of Beautiful Bones part 1 of another multi-parter.
Shotaro's school is having their Cultural Festival and he manages to get Sakurako to come.
She gets bored at the pancake maid cafe his class set up and wonders off when he's gone.
He finds her in the science room looking at the bones. She criticizes the way they are mounted and then the teacher from the previouis episode arrives.
The teacher and Shotaro end up helping her inventory the bones that have been all stored away
in boxes. Shotaro finds a trunk filled with human bones.
Sakurako leaves and goes off to visit her uncle.
    The police identify the bones.
Shotaro finds that Sakurako has "borrowed" the bones of a cat...

This is the first mention of Sakurako being engaged.

Got Tenjho Tenge in the mail yesterday.

Wed. episodes 3 & 4 of Season 3 of RWBY the tournament continues. Both Winter, Weiss'
    older sister, and Qrow arrive.
Qrow reports that things are getting worse on the outside; later he hangs with his "nieces".
Emeraud and Mercury easily defeat their opponents in the tournament.

Th. the extras and the Gekinganger 3 OVA for Nadeisco it included a music video of the OP and interview with the singer. Also saw the seiyuu interviews. Interesting the seiyuu for
the cook was also the voice of Dr. Crusher in the Japanese dub for Star Trek:The Next Generation, so it was weird hearing her talk about Star Trek as a foreign production. Laughing
As far as the OVA itself, basically it was Akito,Yukari,Ruri and Minato watching a movie based on
Gekinganger 3. The first part was clips from the various scenes shown already on
Nadesico the second part was new material.
At the end Yurika gives out wedding invitations to a surprised Minato and Ruri.

Episode 2 of Croisee in a Foreign Labyrinth on Friday. This was all about the cheese more or less.as Yune begins to learn about French foods and how they're different from Japanese. There's
one point where Claude takes her to the open market in Paris and she goes around smelling and
handling all the produce. At one point a herd of miniature goats goes pass them.

Episode 11 of Actually I Am on Saturday. The Summer festival and Aizawa and Asahi are on a date. Later Youko winds up in the principle's office because she's too shocked to actually do any
studying. Akane decides to have some fun with her by pretending to be Asahi. Then she really ramps it up by using her powers to make Youko see herself and Asahi all over the place.
Unfortunately when the real Asahi shows up Youko doesn't realize it's him for awhile; but when she
does it's Akari who thinks he's Akane!.
The end has Azawi musing over her feelings for Asahi.

episode 12 of Kampfer on Sunday. This was basically a silly Christmas story that was put in at the end. female Natsuru is telling a bed time story to her and male Natsuru's daughter (yeah time skip and they don't explain how Natsuru was split into his two component halves). The gist is that the Bowel Familiars wind up in the bodies of the kampfers and vice versa.
They have a catch phrase of "It's Good To Be Alive!"
As I said rather silly but at least we get to Bunny Girl Akane! Very Happy Cool cheers cheers
Even though it was really her Bowel Familiar in her body.

Re-watched episode 24 of Betterman on Monday night. The gang goes off after Hinoki who is being held at the Mode Warp HQ. Of course the whole thing is a trap. Sho and Kaede end up getting
separated from the others and their child influences Kaede to use the self destruct killing them both.

When I originally watched the dub back in the old days of Techtv's Anime Unleashed
I didn't understand why Kaede kept referring to Sakura as "Cherry" all the time; but I get it now:
it's simply a nickname based on the fact that the Japanese word sakura can be translated as cherry.

Tuesday saw episode 8 of Beautiful Bones the end of this 2 parter. Shotaro makes Sakurako
go with him to visit Sakaki-sensei's sister. She tells them the story of Natsuko her care giver and
friend. One of the secrets she reveals is that Natsuko had a child that died.
Later after finding the bones Sakurako discovers that the sister was the mother and not Natsuko.
When they get back Shotaro reveals that he knows that the cat bones that Sakurako took were
her other pet cat, and that she is an alumna of his current school back when it was an all girls
    school.
She applauds him and tells him he will make a better detective than her one day and also tells
him of how Sakaki sensei taught her everything she knew..

When I'm finished with Beautiful Bones it's on to Season 4 of RWBY and then
got to order Seasons 5 & 6 next year I think..

Re-watched episodes 5 & 6 of Season 3 of RWBY on Wednesday. Pira is introduced to the
Fall Maiden who is being held in cyrogenic sleep in a sub basement of the clock tower. She's given the
choice of taking her place as the new Fall Maiden. Meanwhile Yang faces off against Mercury in the
one on one battles. She wins but Mercury attacks when her back is turned and she's walking away.
Mercury's team mates of course have doctored the video so that everyone, including her teammates
think she attacked him for no reason...

Th. episode 1 of Matoi the Sacred Slayer Matoi and her friend Yuma are emjoying themselves at Yuma's family shrine when Matoi's father comes to take her home. While they're enjoying dinner
he gets a call to go back on patrol.
He and his partner Pochi uncover a case where a model has been killed in a rather eerie fashion.
A strange blonde woman shows up and immediately demands she be part of the investigation.
She claims it has something to do with the occult; Shingo,Matoi's dad refuses to believe it.
Meanwhile the artist who instigated the attack and is possessed by a demonic spirit arrives
at Yuma's family's shrine where he precedes to kill everyone.
Luciela, the blonde woman ,asks Shingo about buildings dating back to the 15th century and he
replies about his wife's family's shrine and they race there.
Yuma and Matoi arrive to see the aftermath; the demoniac attacks but Yuma prepares to do a
spell that will turn her into a exorcist;she fails and Matoi is the one who is chosen instead.
After defeating the monster she finds herself being groped by her father because he mistakenly
thought she was his missing wife Shiori, even calling his daughter by her mother's name.
Matoi runs off and wants to return to normal.
In the woods she transforms back to normal but unfortunately finds herself totally naked and freaks out...

Note:The groping is understandable when you remember in the family portrait that is shown that Matoi looks very similiar to her mother Shiori. Also Shingo doesn't really know it's his
daughter and not his missing wife.

Shingo also seems to imply that Shiori is related to Yuma's family.

    Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory
Has ended. Sasuke unites with Tessa. Just when I thought it gets better it's the end of the season.  I dunno if it will continue but since it's a cliff-hanger...

Godzilla: Kessen Kidou Zoushoku Toshi - 00
Continuing from the last movie where they tried to reconquer earth.
The survivors run into post-humans. They are highly intelligent but have primitive stone age tech. They appear to warship some kind of god who lost the fight against godzilla and left an egg. We don't see it but it seems to be protected by a huge wall with sacred text. A pair of female twins activate something by touching the wall and serve as telepathic transmission medium to communicate with the survivors. Haruo hatches a new plan to kill Godzilla.
Honestly, for a "serious" scifi anime it's still low level anime with typical dumbness at times. It should be on Gits level but could as well be irrelevant. So more meh than not.

    Gundam Origin ep6
The end. You should at least watch ep. 5 and 6.
The war starts and Char lays waste to the Federation's second group flett. While the second fleet is wasted the primary fleet could have engaged and taken the defenseless Zeon home. But the admiral decided to turn back and "save" the already lost fleet. It looked like he's a coward but it very well could be a plot by the hawks on both side.
Admiral Revil is "rescued". Obviously a political plot. He holds a flaming speech which disrupt the peace talk and leads to total war.
Meanwhile the team is being introduced. The end.

    The Federation could have won

So what about Kaname and Kyoko?

Friday episode 3 of Croisee in a Foreign Labyrinth Claude is having trouble with a new commission until he sees Yune write a letter home. He asks what the characters are and she
tells him and then shows him how to do the kanji for sound.
He gets an idea and copies it down.
Later after selling the sign he goes to the stationary shop to get better stationary for Yune to
    write to Japan on.
It starts to rain and Yune runs off with an umbrella to find Claude.
Oscar tries to tell her it's ok because it doesn't rain too hard in Paris.
She finds Claude and they walk back.
On a bridge after the rain they hear the church bells ring and she tells him it reminds her of the temple bells back home except they go DONG!DONG!
Meanwhile Alice has gotten Yune's kimono as a gift from her older sister Camille and likes it better than the deed to the Galerie du Roy that their father gave her.
Then Camille tells her about Yune and she replies: "I'm going to make you mine one of these days
    Japanese girlie!".....insert BAWAHAHAHA sound! Laughing

Saturday episode 12 of Actually I Am this was bittersweet as Youko's father learns about
her secret coming out. Asahi dreams she's going away, but Aizawa tries to prevent him from reaching the roof as everyone thinks she's about to confess to him.
Akane knows that Aizawa wants to stop Asahi and Youko so tries to make a deal with her for some chocolate but Akari interfers.
Asahi has to run a gauntlet of traps that Aizawa built to prevent him from getting to the roof on time because she knows if Youko and Asahi become a couple it will end her chance.
In the end Asahi manages to make it only to see a large bat carry off Youko and he realizes the truth of his nightmare.
He turns to Aizawa and asks her to help him to get Youko back.

Sunday OVA 1 of Kampfer this follows right after episode 11. The next day Sakura comes to school and seems not to remember the events of the past 24 hours.Shizuku calls a council and they try to figure things out.Natsuru is of course no help because even in his girl form he has the hots for
    Sakura.
Later in the library Mikoto and Akane practice making out with a guy with each other but get to into it. Then they find themselves being stared at by one of the White Kampfers and Mikoto gives chase only to find it a trap.
    She's mesmerized...
Sakura asks Natsuru out and The Other Sakura tempts her to join her side.
Natsuru changes back into a boy and Sakura tries to have her way with him and then Mikoto
    comes.
Her body starts to move toward Natsuru but her mind is helpless but fortunately Akane and
Shizuku interfere. Akane goes after Sakura while Shizuku fights Mikoto to bring her back to
    herself.
Natsuru chases after Akane and is blocked by the White Kampfers but this time he's able to use
his fire power effectively and is able to defeat them easily.
Later all of them confront Sakura one last time, but declaring she feels things are even now she
retreats with her White Kampfers but not until telling them when she sees them at school
the next day she won't remember anything.
At the end Natsuru wonders if both Shizuku and Sakura are being manipulated by the Moderators.

Re-watched the episode of Outlaw Star on Monday where the gang goes back into space because they have to re-supply but they don't have the money. This is before they introduce everyone's favorite Ctarl-Ctarl.
They reach the space station, which is really a mini-world in space and Jim and Gene take Malfina
    for a look around.
They still don't have enough cash so Gene starts looking for The Big Score (tm).
He thinks he's found it by locating a renegade cyborg and challenges him to a duel.
After defeating the cyborg he and Jim are feeling good about the money they've made when
Midnight Suzuka walks past them followed by a group of star struck police women.
Turns out Suzuka struck an even BIGGER payload and it leaves Jim and Gene feeling glum.

Tuesday episode 9 of Beautiful Bones this one is a sequel to the one where they found
Yuri's grandmother's bones.Yuri (whose full name is actually Yuriko) asks Shotaro and Sakurako
over in order to find the painting that her grandmother willed to her as she doesn't know which
    one it is.
Sakurako tells her it's something she can't solve because it's up to Yuri herself.
Later Shotaro shares some pudding he bought with Sakurako and Baya.He tells the story of how when his grandmother was in the hospital with cancer he used to bring pudding to her all the time.
But he doesn't understand why she wanted him to buy it from only one store.
Sakurako let's Baya tell him the reason.
Later after he leaves Sakurako tells Baya to take it easy because she's noticed that she isn't
feeling as well as she used to but Baya refuses saying: "I'll always be your Baya..."
